They are just incredible people. Talented, caring, know how to run a business efficiently without it ever feeling like a business. They genuinely love every pet and, just having to had put our dog to sleep, they could not have been better on the care over the past few years and especially the past year with our dog. Tender with her and gave us all the options to help her have the best life and the most gentle passing. We were lucky enough to always have Jenna Koenigstein, DVM - can't say enough about her as a Vet and as a person. Thank you BVHVET

I have a nervous 7 year old shepherd mix, so when we relocated to Point Pleasant earlier this…read moresummer it was a top priority to establish care with a vet who was willing to be patient with him. He is also 90 lbs and his size can create a unique challenge. We've struggle in the past to find a vet who would build trust and work with him vs. rushing to full sedation. I was blown away by the care we received from Dr. Koenigstein. She prescribed a comfort pack for him to take in advance of his appointment, and was very gracious when he was too stubborn to enter the exam room. She spent a great deal of time with him to make him comfortable with her. She also let me stay with my dog during the entire visit, which I think went a long way in keeping him relaxed. As a team of three (the vet tech, Ashley, was amazing too!), we soothed my dog and kept him comfortable through the exam, vaccinations, and even a nail trim. I feel so fortunate to have found this place and would absolutely recommend it to all pet lovers in the local area!

I just completed the seven week basic obedience course with my 8 month-old hound mix, and could not be more pleased with the results. Pete is clear and direct in his feedback, which I really appreciate. Each week's homework is laid out, and Pete constantly reiterates that he is a phone call away if you encounter any speed bumps or need clarification between classes. I was also grateful for the flexibility of being able to drop into class on an alternate evening if I hit a scheduling snag. My pup and I are about to move on to the eight week therapy dog course, and I am confident that we have the foundation necessary to be successful. All-in-all I highly recommend Kindred Souls Canine Center.

From the first class the instructor was on a power trip. Instead of instruction, only received criticism; the food we fed was wrong, but he did not recommend a new food. He hated the collar and tossed it. Put on another one said he would charge us. ( he didn't). The dog has died the child is grown. My only regret was ever going to this dog trainer who was on a power trip. ( he was recommended by a person whose opinion I respect)
