The trailer and RV were only held together with the safety chains!! We had Roadside Assistance (Agero) through Progressive Insurance, but after being stranded for 3 days waiting for a tow previously, we decided to attempt to solve this ourselves. After struggling for an hour, a little white van with flashing lights pulled up behind us, and a smiling man, Dan got out and asked if we needed help. Within a few minutes he informed us that we had too small a ball on our hitch (our mistake after taking one off 6 weeks earlier so we could be towed, and putting the wrong one on!). His son Brandon quickly remedied the situation, and after a seemingly small amount of money exchanged hands, they helped us safely back on our way, thanking God and counting our blessings. If we ever break down again, I hope it is within Firebird's territory!! They are competent and go above and beyond!!

A friend of mine on disability had engine trouble on her hyundai. Brought it to Heath's. After a…read more$250 diagnostic fee that is a huge ask on disability income, they diagnosed blown engine, said $9200 to replace it. I saw there was an extended warranty/recall on the engine due to a manufacturer defect, so we brought it to the hyundai dealer. No diagnostic fee. They found it was "just" a bad knock sensor, $750, and after some more digging on their part, the sensor was part of another recall, so free repair. The metal shavings in the oil that Heath claimed showed a blown engine were nowhere to be seen. My friend could not have paid $9200, and she needs transport. Diagnosing a blown engine when it's not blown, and not even looking to see if there is a recall isn't acceptable, especially knowing, as they did, that money was very tight.
