It's both an indoor and outdoor market with the emphasis on food - prepared as well as produce - and lots of jewelry. There are the standard clothing and household items and the occasional unique offerings as well but they're the exception rather than the rule. Parking is in the back and is cost free, as is admission. If you need a spare iPad cord or some fresh produce while you grab a burrito or American-Asian food, this can be the place. The indoor market is now largely a conventional swap meet, with stalls filled with items obtained on Alibaba. (Since I'm fascinated by fashion doll clones, I can't really complain -- there are multiple stalls with huge selections!) You can also buy furniture and appliances, and play pool. The outdoor market has more sellers of their own used stuff, as well as some more artisanal offerings and so much street food and produce! What an interesting place. The kids and I drove down here as we have never been to the Stockton flea. Thought it would be a good walk at least, we were weirdly and pleasantly surprised. Like many of the flea market/swap meet we been to, they are usually heavily Hispanic influenced, and this one is no different. There's an inside portion on the market, where all the permanent storefronts are located and the outside area, with all the by the day vendors are at. This place reminded me of the old San Jose flea market from years back before they made all the changes to it. There were multiple jewelry stores, dress shops, restaurants, a couple of electronics stores, an arcade with pool tables and even a church in the indoor area. Lots of interesting stuff to look at. The outdoor area was even better, there were the rent by the day vendors with their used items, fruit stands and multiple eateries. Deals and deals to be had here, so come with cash and an appetite. read more

It was nice. First time there but what I'm mostly interested in are people selling goods like a garage sale. After a while there's just so many socks, and T-shirts and phone chargers you could buy. So the people selling personal items works more for me. With that said, it's actually a very well laid out flea market, and everyone was nice. read more

I love coming here on Saturdays to get my fruits and vegetables here! There is a lot of Mexican spices here and I'm not Mexican but the people there tried to explain what it was to me and let me try some there.. the oranges are so cheap here! I always walk out with at least 2 bags full of oranges... there is also a Mexican restaurant inside and their tacos are to die for! I never bought anything else just their fruits etc ... I love the fact I can come here with 20 bucks and walk out with bags of food which would cost me so much more at the groceries. Also there is a lady there that sells pistachios and she mixes tequila and lime in it!!!! Soooo good I usually get like 2 pounds of that! Your reviews are bringing me some nostalgia... I grew up coming here every sunday after church... my parents would come after chruch and buy oranges, jalapenos, tomatos and a few odds and ends.... Place has a lot of variety. I prefer this one instead of the Wilson Way Open Air mall..... I had not been here for about 3 years...and I went just a few weeks ago with my mom.... Swear it..it hasn't changed..even the same vendors... Same guy, with the big sideburns selling eggs (sweet nice guy and family). Corn dogs are delish. Corn on the cob is delish Churros are delish. Horchata is delish. I prefer the outdoor portion to the indoor portion. I like visiting mainly the produce section and kinda stay away from the second hand goods....and the household products and toys..... This day and age you don't know what toys made in china contain lead...or what products were imported to the US and can cause cancer.... I stick to the fresh veggies. I really get a kick out of the vendors saying "naranjas!! naranjas!! 10 por $1!!!!!!! Minus 1 star for charging 0.75 cents for admission???!!!!!!!! I secretly think its the security guards just trying to make some extra cash????!! read more

This place satisfied all my criteria for a great flea market...or great any place, for that matter. A Mexican restaurant in the entry building serves beer, micheladas, and delicious food. My wife had a torta and my little daughter had a burrito. Both were excellent. The salsa they use is exceptional. My son and I had fried fried chicken leg quarters from a Chinese food stand. Parts of the chicken were a little dry, but the flavor and crispy skin were excellent. My son loved it. I am a big fighting game fan, and I was so stoked to find that they have an arcade with multiple variations of Street Fighter, King of Fighters/Neo Geo, Tekken and more! All controls worked perfectly. This is very rare to find in 2017. Also games were only 25/50 cents each. We went on a Saturday and there weren't too many vendors, but I'm sure it must be awesome on a Sunday. Of the vendors that were there, we were able to get toys for the kids, some delicious fresh cherries, and various nicnacs. We'll be back for sure! read more

Now, I remember way way way back in the days when I was like a little kid, outside they had a go kart racing area. I'm sure it was this flea market. Then they removed it :-( Now, normally I don't shop here often but you can get good deals on some beds and some furniture, often used. If you are a college student about to move out to a dorm, then maybe look into getting a desk, dresser, sofa, etc. from here first. We mainly come here to walk, and shop for some vegetables here and there and fruits. They have good food stands also, indoors and out, mainly chinese and mexican, and some american burgers and what not. And indoors there is this dining area with dining tables and a television on a ledge, and they put on normal TV mainly sports, and sometimes movies. Now recently, there's this Asian Guy Sai, which he collects used junk or once belongings that are abandoned from rent storage I think from the bay area. You'll be amazed what some good stuff you'll find, like we got a bunch of kerosene indoor glass lanterns, silverware, and some electrical stuff like power strips. It varies from each weekend. He's outside to the left of the indoor entry to the indoor market, and is usually set up near an asian food stand. read more

I really love to come here with family to spend time even just to look around but I never bought gold there before or anywhere else. So we went there a couple weeks ago, my birthday was coming up and I had some cash I had been saving up for a few months, so I started thinking man I never had a chain before it'll be cool to get a little something anyways I ended up buying a chain with a pendent and the price came next to 1 g. So a few weeks later a friend of mine came over to my house. Now this friend of mine knows a lot more about gold then I do and he flipped out! The pendent was fake as hell!! We compared pendents and oh you can notice the difference QUICK.. I am going sometime next week to confront the man who sells gold. I Wish I can take more Time to explain just about everything and how we knew it was fake.... Man I'm so much of an amateur this gold I guess I can blame myself to for me Being ignorant about gold. but come on man why do people have to take advantage like that???!!! This is one of the best flea markets in the Central Valley, it has plenty of free parking for patrons and admission is always free for all. There are tons of things to rummage through here, so be sure to clear out a good section of your morning in order to dedicate the necessary time needed to fully explore all of its hidden gems. This flea market has both an indoor exhibit hall as well as an outdoor shopping area, but the best deals always seem to be found outside the hall, often times you can find many similar items for a few dollars cheaper. If you do decide to come here, there are two indulgences that I highly suggest you partake in; tacos from the Grullense truck (Asada & Cabeza are addictive) and ice cold Agua Frescas (Rompope and Chicle are definitely worth tasting). read more

Lovingly referred to as The South Side Mall. My family and I spent a good portion of yesterday at the two flea markets on a mission to find two items: a chair for my daughter's desk and a fireplace log rack/grate thingamajig. SSM was our second stop. I hadn't been hear for a few years and it still looked the same. There was a lady who had a booth and I remember her from when I was a little girl. We found a furniture section with a bunch of different kinds of chairs and my daughter got to pick one out. I actually prefer the Wilson Way flea market to this one. I felt claustrophobic up in there. Three stars for the nostalgia. Going there brought back memories of my cousins and I walking to the flea market with a few dollars...shopping for Madonna-style belts, bracelets, gloves...and whatever else Madonna wore during that time. I also could not forget the time I begged for a Michael Jackson poster...the one in which he was wearing a yellow sweater vest with his curls. Back when he was still kinda cute. Between the 2 locations of flea market in Stockton. I'm sure you could find what you want or a decent deal. We've come here a few times to kill a lazy afternoon and it's hit or miss as far as wares are concerned. Some booths can have an excellent variety of parts and items. Others can look like people are selling stuff taken straight from people's homes. There's a fee vendors here that are rude, I make it a point to show them that I won't do business with them. All in all its a fair place to come and shop. Just don't set your expectations too high. read more

I use to come here when I was a super youngin' comin here with my parents while they were on search for random stuff. Like forreal I went here the other day and seen one spot selling RIMS, KITS FOR CARS, Front fenders and all that! You can get the usual clothes, accessories, jewelry, appliances and what have you. But you can get crazy shit like car kits, air brushed... anything, I saw no grills, beds, washing machines. Place is crazy but there aren't that many people selling stuff these days and some of the stuff is just straight bootsy! I'd say this spot is cool if you're looking for bigger things like desks, dressers, freakin washin machines! Just make sure all that stuff works! The indoor area is like a maze, bet you'll get lost before you make it to the out door area. I didn't find anything but some bomb cheap mangos this past visit. My grandmother used to be the queen of this flea market. My mom and uncles would tell me stories of her legendary selling abilities. One story went "your grandma was such a good saleswoman, I swear could sell a heater in summer." My mom and uncles practically spent their youth assisting my grandmother at the flea market. And when I was born I spent much of my time here as well. Supposedly my grandmother attempted to sell me once. But there are plenty of useful things at the clear market. You could find almost anything here. And on the weekends there is a farmer's and fishermen's market, where there is fresh produce and seafood at really great prices. read more

I am probably a bit older than most of the reviewers here but I remember when this was the "Disco-Wonderworld Discount Store". Kind of like what Walmart or Target is today, a discount new merchandise store that had two other locations at that time (North Stockton-1015 West Hammer Ln where Orchard Supply Hardware is today and in East Stockton-110 North Filbert St where the SJRTD Bus Warehouse is at). Centro-Mart operated the supermarket department here. It first opened up in 1966 as "Villa Faire" then they were bought out by "Mac-Disco" which changed its name to "Disco-Wonderworld" in 1969 before changing its name to simply "Disco Department Store" before closing in 1971. Stockton Flea Market opened soon afterwards and it had been the flea market since then. I just recently went here yesterday which was my first since 1977. The only difference is that the venders sell more new merchandise than old used stuff. Not a bad place to shop but it lacks the ambience of the flea market feel to it. read more
