He provides bespoke service for his customers/patients/clients and is like an old school doctor, there when you need him and tailoring his services to meet the needs of his patients. He takes his time and never rushes through an appointment. And in addition to his top-notch optical care, he is also very relatable, dispensing sage advice and with a caring manner. They neglected to mention a few crucial facts: 1. Once the glasses arrive at the store, they can't be picked up until the in-house optician inspects them; 2. The in-house optician was on vacation for the next two weeks; 3. No substitue optician would be filling in; 4. Once the glasses are delivered to a WP store, they're stuck at that store and cannot be delivered to a different WP store (where the optician could examine them and release them to the customer), nor could an optician from a different store come to their location. For me, these facts amounted to my glasses being physically present in the store for over a week while they refused to give them to me, as their optician was scheduled to return from vacation the day after I left town for mine. I explained to the staff that I was going to be doing multiple long drives for which I really should be wearing my new prescription for safety's sake, but they kept refusing to consider any way of resolving the situation other than holding my glasses hostage until I returned from my trip. Had they been honest with me about the optician situation when I ordered the glasses, I would have had them sent directly to my home and received them in plenty of time. I will most definitely not be shopping at Warby Parker again.
