Found this place by accident! First great pizza, generous toppings, good sauce and great service and prices! Lucky people in area and visitors who happen upon this place! No frills atmosphere but very clean! If you want ambiance go to an overpriced Pizza Hut and enjoy the cardboard crust! 0r worse Papa John's or Dominos or many new boys on the streets ! If you really want to go real low try Little Caesar's! Heck for $5 you get a whole pie! A big duuuhhhh! The pizza came out hot and crispy! I don't give 5 stars easily as you will see in my other reviews! Again all these high priced chains offer mediocre or less products and charge outrageous prices but the sheeple follow like lambs to slaughter because of advertising and tech skills! Let me start off by saying, WOW! Now to be fair, I haven't actually been to this location, however, my significant other, Juan L.R. visited Stone Fired Pizza and had their Bruschetta personal pie. He was so impressed with this pie, that he decided to buy me the exact same one, to go. So after a few hours of Juan raving about this pie, my expectations were high. Needless to say, the pie had been in the fridge and I'm not one that enjoys cold pizza. So I popped that baby into a microwave. Mind you, I usually reheat pizza slices in my toaster over...but I was crazy hungry and with little patience. So even though I ate microwave heated pizza, their Bruschetta Pizza pie was AMAZING! Bruschetta consists of tomatoes, onion, garlic, olive oil, basil and delicious mozzarella cheese. Reminded me of a Caprese salad with extra flavor and a scrumptious kick! Now I'm a firm believer that pizza without red sauce, is not pizza. HOWEVER... the bruschetta pie is definetly a pizza-worthy title. Can't wait to try them again! read more

My son loves the pepperoni rolls. It is literally the deciding factor when we want pizza. Stonefired's food is usually great, but we have some great Italian places that we prefer for certain dishes. I ordered a 10 piece pepperoni rolls, and this is the first time we had 4 leftover, everything else was great as always, but not better than their competitors, who are also less expensive. The rolls are usually made from bread sticks, sliced down the top center filled with cheese, pepperoni, garlic, herbs, and parmesan and baked to perfection. I hope it was a mistake by someone new in the kitchen that doesn't know what they're doing and not a permanent change. We got breadsticks with pepperoni and cheese on top, and the toppings fell off when picked up. If this is what to expect I'll spend my $15 on something else. read more

Delivery was great and here in reasonable time on a fri Pizza taste was great! But crust was little to chewy. As I understand it may be gluten being mixed to long but I really am not sure. 2 people in house have false teeth and had a very hard time chewing pizza. read more

I decided to try this pizza place based on recommendations so I ordered online the White Pizza (described as creamy ricotta cheese drizzled with virgin olive oil, garlic and topped with cheese and fresh herbs) and had it delivered to my house. The delivery time was reasonable (35 minutes - I'm about 4 blocks away, but it was a March Madness Sunday night), but the pizza itself was dry and only slightly warm. It definitely was not worth the 16-inch $15.95 price. I had to add broccoli and spinach to it to give it some flavor. Hole in the wall with great pizza! I went with the create your own 2 slice option. Ordered gouda, broccoli, pepperoni, and red peppers and within about 10 minutes it was in front of me. They're big slices, two was plenty. Usually my favorite bite is the very first point of the pizza, but this time the crust stole the win. Being cooked in the stone oven really added great flavor. Just found this place and brought the family. The breadsticks are fresh, hot and soft. We had the spinach and bacon salad with balsamic vinaigrette, it was very fresh and tasty. Then we got the extra large triple pepperoni pizza. OMG! This thing was piled with pepperoni and cheese, with just the right amount of sauce. The pizza was one of the best I've had in a long time, way better than the other guys down Orange Ave. the only down side is there is only a few tables to sit at to dine in. They do have a patio with a couple of tables too. All the drinks are canned or bottled and not fountain. I am a huge sweet tea drinker being from the south so if the offered fresh brewed ice tea then this place would be my absolute favorite. We had their pizza called "The Works", which is topped with sausage, ham, bacon, beef, pepperoni, mushrooms, green peppers, olives and onions laying in bed of tomato sauce and cheese sitting on top of a crust that wasn't too bready and wasn't too thin...it was just right. Stone Fired was ridiculously easy to order from, way too easy, this could be troublesome for my triglyceride levels. I found them online and followed their online ordering including choosing the time I wanted to pick it up and paying online. Went early, but it wasn't ready until exactly the time I specified. Looks like the do a brisk take out business, there were more of those than patrons in the small (very small) dining room. Pizza was sauced with crushed tomatoes and thankfully savory not sweet. Crust was thin and chewy, nicely charred, good lift, even though it was thin. Toppings were fresh, still slightly crunchy. Had I known there was a $14.99 deal for a 3-topping 16" Large, I would have refrained from my 4th, but now you know and won't repeat my mistake. read more

Another disappointing visit ... won't be coming back ... first person in our party to get their two slices of pizza were very burnt on the bottom and had to be sent back...I ordered a calzone with two toppings (inside ingredients) paid extra for one of them ... asked for tomato and the seasoned beef... I was expecting seasoned ground beef but there was some kind of sliced meat in it that looked like gray pressed meat of some kind but had no flavor and was a weird texture... i had to search for the little bit of tomato inside... but the most disappointing thing was the ricotta which i found no evidence of!... just lots of stringy mozzarella... the ricotta is the best part of a good calzone (IMO)... What's that saying? Oh yea. U have one job. ONE job! And that's making pizzas correctly. Talk about a horrible experience with mistake after mistake after mistake. First. We call to order delivery. We're about 35 mins away from home. We ask how long it takes for delivery and she tells us 45 mins. We say great, we won't be home for about 35. We give her our order and hang up. 25 mins later the delivery driver calls asking why we're not answering the door. Um because you're 20 mins early and we told her we wouldn't be home for 35? So he was nice enough to wait. We get home and he vents about how the girl was just messing with him cause he was on the way home and wanted him to get stuck. That he already called and reamed her out. And continued to jovially vent about his coworkers. Um ok. So we get inside only to find that they had given us the completely wrong pizzas. Again. ONE job! We ordered 2 large pies. One plain well done and one with mushrooms and peppers. What did we find? One pepperoni well done and one mushroom. Where in the heck did they get pepperoni?!?! Oh and to make it worse we look at the pre printed order labels they put on the boxes and those said something different then that! So not only did she enter our order wrong but the person putting the pizzas in the boxes got that wrong too! So we call up and they say sorry, we can't fix ur order but we will give u credit for one pie. Seriously?!?! It's not 945 at night. Most places are closed and it wasn't our mistake. Finally spoke to a manager who apologized and sent someone out with a new pizza. Half hour later they arrive with a cheese pizza. They hand it over and almost an entire quarter of the box looks wet. I take the box and something drips on my shirt. That's when I notice it's grease. What?! So I rush the box to the sick cause it's dripping that badly and hear the driver drive off. I open the box to find what looks like someone poured a quart of vegetable oil in the box!!!! It's not coming from the pizza. It's like they dropped the corner of the box in a fryer vat and decided to deliver it anyway. So here we are, for $30, with one wrong pizza with burnt edges that we decided to just eat anyway, another covered in meat (which we don't eat), and a replacement pie smothered and dripping in a mystery liquid?! I mean how do u get an order for a plain cheese pie wrong twice?!?! One job people. You have one job. And for one customer, who is a repeat customer (though never gets delivery), you complete screwed up three different pizzas. Smh. And people wonder why small businesses go under. read more

DELISH!! People, you must try this pizza. This is a small joint tucked into a little building off of Hoffner and Orange behind 7-11. The pizza is fantastic! The crust is wonderful and the ingredients fresh. This is our new go to place for pizza. It's a small place so best for take out or delivery, there is some limited seating though. Also, the salads are wonderful! I've tried the antipasto salad and the spinach bacon salad. So good! The ingredients, like the pizza, are fresh and tasty. Really impressive for a small pizza place, unlike any others around. One last note: try the fried oreos for dessert. YUM! read more
