Family night out and decided to stop to grab my favorite pizza before some fun out and about. We ordered 3 small ( 4 slice) pizzas : notorious PIG but I removed the meat , extra cheese pizza and a Detroit pizza . We sat down and enjoyed some cold German beer with our pizza and the little one enjoyed a lemonade . The staff remembered me and hung out a bit talking football for a bit. If you are near Sodo and want some really good food, try so dough or tin and taco that share space! It's such a chill vibe and one of my favorite places. read more

SoDough shares seating area with tin and taco which is helpful plus you can get drinks from tin and taco too which means all the cool canned local-ish beers and ciders. The staff was really great because we were meeting my mom and she got there early and they let her take her drink without paying and wait on us. They just trusted her to pay when we ordered our pizza. I appreciated that. This square Detroit style pizza actually really appealed to me and I tend to be a Chicago pizza snob so I'm glad I went in open minded. We tried two different pies and I would have them both again. We ordered the chicken bacon ranch 4 square, and the large Detroit rob city. The Rob city was delicious. We ate in and we had 4 little kids and 4 adults. Our friends ordered a different chicken and a margarita. You can easily share a 4 square between two adults with how big the pizzas are. We ordered soda from the taco place and that place had a large selection of IPA's (I think that's what they were) so you can get different drinks ordering from there. We had one issue with the chicken bacon ranch pizza and the employees were incredibly on top of it- like customer service was 5 stars. I would frequent this business purely because of how well they handled it- but they have that AND good food! Inside, it's rustic-esque. Nice for kids to have room and a lot of seating. I can imagine parking can be crazy when it's busy as it's in a small strip plaza. We unfortunately don't live near but we were visiting the Orlando science center and our friends wanted to come here. I got the Motown supreme and it was obvious they didn't cook the toppings at the same time as the pizza. The peppers,onion, and large pieces of mushroom were falling off every slice. My prior orders have had mistakes with the either the pizza, the salad missing the side of dressing, the cheesy bread missing the side of marinara. Just made my first visit to Soto Square absolutely worth the drive from the airport easy to find and the service was extremely fast after you ordered it off a digital pad. The ambience was a cool sit down and wait for them to bring out your pizza . They do have beer by the can in the cooler which has a really cool selection and some great sodas that are local favorites from the soda dispenser. Also loved how they share the space with the taco stand next-door which while we waited for the pizza we had a taco appetizer, which is a bonus review highly recommend trying their Carnitas taco with the mango sauce. Absolutely delicious. We ordered two different pizzas, both absolutely succulent and juicy and full of flavor exploding in your mouth cooked to perfection I also had a Caesar salad for seven dollars and it was fresh vibrant and perfect before the pizza arrived. Highly recommend this place. It's everything customers are saying pretty clean in both areas of the restaurant and I'm sure it's very packed on the weekends as we went during the week, hope you enjoy this place. I ordered a Greek salad with a garden pizza which means the toppings were veggies. The service was great and I can order at a kiosk and not at the register. The pizza was tasty and a little soggy cause it came right out of the oven into my car. I loved the Greek salad there and the design of the place was nice too. SoDough never does me wrong. Every time I am in downtown Orlando, I consider stopping here for pizza. I always buy two small pizzas so I can save some for later - the portion sizing is perfect. This is the pizza I picture when I think of Detroit style - crispy cheesy edges with a soft and chewy middle. The ingredients always taste fresh and flavorful and they never skimp on toppings. I've been hearing about SoDough Square forever as one of the best pizza places in Orlando... And now that I've been there, I absolutely agree. This Detroit-style pizza is a crowd favorite, and for good reason. It lives up to every ounce of the hype, and gets all of the praise they deserve! The parking situation was easy-peasy (free and in front of the restaurant), but we also went at an odd hour during the day when it wasn't crowded. The restaurant shares a space/dining room with its adjacent taco restaurant (which was also good- we ordered the "trio" of salsa, guacamole, and queso with chips). We used the digital screen to order everything for our order. We purchased a large Detroit Rob City pizza and an order of Detroit Dough Dots. I opted for soda from the taco place, as they had a "Stubborn" fountain soda machine- which I loveeeee. Mixing the vanilla cream soda + cola= a winner. We grabbed a number for the table and they brought the pizza to our table maybe 10-12 minutes later. The goods! 1) Detroit Rob City (large)- I. Loved. This. So. Much. The hot honey. The little pepperonis. The perfect swirls of whipped ricotta. The delightful, golden brown, crispy and crunchy crust. This was absolute heaven. I ordered light tomato sauce, and I feel like that was a good decision. My oh my. This pizza fed my mom and me for 3 days (I ordered a large and had zero clue that this pizza was MASSIVE). This was love. Next time, I'm going to order more hot honey on the side because I couldn't get enough of it! I dream of this pizza. 2) Detroit Dough Dots- made with the same dough they use for the pizza! The dough bites are covered in cinnamon sugar and are served with a side of Nutella. The bites were yummy. Nothing out of this world, but it was a pretty big, shareable portion for the price. I'd order this again. Overall, this pizza was a 10/10. That crust was out of this world. Ordered SoDough Square Pizza for pickup and I've got to say , it did not disappoint. By the time we got home and opened the boxes, everything was still hot and fresh, which already put it off to a great start. The Detroit-style pie was incredible, easily the best Detroit-style pizza I've had in Orlando. The crust had that perfect crispy, caramelized edge while still being light and fluffy inside. Every bite was packed with flavor. We also ordered the buffalo wings. They were good, but honestly they didn't stand out nearly as much as the pizza. If you're deciding where to focus your order, the pie is definitely the star of the show. And whatever you do, do not skip the donuts. My husband is from Detroit, so we were so excited to check out @sodoughsquare and try their famous Detroit-style pizza! Found this spot for my daughter's birthday and we were all happy. The dough is nice and chewy with crispy and gooey cheese on the edges. Custom pies all look great but we went with the enforcer and it was great. The sausage had great flavor without being too salty. They're connected to Tin & Taco for seating which is fun and easy if your group wants to do a mix and match of foods. Very clean inside with staff coming around pretty regularly to make sure you have what you need. This felt like a little something extra since they can't really see you from their counter so they're staying on their feet. First off this pizza place shares a dining area with a taco place. When you go in through the doors for the pizza place, you have to self order. And grab a number. Once you grab a number you need to go to the dining table area and just pick a spot. If you want to order tacos or other drinks, you're welcome to do that from the other side. I think both businesses shared at this common area. When you order your pizza is through a self order iPad system. It is very detailed in case you want to switch out an ingredient or have allergies or what not. Back to food. This is my first taste of the Detroit style pizza. And I loved it. I had the PBJ. Small size / 4 square pieces. Which is their version of a pineapple pizza, but I crossed out the jalapeños. It had an amazing dough and topping ratio. Crispy crust edges. And delivered it in a very cute box with reheat instructions on the side. It also tastes amazing if you decide to eat it cold just not as crispy. We also ordered their garlic sky wings. It's super crispy and juicy. But go for the pizza. Don't get a small size get the large size. Leftovers are amazing. I don't know why I got the small size. That was my mistake. Haha. I ordered the Detroit Rob City Pizza and added olives--unlike many places that charge extra and barely add any toppings, they absolutely give you your money's worth here. Every bite was loaded and flavorful. The Detroit Rob City Pizza was amazing: the pepperoni and sausage paired perfectly with the sweet hot honey and creamy ricotta. And of course, the iconic crunchy square crust was everything you want from Detroit-style pizza--crispy, chewy, and satisfying. Service was just as great as the food. SoDough Square is a delightful hole and n the wall pizzeria. I've wanted to visit for several months and finally had an opportunity to do so. It was a grand experience! We placed our order at a self service kiosk and took a seat in a common dining room shared with Tin and Taco. My party of two ordered cheesy garlic bread and a cheese pizza. (Yes; The pizza had another name on the menu but it was a Detroit style cheese pizza so that is what I am calling it!) Cheesy garlic bread was a revelation. Brilliant seasoning, awesome cheese, and crispy crust. It could easily have passed as a white pizza. Call it what you will, you will not find a better garlic bread in Florida. Pizza was flavorful and the flavor lingers well. Sauce is slightly sweeter than I would have made it, but still quite good. Cheese is excellent and the crust and seasoning are the stars. Until today, there were only two excellent pizza parlors in Orlando (Sal's in Dr. Phillip's and Antica in Altamonte Springs). Add SoDough to that list! read more

SoDough Square is delicious! It is definitely a unique type of pizza (Detroit-style), so not my go-to every time I was a slice... but when I am in the mood, it hits sooo good! The pizza is loaded with flavor and with so many great flavor combos to choose from. The slices are definitely on the heavier side, but that just makes them perfect for sharing (or saving leftovers for later). I've only ever done take-out and the process has always been smooth and efficient. My order is always ready on time and exactly as expected, which makes it super convenient. We ordered a small T& T Taco Pizza with taco meat, lettuce, tomato, sour cream and crushed Doritos ($15.99) and a small Detroit Rob City with pepperoni, sausage, ricotta cheese and hot honey ($15.99). Found this place while in Orlando. Super Bowl Sunday was taking place and there's nothing like pizza and wings on a football day. I wanted Detroit style pizza as the it's my favorite with the thicker crust and crunchiness, along with a great dose of cheese and pepperoni and hot honey. I did the order online approach because waiting can take a bit for pizza (usually in general). When I arrived, they greeted me but turned their backs so they can finish their conversation. Another person asked "are you picking up?" The female says "oh my mad. I thought you were placing an order." My order was in the warmer waiting. The wait time for less than 1-2 minutes inside. No other interaction with the associates. The place looks clean and the atmosphere is nice. If you want there, you actually eat next door at tin & taco. On the one hand I want to give them 1 star because their BBQ chicken pizza says "tangy bbq sauce." What it should say is mustard based BBQ sauce that is 99% mustard.
