From when we walked into the Stone Lounge the GM/ Bartender (Kasey) treated my family as if we were the help that should have been out back. My wife and I proudly service this country in the Army for 15 years and counting and never once in our travels have we seen such poor treatment to people of color until this place. I recently went to Stone on a Saturday night for my birthday party. We rented a medium-sized private karaoke room. Reservation/check-in: We were helped promptly and the front of house staff were very friendly. Service: Our hostess was very attentive and checked on us frequently. We arrived a few minutes late to our room, but she let us stay 15 minutes later to compensate. Room: Talk about luxurious! The sound system was great, good song selection and I liked that most songs had the original music video to sing along to. Loved the disco balls and changing lights! Food/drinks: we did not order food, so I can't speak to that. The drinks were so-so, but the overall experience made up for this. I love to karaoke and this was a super fun experience! I won't go there anymore! The worst service I've known. The environment is bad, and service staffs are rude and so impolite! One of our friend sit at the bar waiting for a room which should be ready in minutes but was told the seat is for bar customers, and there were no new customer coming into the bar. Very limited on English songs, the song selection was very weak. Everything is over priced, tell me why we got charged for gratuity when one of the mics didn't work and we had to run to get the server to change the mic. The server knew but never came back to change it. Their sound system is terrible as well, you can hear vocals noise in the back ground and very little bass comes out from their speakers. They charged service fee, and you will get the worst service and attitude. Totally not worth it. Never coming back here again, there are other places that have a more reasonable price and good services in Bellevue. read more

Brand new luxury Karaoke Lounge with full bar services and food! This place is amazing, we been hearing about this plaza we're going to have an ultra lounge like this and today is the first day of opening! Service is out standing, when asking about things they didn't know they would find the information and get back to you. They kept the water and soda filled and my girlfriend totally love the Long Island ice tea they made. The first time our friend booked for her husband's birthday party. When we arrived, the waitress said there isn't a reservation for us, and there was no space. We had to change to another place - which is way better than this one!!! The next time I was there, turned out to be the worst karaoke experience that I had in Seattle area. We brought milk teas from across street, the waiter told us to take them to our car, or throw them away. I said I will do that in a few minutes, then one or two minutes later, he brought another waitress saying the same thing to us, this time offered to save the drinks in their fridge, so we did that.(but didn't remember to bring them with us afterwards of course). the sound system is not so good, it started to make noise constantly. We asked the waiter to fix it, he said it is totally normal with the mic, and there was nothing he can do. We waited a while and one of the mics was just not working and kept making noise. So we asked him to fix it again. We had to go out and grab him in the bar. This time he finally start to fix it. But we felt there was a good deal of time wasted. The room was really cold, and the waiter refused to do anything about it, because it's a central A/C system. There is a $7 minimum charge per person on top of the $80/hr for the room, which is over priced. AND there is a 25% service charge, although the service is really really bad. We were not all ordering drinks, and there wasn't water served until one of us finally asked. In general, I'll never come back to this place, and will tell everyone I know not to as well. read more

Recently I had a birthday party there. The service is descent but the room got very warm and no one came by to adjust the temperature. For a medium size room, more than 10 is very tight. Beware, the automatically add 30% tip to my bill. I asked the owner and he said I can't change it since I'm using a Groupon. It said that I will be charged 18% for more than 12 people. We recently had a big group out on the town and we decided we wanted to do Karaoke. We usually go to Rock Box in downtown Seattle (which I highly recommend), but wanted to try something a little closer to home and so we took a risk and went to Stone Lounge. What a disappointment! They didn't have a lot of popular (albeit older) songs on their playlists. What Karaoke bar doesn't have Stone Temple Pilots or ACDC? The answer is this one. At the least they should have the top 100 bands of all time with their best of albums. We also couldn't get a drink to save our lives, or keep our buzzes going. It took us 20+ minutes to get drinks while paying 100's of dollars on a room to sing in with barely any songs. I would not recommend that anyone go here until they upgrade their playlists and their service. read more

First experience, good - second experience, bad. I went to birthday party on a Sunday afternoon and had a good experience. Good food & drinks and great fun with friends. For this reason, I decided to book a room for my daughter's 39th birthday on a Friday from 6pm to 8pm. Every time someone tried to order a drink, they didn't have something... NO red wine, no cranberry juice, no grapefruit juice, no mango. Mind you, all of these things are on the menu as ingredients in their specialty cocktails. There was one waitress and one bartender on duty and our service was not good. Very spotty and inconsistent. We were really disappointed. We still had fun singing, of course, but they charge WAAAY too much for poor service and missing ingredients! read more

It was my friends birthday on a Friday night so we decided to hit up Stone because I work in Bellevue and had heard many great things about this place. First I will point out the best parts of this place. 1. The private karaoke was amazing. It was like being at home but with servers :) 2. The live funk band was great it warmed us up to wanting to sing karaoke 3. I made the reservation at 1pm the same day and had no issues when we arrived 4. Our waitress was friendly, patient and attentive. I really hope we tipped her well (after a few drinks I can never remember) The down sides were 1. Not enough good options for sushi on the menu (we ordered a $17 roll and the rice was still hot so the so it fell apart when we dipped it into soy sauce.) 2. There is a beautiful red carpet and backdrop entry way and we asked the hostess to take our pictures she was took them so far away that they are out of focus and this back drop is the best photo. I suggest a Polaroid or a selfie stick to lets guest use to take advantage of this awesome entry. I went to the grand opening last night and it was so much fun! The food was killer, the drinks were strong, the staff was friendly without feeling like they checked in too often, and of course the karaoke was amazing! First off, the rooms are absolutely gorgeous and comfortable while still feeling really upscale. The TVs in each room are enormous, and the touch screen for the karaoke is packed full of songs! One thing that I haven't seen at any other karaoke bar I've been to around here is the fact that they play music videos with lyrics on the screen. Much more exciting than a black (or if you're lucky, blue) background and plain lyrics. The system allows you to easily swap between the original track and the instrumental, just in case you get in over your head with a song, I enjoyed that feature. There are a few different sizes of rooms, I can't wait to rent out the big one for my birthday! The food and drinks were awesome, we had the beef sliders and the barbecue pork buns. Both were delicious and I want to try the rest of the menu next time. :) The drinks were strong and they had a large variety of top shelf spirits, wine and beer. Next time I think I might try the bottle service. Everyone that I encountered last night seemed genuinely excited to be there. From security to the waitstaff and valets, everyone that I met was friendly without the feeling of hovering. One of the WORST customer service experiences I've come across. My boyfriend and I were the only two seated in the bar and it took over 5 minutes to get water. Then another 7 to get a glass of wine and a beer. Then almost 20 to get our food, the fries were cold and had to be sent back. My glass of wine was maybe 5 oz and was $10. A gf of mine suggested several of us meet here for Happy Hour after work. I admit I was hesitant to come after reading the mediocre and unhappy reviews. I was expecting rude servers and terrible service. WRONG! We were there for drinks and food and were not disappointed in the least. Josh was our server and bartender. He was simply amazing. Our food was served immediately. Hot foods hot and salads cold. Our drinks? DELISH! We were open to suggestions... Gin or vodka. He concoctions were dynamite! He even came up with a rum and kale drink that was tasty. Horrible customer service! We rented a room for two hours. It took the waiter at least 15 minutes to set up the equipment and explain how to use it. Most of the stuff was either in Koren or Chinese. They did not have a very good selection of songs. The microphones smelled like bad breath and the couches in the rooms where very uncomfortable. They also only checked in once with us while we were there and we were trying to place an order but they never came. We also never go refills on our drinks! However we where charged an auto gratuity for the bad service! I will never go back there!!!!! read more

What should've been a great night of celebration quickly turned into night that ended with anger and frustration. Stay away from Stone lounge. After getting a private room, myself and 8 others (mostly Black) we're enjoying karaoke finishing up the night when the waitress Kaelan (who only dropped our bill off 5 minutes prior) returns with 3 security guards who come in and tell us to pay our bill their closing. We're all stunned. Frustrated, angered and annoyed I learned that Kaelan went and told security our group wasn't paying our bill. I believe race did play a factor in this treatment and lends to my decision to no longer patronize this establishment! read more

I'm not much of a Karaoke person, so I was expecting to not really have a good time, but I had a blast here! The Bartenders and servers were all very nice and friendly, I felt like my group and I were definitely well taken care of. The bar and lounge area have an awesome atmosphere, and the private rooms are fantastic! Unfortunately at the end of the night I lost my Credit Card, but Huge thanks to the staff who found it and to Raymond for being so on top of it and not only finding it, but offering to drop it off or mail it to me. Came here to celebrate a birthday. We had a group of about 20 people and reserved a room for karaoke. The place seemed cool at first until it was time to order our food and drinks. Every server that came into our room never once smiled and had an attitude. I'm also a server so I know how tedious it can be to have a very large party. So I let it go. Later on, I told my mom that the birthday cake we brought had to be refrigerated, so she went out to find a server at the bar. She asked a girl if she could refrigerate our cake and she responded, "your server will take care of it." And she pointed to our server who was only a few feet away from her, on the computer - who should've obviously heard her but she didn't turn around and acknowledge my mom. When she finally did, she said she would take the cake. My mom left to use the restroom and when she came back, she saw the cake sitting at the bar with no servers to be found. The food was actually pretty good but wayyyy overpriced. My boyfriend and I ordered 2 burgers and 1 drink and paid over $50 because gratuity was automatically added to our tab. This place has such potential but too bad customer service is terrible. I will not be coming back or recommending this place to anyone. read more

We kept her busy but she stayed on top of everything and had a great attitude. Also, they put up a Birthday sign and balloons, which was a great surprise. The price was decent. $80 per hour for 15 people and they bring food and drinks to you. I'm giving 4 stars because some of the food wasn't great and it was HOT!! We had to keep the door propped open because we were all starting to sweat. It wasn't ideal because other people walking by could hear us and I'm sure they weren't thrilled about it either. To be honest I've given this place multiple chances because the venue is really nice and the karaoke rooms are quality. However I've had nothing but bad service experiences on all occasions, I'll mention two. First, I decided to host my friends birthday in one of the large karaoke rooms. I called ahead to confirm my reservation based on the few special conditions I had made. From the moment we walked in to the time we left the bouncers to the manager treated us like trash. It was a super unsettling and unprofessional situation, I swore I would never be back. Fast forward a few months later, I decide to give them another try with a few friends. I ordered the pear bacon Gorgonzola flatbread and specifically requested no meat. When the plate came, because of the darkness in the room, I asked for confirmation about no meat again...she cut me off to assure me there wasn't. I took a bite a few minutes later only to taste the bacon, it's been years since I last ate meat. I am sick of the inattentive service at this place. Both times I spent over a $150 dollars and would expect some quality of service. Honestly stone lounge, y'all need to do A LOT better. Good burgers but extremely poor service. I came here to enjoy a casual meal with my Dad and Brother. Our server came to take our order and our food was made in a reasonable amoint of time. After our food was dropped off, we were not offered more water, drinks or condiments for over an hour even though we were one of two parties in the dining room. I just want to start that if it weren't for the professionalism of the hosts (not the servers) and room being as good as advertised this wouldn't be a 4 star. Reservations: 4 stars: I went to Stone this last Friday for my first private karaoke room experience. I decided on a weeks notice to have my birthday party here and there were plenty of reservations. I was a little suspicious of this but for the price of the Amazon Local deal ($49 pre hour and $25 worth of food credit) I thought it'd probably be worth it. Check-in: 4-stars, I arrived and they had my name and were ready for me to check in. This was a nice relief as sometimes there's confusion upon checking in for anything. We were early so we decided to wait in the general area and it was a nice environment that was open so you could people watch if you wanted. Food: 2 stars, They had recently changed their menu and not mentioned that when I made my reservation (less than one week before). The old menu had a lot of choices of bar foods/sliders/cheese trays which I was really looking forward to to snack on and share as a group. Now it's mostly sushi which I love but not what I wanted and a couple people with me really don't like it. It was a little overpriced (unlike their old menu that was on point with eastside pricing) but everyone who ordered it seemed to be okay with the quality. Drinks: 3 stars, Average but everyone seemed to enjoy these as well. The Room: 5 stars, We had a fantastic time being silly with no one judging us on our private jokes and loud group songs. It was absolutely what I expected but even more private. Loved that. The system was touch screen with two microphones, pretty user friendly and was much larger in person. Check-out: 4 stars, Early on we established who was paying separately. They kept track just fine. Gratuity is already added onto the check which is fine as it's become common practice but when I presented my voucher I think the girl was factoring that they can't charge gratuity on gift certificates and such. She probably made $100 in tips from my group in 2 hours and was still expecting more. There was very little customer service from our server and she was rude and non-interested most of the time. I read the comments on this establishment to prepare and felt like some were surface complaints that could be worked around but when it's you it's more frustrating than expected.
