I moved into Stone Ridge in September of 2017. Thanks to one of their wonderful leasing agents, Tessalonia, who helped me get an apartment in the complex so I could move into my own place versus living with family. Everyone on staff has been kind, patient and professional. I love my apartment. I only have 1 drawback, if you consider this to be a drawback, and that's not having a washer/dryer in my unit. This would be an awesome feature to have in the units. The washroom is very close to my apartment though and has more than 1 washer/dryer to use. They work hard to keep the grounds clean, snow shoveled, etc. Overall I like the complex and staff. I love my apartment. read more

Please do yourself a favor and do not move into stone ridge. Zero fucks will be giving toward any situation you encounter. The entire leasing staff (aside from signing you up to move in) will give zero care toward anything after that transaction! A few maintenance team member's are cool AF but again they're hands are tied by the Edward rose monster behind them saving money. I've been with out air conditioning for 4 weeks and my house it's between 80-90 degrees with a family of 5. I've put requests in with the leasing office 3-4 times for routine fixes and still not had them completed. I can't say enough negative stuff about this place so I'll stop there! Nooooooooooooo! I live here in 2020 with my best friend and It was the actual worst. Shit was broke. 24/7 no management company would come for a day or so and still never fixed the bathroom. Had packages stolen off our front steps and the front desk women did nothing but argue with me and call me names women could literally barely speak english. for 1.2 k a month i wouldn't recommend this place to a stray dog read more

I wish I would have looked more into reviews into this place. Everyone in the office is great and so is Maintenance. We just moved in a month ago, and even knowing the place was "cleaned" there were places that they totally missed, and no one had been around to do anything that we have been missing. Dishwasher isn't cleaned at all, has crap all around the steal and in the vent looking thing on the top. We don't have a bathroom rack at all since it looks like they just redid the bathroom, we have a finger size whole in the wall behind the master bedroom door. Besides those things we have been dealing with music or load stereo system playing a big Bass sound, when it's past 11pm. The sound the best way I can describe it is bleeding ears. It's so deep in a bass tone that it can't even pick up on a video recording. Office told us they can't do anything since they are residents and they pay rent. Well so do I, it's bad to the point I feel like I'm competing to hear my own tv. Like just after a month unless something changes I don't want to lease again after this is done. read more

I am bragging on a maintenance employee by the name of Vel. My toilet started to leak in my apartment in the Stone Ridge/Wixom complex Friday evening. I put in an emergency call to have it fixed. I didn't want to clean up leaking water all night and I was concerned about the resident living under me. Vel answered my call. This young man was professional, kind and did a great job in fixing the leak in an efficient manner. Vel is a great rep for Stone Ridge/Wixom. They need to make sure they retain him as a staff member. read more

Basement apartments are not worth the low cost, and should probably be lower. Even with sealed windows, the bugs and drafts are ridiculous. Plumbing is nowhere near up to code, which they did fix in my apartment when I brought it up, but I'm sure it's not the only thing that's not up to par and will remain that way until someone else that knows what they're doing steps in. Had a crack in the foundation of my bedroom that maintenance "fixed" and about a year later, my bedroom floor was sopping wet. When they came back to inspect it, I was told the glue was not properly applied and they would take it all down, dry it out, and fix it again. We'll see. When the drywall came off, there was mold on the wall and floor, as pictured. Property manager says it wasn't tested, so it's not confirmed that the discoloration was actually mold, and they are responsible for fixing the damage, not for any compensation of health hazards. Shortly after, I started having raw sewage come up my kitchen drain. Three separate work orders were filed, all requiring several visits each. Maintenance said it looks like a mainline issue that they would need an actual plumber for. A real plumber never stepped foot on the premises. My drain was snaked and claimed to be fixed all three times. I'm sure the third time was different. Since it was "fixed in a timely manner" each time I reported an issue, once again Stone Ridge is not responsible for the health hazards this has caused. I will be calling the city to request some inspections for sure. I'm pretty disgusted and am very much looking forward to the end of my lease. read more

Maintenance is extremely responsive, great staff, feel very comfortable with everyone. The type of place where the staff becomes a second family... well, at least the red-headed step child you tolerate but ultimately wouldn't replace. Great place to live!!!! read more

I lived at Stone Ridge from 2016-2018.I resisted writing a review until today when I received a bill one month after moving out. So here it is...I had a third floor apartment and there was not a thing my neighbors did I couldn't hear. In the first month I lived there I slept very little, the police were there a few times due to noise complaints (having not been the one to call I know this is not an issue only I encountered) The grounds aren't kept very clean, cigarette butts and trash were left in the corridors constantly, management leaves notes but nothing changed in the time I was there. The lots were never plowed on time, maintenance requests can take up several days, etc. I wasn't one to complain because whatever, it's not like I'm paying all that much. It's an apartment I expect much of this. What I did not expect was to have to live with mold in my living room for three weeks (we're talking 2 ft by 2 ft of mold). Their solution? a bucket and a bag over it because "contractors take time" I understand contractors take time, (Keep in mind, it's not that they were OFFERING -I asked- any sort of compensation in the mean time, or to supply cleaner.. I went out..bought the initial tarp to cover it and the bleach to clean it) but somehow the leak, the mold, the bucket, the constant dripping weren't the worst part about the situation. It was their complete lack of care and every time they fixed one thing, they made something much worse. When the leak occurred and I called, the men came..poked three holes in my ceiling and left, for three days nothing else happened until I called again because water was sprinkling into the living room. Some compound was left outside my front door for a week until I asked it be taken care of. When I first asked they clean up the mold.. my carpet was left bleached because they couldn't be bothered to cover up the floor before putting it on the ceiling. I brought this to their attention and they came and put a new patch of carpet in it's place. Then upon replacing the part of my roof which needed to be repaired the absolute worst patch job (again they did NOT cover floor/wall normal parts any contractor should cover) so bad in fact, my wall had to be completely re-painted in the place. They sanded and I came home to dust everywhere, all over my belongings, zero, absolute zero attempt top respect my belongings, I actually had to call the office and ask that they come vacuum the mess up. Literally people, a tarp..if you care about your own carpet so much..ask that your workers do their part in that as well. I have all of the voicemails, photos, work orders documenting this as I had anticipated I would be charged for carpet damages upon moving out..and of course..I did! For "pet stains" In the time I was there however, I paid $250 non-refundable pet deposit (the norm for an apt, no complaints) and also $50 a month for my cats, totally $1,450. I can assure you, I left no stains. I have photos from the day I moved out. This may just seem like one person's rage story but in my mind, a tenant who pays rent on time, doesn't call and complain and respects the property shouldn't be made to felt like they've done something wrong on top of having to pay them already to live in sub par living conditions for almost a month. You can expect your paying tenants to live in unhealthy living environments and then charge them for your mistakes? That's simply not okay. The fact that they would think it is speaks volumes of Edward Rose's business ethics. read more

I don't usually leave a review, but for this time i feel like i should. I've been living in stone ridge apartment for a month. To be honest ,everything is so perfect than i expected. Especially Bosia, working at the office of this apartment, is the kindest person i have ever met. This is my first time moving of my life so i had a lot of questions, she helped me out in many ways and gave all the details i concerned. Good location, kind neighbors and nature friendly environment. More over, rent is fair. If you are looking for the place to move, Stone ridge apt is going to be the right answer for you. read more

Like living here love Anna she is a ground person who is very friendly and looks always happy to be at work even when she is having a ruff time. Rich is a good kid haven't talk to him much he get his work done. I been here for 7 years and like it here they are on top of stuff and the manager is really cool I think her name is Jennifer or Jessica like the staff there some have a hard time understanding me when talk but for the most part the get what I'm saying. read more

Trust me, DO NOT LIVE HERE!! Sure they are cheap, they have to be. The people that work for Edward Rose (the parent company) are terrible. I thought that it was just one or two people that are rude and inconsiderate. I was wrong. It must be a company culture. I had four different people treat me like complete garbage and yell/interrupt me while I was trying to get answers to simple questions. If you are even considering living elsewhere, PLEASE DO IT. You will save yourself an unknowable amount of stress. From my experience, they care very little about their tenants and their actions prove it. They have thousands of units and freely let their tenants know they couldn't care less about them. If you want trouble every step of the rental process, choose Stone Ridge/Edward Rose. read more

Tess in the office is the only reason this place even deserves 3 stars, she is a phenomenal human being. She answers any and all questions you have when you call and gives you the correct information, unlike the other half of the office staff. She is very polite and understanding to every situation going on, especially when it comes to maintenance issues. If she tells you she is going to do something, it's going to get done and it's going to get done right away. Otherwise, the apartments are small, old, cracking, and leaking. The furnace and air conditioning units are both older than I am, the balcony looks like it will fall off the building at any moment, and I wouldn't trust the banner for the staircases with my life. read more

He was so kind and professional. When i told him the problem i was having he was happy to help me. he showed me step by step on how he fixed the problem and was very understanding and helpful. i want to say thank you so much for helping me. I love my apartment and the staff ! I had a few question regarding a new lease Tess answered all of them and gave me a free carpet cleaning! I just signed a new lease and excited about it. I love the area. Shopping stores are very close, the grounds are kept well, the pool is awesome! I had a small issue and maintenance came asap and fixed the problem!The apartment is on a smaller side but with all of the other great qualities the size doesn't matter. read more

I have been a tenant at Stone Ridge Apartments for over 4 years, and I would like to share my views about the apartment community. Firstly, I would like to say that the grounds staff take fantastic care of the property's grounds (for example the grounds staff are always trimming trees). The community's grounds are well-maintained throughout the whole year. During the winter months, snow removal and salting are excellent. Also, the Stone Ridge office staff is always looking out for the tenants. One instance in particular, I was going for a walk near the office, and I was suddenly needing assistance, and one of the office's employees saw that I was needing help and called rescue. They stayed with me until rescue arrived and this shows just how compassionate and warm they are with their tenants (they even followed up with a phone call to touch base with me). read more

We've lived here for 3 years. Have had major flooding issues, the foundation is literally falling apart everywhere in the house. None of the doors are properly sealed, even though I've complained on multiple occasions that we needed it fixed. I've now just given up on trying to get any repairs via maintenance through the apartments. They never call back. They never get in touch with you. And they never show up. Oh, sorry they've had two separate people come look at a major issue and take pics and have now waited 4 months to hear any sort of reply about a solution. Our carpet was brand new when we moved in but wasn't laid down correctly and just keep coming up and tearing everywhere and they said they'd only replace it if we ourselves with no help sat our stuff out in the snow so they can replace it. No moving truck or assistance offered. These apartments look presentable at first but it's all a cosmetic coverup of how screwed up it all is. Things started to fall apart quick and haven't stopped. Cannot wait to get out of here. Do not recommend. Not worth $720 a month. read more
