After 24 hours of our first review, we heard back from both Home Depot and Stone Systems. They set a date, unfortunately I was out of town. They weren't the most flexible with scheduling but was able to arrange to have someone home on the day they assigned. Where I was disappointed, Day/time couldn't be requested only a day and afternoon/morning slot was issued. Where I was pleasantly surprised, Brian the installer was fabulous! He was on time, did incredible work and cleaned up after himself. He was professional and a nice guy. Another person was with him, wish I could remember the name. Final product is something we are very happy with. It was a rough ride in the beginning but worked out in the end. Thanks Brian. read more

Please do not use this company. They missed their delivery window and when I finallly reached them -- because they did not call me -- they said the delivery truck broke down. Trying to call them was a futile effort and their customer service experience was unacceptable. I was placed in a queue that counted down the number of callers ahead of me. Once it reached zero, I was transferred to a "human agent" and then disconnected. I repeated this process four times, waiting approximately ten minutes on each call. I then placed two additional calls that were answered by an AI system that repeatedly said, "Hello... hello... I can't hear you... I can't hear you," before disconnecting me. This call center experience was completely disrespectful of customers. read more

Do not order countertops from the company thru Home Depot! Horrible company--did a seamless design even though we didn't ask for it which added extra days to quoting process, and cancelled appt during the install window due to installer calling out sick. If you try to call them, you are left in endless hold time even though system says that there are no callers ahead of you. I ordered countertops from lowes last year and it was an amazing experience. Company was super fast and professional even during last minute changes. Go there!!! read more

We learned about Stone Systems at Costco and went to them to select and install a counter top on our dining room in the Hamptons. They were always kind and courteous and attentive to feedback. The Consentino show room in Manhattan was very helpful both for the samples, examples of installation and coincidentally, the day ai stopped by we were pleased that as they had a Stone Systems person there and he could give us more ideas of combinations we could do (we already had a Dekton on the kitchen island and wanted to differentiate the dining room space. We ultimately went with their suggestion and could not be happier. The measurement and installation was flawless - the piece in our dining room looks like stone while having the benefits of Dekton as a surface. Their price was also reasonable, installation on time and the tech we worked with was punctual, detailed oriented, resulting in outstanding work. read more

Home Depot contract Stone Systems. they are awful and the work is sloppy. I bought a Dekton counter top and the installation is extremely bad. They were suppose to call to reconfirm appointments. Our first encounter was when they came to measure after the cabinets were put in by Alarcon Contractor LLC, in Dover NJ (973) 689-5226 and after 7 days, Stone Systems did a great job fitting our countertops. The 2 men who completed the job were professional and friendly. We love the end result. WARNING! Steer clear of STONE SYSTEMS! I would not have purchased my granite kitchen countertop from LOWES if I knew what a disaster it would turn out to be. LOWES contracted the job to a third party fabricator - Stone Systems - who created and installed my countertop and did an extremely shoddy job of it! I don't know why a reputable store such as LOWES is doing business with this place but they really need to stop. I purchased a granite countertop on January 23rd from LOWES. After many needless delays, it was finally installed nearly 3 months later. But the issue isn't the delay. In fact, there are SEVERAL issues! First, the job was a total shoddy one from the start - see photos: ---- The stone was carelessly cut with no regard for the pattern. Therefore, the pieces DO NOT BLEND AT THE SEAMS! ---- My sink had a soap dispenser. I asked that the granite be cut to ensure that the dispenser hole would be covered. It was not. So now there is a huge hole on my sink where the dispenser was! ---- They SWITCHED the stone slabs that I had picked out from their storage place and REPLACED it with an INFERIOR one that I had rejected due to it having RED SPATTTERS throughout. So basically, my countertop looks like someone SPLATTERED RED SAUCE all over it. --The Project Manager at Stone Systems is unwilling to rectify the situation to my satisfaction. I have stressed my issues with him and included photos as evidence of my claims. He was to speak to his "boss" and get back to me. It's been so much time since we last spoke on this issue and I'm still waiting to hear back. read more

To be fair, the countertops installed on the date they were to be installed are very well done - EXCEPT FOR THE SMALL PIECE THAT OUR CONTRACTOR WAS TOLD FELL OFF THE TRUCK! 12 days later and they were supposed to be here today to install this small piece. This time I was told that the piece did not get on the truck!!!!!!!!! Was told tomorrow (12/29) it would be installed. We will see what happens. Hope to never have to deal with them again. read more

Do not use! Stone Systems severely damaged my brand new wood floors by moving items they shouldn't have and doing so carelessly. What's worse, they blame the customer for their mistakes. As a women of color, I don't need their team of men to talk down to and belittle me. They continue to make excuses, stating that it didn't make sense for their team to move items without first speaking with me. If that's the case, why did their crew do exactly that? After carrying a bunch of items carelessly, they dropped it and dented my wood floors. After 2 weeks of explaining these damages, Stone Systems has yet to take responsibility. I witnessed them as they did this. Don't use unless you want your home damaged! Writing this review after another one of their managers talked down to me and said there's no way their team could have done this. Beware of this company for any installation. Their installers put a big hole in my kitchen wall, badly scraped a wall, and took off a large area of paint in a large area when installing a countertop. They did not repair or pay for the repairs necessary to fix what they screwed up. Terrible, unethical company. read more

Subcontractor for Lowes. Ordered and paid for my countertops April 2, 2019 and it is now May 14, 2019 still no countertops. I had to call the company myself to get a tech to come measure. DO NOT USE this company. communication is awful. Timeline is not adhered to. Told me stone was being cut then following week still had not arrived. Thus is after they give 4 hour window for template and show up 2 hours later. No countertops for 3+ weeks. Installers did shoddy work. Far more then a scratch, ripped out corner of wall. Just had counter tops installed and the results are less then the perfection they claim in their website. To begin customer service both in person and on the phone is horrible. Very short, rude tone, and an attitude of cant be bothered. Their business hours makes it extremely difficult for people with jobs and/or not local to come and choose a slab. Unfortunately, because of this, coupled with my husband being out of the country for his father's passing, we had to entrust stone-systems with choosing a slab for us. They did indeed choose a slab, but it's evident that the pieces they used for our counter tops did not come from the same slab of granite. In total we needed four pieces to form our counter top. Each piece is a slightly different color then the other. With two of the bigger sections being obviously different in color. I'm not sure if they inspected the pieces or even tried to match the color. Completely unacceptable that they would even send such mismatched pieces. Goes against the high standards of quality they promote on their website. We came to use this company as a sub contractor from Lowe's. I'm disappointed that Lowe's. read more

Home Depot used Stone System for my Quartz counter top and boy was I disappointed in the entire job.First of all, they have terrible customer service. They call to set up my first appointment and didn't show. When I called after taking the morning off of work and waiting hours, they tell me I didn't have an appointment which was total bull. Then, they call again and schedule an installation appt and after taking yet another morning off I call to see what time they were coming because I needed to get to work. Well guess what I didn't have an appt for installation becuase my counter top wasn't even done yet. So, they couldn't understand why the woman that called (Gloria) called me. But the best part of it all was when they did finally come. I received 3 pieces and all three piece were three different sizes. One was way too small, one was a little bit smaller. and the third was just perfect in size but one edge was not even completed. (rough edge). I asked the installing if this has ever happened and he tell me oh well this is the second one today. Going back and forth with the manager I explain that this was unexceptable. I took time off of work for this job. I had a contracter in my home that I had to pay for his time while he waited for this incompetent company to come and do their job correctly. After a cpl weeks that the job was finally completed I had a different manger call me to ask about my new counter top and he was well aware of all this issues I had. He tells me that he was very sorry and someone will call me soon to see about some kind of retribution. Well I am still waiting. I will never recommend this place. read more

Lowes uses this subcontractor. We were told that the countertop would be delivered 5-6 business days after the payment has been made. Payments were made on May 9th. So the countertop was to be delivered on around May 17th. Today is May 26th and the company said to expect it in 15 more days. This is ridiculous. This is so much more than 5/6 business days. Purchased Dekton countertop through Home Depot. Stone Systems in Passaic was contractor. Day of installation there was a leveling issue on cabinets that my husband needed to fix. Art & Paul left to do other jobs but returned and worked till 7 PM to finish installation. Professional, efficient we are so pleased. We highly recommend this company! read more
