I love this facility. Sonia is our favorite. We've only met with Dr. C once and it was quick but Sonia takes her time and really hears you. They are always very polite and helpful and understanding. If your kid (or you) need some help in this area....we all do at some point. Give them a try. Dr. Chowdhary has been my psychiatrist since 2020. The office staff is very helpful and the portal used allows me to upload documents needed for care. Most of my visits are virtual. On occasion, I have gone in person. Dr. Chowdhary also treats my son. We are both happy with her quality of care. read more

She has been my children's psychiatrist for several years. My kids have had a bit of a love/hate relationship with her over the years from children to adults. However, what they see is that she is an excellent doctor. She doesn't baby them. She gets right to the point and figures out what needs to done, both with the child and me, the parent. My kids have been through some really difficult things. Dr Chowdhary and her team (sometimes they see a Nurse Practitioner) have provided excellent care through some tough challenges. Every month I have to contact their office to get my son's prescription refilled correctly. They have refilled the wrong medication and refilled the wrong dosage of a medicine that is very difficult to get. Do not use this office unless you have time to constantly follow-up with them. read more

Reads the web chat as I wait for someone from the office to get back to me. The time stamp shows an hour and a half has passed since my original message which is proceeded with a request for anyone to acknowledge my request. It would seem that Beautiful minds is so abhorrently busy that they can't even be bothered reach out to inquiring potential patients who have heard good things of Dr Humera Chowdhary. Between myself and one other person, we have attempted to contact the office multiple times since the very beginnings of 2021 in vain hopes that this year would prove more positive than the previous. Alas, empty promises of a call back is made by the office staff every time and yet our phones remain hushed. "Surely they would tell us if they weren't accepting new patients, that would be the considerate thing to do!" I thought; but that foolish idea was squashed when I was informed that they were scheduling new patients a month out. "Great! I can deal with a month out as long as I can get it scheduled!" I replied, naïvely believing that this meant that actually making an appointment was actually possible. Here now I sit, filled with wavering hope that THIS time we would surely hear back from someone to sort things out. Phone calls can be difficult to follow up on when a business is busy, it can't hurt for me to be understanding. Sadly, the last message shown from the online chat merely reads "This is a confirmation that your message has been received. Someone from our office will respond to you shortly." as I near the 2nd hour of waiting. Maybe one day they will find the sticky note they had hastily scrawled our phone numbers on and call back. However I think it's more likely that volcanoes will erupt in cotton candy first. If you want to work with a doctors office that is communicative, then let this tale of non-fiction serve as a warning message to avoid Beautiful Minds Psychiatry. They won't call you back, and they won't respond to your message shortly. read more

This place is great, nice staff, welcoming, and helpful. They are great with working with your schedule too make sure you don't have any scheduling conflicts! The waiting area is very cozy, and dose not at all feel like a doctors office. It has plenty of nice magazines too read, as well as a couple of TVs. We recently moved to the area and so I was looking to get in with a local psychiatrist because I have been in treatment for anxiety for years. I called this office because of the positive reviews. The first time I called I had to leave a message. I left one but never heard back. The second time I called a woman answered who was so abrupt and rude and had this attitude like I was somehow putting her out to make her answer the phone. Well let me tell you: going to a doctor for any mental health issues is never easy, and it's never easy to change doctors, especially in a brand new town! This woman made me feel so y comfortable that I just said "you know what? Never mind I don't really like your tone of voice" and I called Primecare instead. Kept saying they would refill my sons prescription. They said it would take 24hrs. Were on day 3 and still nothing. I WILL see you Monday to get a paper prescription since you don't want to do what you say you will do. Very unhappy. This effects my sons school life and grades. read more

I have been seeing Dr. C for over 7 years and she is supportive and works with you to get it right. I drive over 20 miles on the hell highway (380) to see her since she stopped practicing in my town. They recently expanded their office and there's plenty of waiting room & funny kids' movies playing on the TV. The office staff is busy but friendly. Be prepared to fill out paperwork each time you go in. The only reason this place doesn't get 5 stars is because they don't offer evening/weekend appointments. read more

If I return a call you do not say "it wasn't me and put the caller on terminal hold listening to an annoying beep!" 2. When you get a call: say hello, thank you for calling beautiful minds my name is..., how can I help you? 3. When call has concluded: you say goodbye, have a nice day, ANYTHING! And wait a reasonable time for the caller to hang up! Don't hang up in their face!! 4. When new or preexisting client(s) make appointments...schedule them!! then you will not have to make outbound calls asking "the client" when is your appointment? Complete lack of empathy shown from the front desk. The first visit I had with my daughter involved a nearly 45 minute wait. I understand medical facilities run behind, but there was no explanation, and no apology either. The second visit I had was fine- we were seen on time and the practitioner was fine. The third visit I had was cancelled by the staff and rescheduled to another day. I completely forgot about the appointment (which I never- ever do especially for my children) and they're charging me a $35 fee. I'm appalled, and so upset. No one even called to give me a reminder the day before. Needless to say, I was understanding when they cancelled on me- but they showed zero empathy for me. I am paying the fee, but I will be taking my daughter elsewhere. read more

Sonia is awesome. She will listen to your symptoms and really talk with you about your options and medications. I had an allergic reaction to a med and she responded to my message within a day and saw me a week later. The office is a little small and the waiting room can get packed quick but other than that I highly recommend this place. read more
