Danas Dogs - Traveling to Dana's. Can't wait to get there!

I can't say enough good things about Dana's Dogs. Our Beagle LOVES to go and spend the night or…read morethe day playing with her friends. It's like going to camp for her. She is well fed and well loved during her stay. She has nap time to help rest up for the next outdoor play festival. (Don't know if she actually sleeps, but it is a chance for everyone to catch their breath.) She has a separate kennel for sleeping when she stays overnight. Her family pitches in with lots of cuddles, too. We have recently moved and think we may have found a place to take Gracie, but it's not nearly as much fun as Dana's. I will always enlist her services when we are in the area. I don't think there is a better place for Gracie.

We were not sure how Phoenix would do because he's never been to a dog sitter, I was nervous of the unknown, not of her abilities. We went and met her with Phoenix, and I was impressed with Dana. Phoenix had a wonderful time, she sent pictures throughout the weekend of him, he was very well taken care of and cared for, he got spoiled some more, made new friends, I cannot recommend Dana's enough! She and her family were awesome with Phoenix, and I loved seeing the pictures of him interacting with other dogs. Thankyou Dana's Dog Sitting and Boarding! Check them out on Facebook!

We took our older dog for a trial run and it went so well, that we decided to have him stay with Scheryl for two weeks over the winter holidays. When we picked him up, he looked better than when we dropped him off! Scheryl has several play-areas on her 10-acre farm; small dogs are separated from large ones and so on. The kennels are heated, large, and clean. She is professional and caring. Our dog is a part of our family. I stressed over the decision to leave him at a kennel for so long. I won't stress anymore. Starlite is the best!

Basically, getting my dog worked up repeatedly. * putting my dogs together in an outdoor kennel despite verbal and written requests to keep them in individual kennels and individual outdoor pens--for which I was paying full price per day per dog. At the time of pickup, she reported that she had disregarded my directions/requests. When I asked, exasperatedly, why (for the second or third time) she had overridden my instructions, she said, dismissively, "They're together at home. Why can't they be together here?" Turned out, the facility got crowded, so she just put my dogs into an outdoor kennel together to make room. That was the last time I used Starlite. There are less spacious but safer places to board my dogs.

They're a bit far, so we don't drop them off for short periods, but they've always taken the best care of our dogs while gone for extended periods. They've always given our meals to our dogs despite being more complicated than other dogs normally get. As long as they stay around, we'll always bring them here. And their Instagram stories show us how much fun our dogs are having while we're away. Always kindness from the hosts and good treatment to all.

Here at pooch palace they book maybe 2-3 months out, but have a fantastic place they are happy to show you. Dogs (multiple pups from the same family) can share a bedroom with a theme. Dogs must be approved and have a complimentary day beforehand. Some reasons we love here: 1. Someone is there 24/7. 2. No kennels. We do bring their beds and a couple favorite toys and food. You could do daycare or a longer stay. 3. They keep up on Instagram 5 days a week so you can see your pups! 4. They are very responsive. Of course I was nervous as it was the pups first time away from us for a week, so I called and even if they didn't answer right away they call back very soon. 5. Pups go outside a lot as weather allows. There are plenty of trees and dogs are divided into small and big dog areas. Ours became friends with a bull dog. 6. They do dog report cards. Only pups with all green marks can stay during the smaller amount of pups holiday times. Our alpha had a couple yellow marks as she can be loud on the playground! I'm glad they let us know. We love this place and will forever use them!
