Usually they pop up after like 10 seconds, but today seems to be an issue even tho I restarted my device and tried logging out and relogging back in. Tried both locations and lunch dinner combos. Idk Possibly need to plan ahead in case want to get lunch and be safe try doing it ahead of time before 1030 deadline In case of gliche u could probably still call and order manually with a live staff member. We have lived in Stoneridge Creek for 6 months. The first three months we were in a 1 bedrm apartment waiting to get into a 2 bedrm, 2 bathrm unit. There are many wonderful amenities and activities, including a health center when there is a need for skilled nursing, assisted living or memory care; however, residents pay high monthly fees for all these services, in addition to the hefty amount of money paid for the individual units -- something barely mentioned during the early marketing meetings. Overall, we've been pleased with our apartment and its courtyard view, even though there have been delays in refurbishing the inside. The staff, especially at the reception desk and in the dining room, are upbeat and positive influences for the residents. The meals and dining menus vary from excellent to reasonably good. Many residents have lived at SRC for over 10 years -- many are older and in declining health... though the population is changing as new residents arrive. The overall atmosphere is upbeat, cheerful and extremely safe. Volunteers are prevalent and the resident greeters/ambassadors do not hesitate to go above and beyond to make new residents feel welcomed! read more

I moved into Stoneridge Creek 8 months ago. It has been a really wonderful experience living here. I am very happy with the variety of activities, particularly the fitness programs. I have been working with Stoneridge Creek for the past few months as a senior move manager helping new residents move in. I have been so impressed by everything I've seen and experienced there. They have a friendly, hardworking staff, provide excellent move-in support, have beautiful grounds to explore, a huge woodworking shop, bocce, pool, gym, comfortable seating areas both inside and out, great food, and a community of people who seem truly happy to live there. Physical Therapist Pooja Parthasarathi (an employee of Select Rehab, contracted to the Creekview Health Center at Stoneridge Creek Continuing Care Retirement Community): Ms. Parthasarathi is a wonderfully kind human being who is truly skilled at her craft! As I've learned, she's been a certified Physical Therapist for 22 years -- even though she looks far younger! Thankfully, she is the Physical Therapist serving residents at the Stoneridge Creek Continuing Care Resident Community. We residents are VERY fortunate. Ms. Parthasarathi is the BEST Physical Therapist I've EVER worked with. Please be aware that over the years, I've been a client of three others. My lower back "facets" are still not well after three procedures. Ms. Parthasarathi really works me "hard" ... BUT I leave my sessions with NO pain -- both that afternoon and the following days. I have not (yet) moved to Stoneridge Creek so I can only speak about the Marketing Department and my general observations of the facility. The facilities at SRC are extremely well-built. I have done some construction in the past and I have toured other retirement communities. The quality of the buildings and the landscaping at SRC are first-rate, much nicer than the other places we have visited. The common rooms are really beautiful and are extremely well-maintained. The Marketing Department has been a joy to deal with. They have been very thorough in their explanations and have taken a lot of time to answer our questions and respond to our concerns. They have hosted us for a couple of meals, both of which were excellent. Based on our on-site visits and the information we have received from Marketing, my husband and I intend to move to SRC in the next 2-3 years. read more

Now entering our fifth year at Stoneridge Creek. Our experience from day one has been wonderful. We have everything we could possibly ask for on campus and additionally so many places to explore in the immediate area. I am very disappointed in the management of this company. My 18-year-old, Senior in High school son has worked here for 6 months and when the SIP happened, they increased his hours and had him working at times he had previously told them he could not work. He works two jobs while going to school, and the hours he was assigned overlapped his other job's commitment. He worked it out with this weekend employer so he could cater to Stoneridge Creek's needs. That's just what good employees do. He received his review at the beginning of May and it was outstanding; he was cited to be warm and friendly to all residents and coworkers alike. Always on-time, never missing any shifts, and self-motivated to get work done without having to be told what to do. They noted they planned on promoting him to a server as he was ready and willing to take on any and all tasks given. Fast forward to the first week of June. Two friends of my son, also co-workers who were off work for the day, post a video waving a Trump flag at a rally. My son was at work that day, but later shares this video on his twitter, Guess what? He is FIRED for inappropriate social media posts. Yes, waving a flag that names our current sitting President and my son gets fired because he simply shared that video on his Twitter account. My son is an excellent employee and will go on to another company and work hard just as he did at SCP, however, the discrimination at this facility will live on. Shame on them for being so short sited that they feel waving a Trump flag is inappropriate. They then failed to pay him a, so they had to pay waiting day penalties when they finally figured it out after we had to send a demand letter. That was after they failed to pay him the correct rate for several months, so they just fixed that mistake as well. The facility might be wonderful, and the staff is great, but the management? They need a lot of work. The residents end up paying more high fees for the fault of the incompetent managers. read more

I can't believe I have to update my review so soon. I drop the rating to three stars. When I moved in SRC 3 1/2 year ago, I felt that this is a very safe and secured community. Unfortunately that's not the case, some cleaning staff stole $1080 from my night stand last year. I found out that has happened with other residents. The employees have master keys and can enter my Villa at any time, Two weeks ago, my golf cart was stolen at one amin the morning. This was caught on security tape. No one from the security tried to stop and question the person who drove a golf cart out of SRC at ONE O'Clock in the morning!!! I talked to the CEO and his excuse was that the security staff may not have seen the tape. Despite the negligence of the security staffs, SRC will not file any claim to their insurance. I hope the three star rating will serve as a warning to the management how much deterioration has happened in three years time. read more

My father-in-law has lived here for 7 years. We have eaten before at Stoneridge when invited and the food has always been good along with the service. We ate recently at the Grill and the food and service were terrible. The servers took their time and did not seem interested much in their jobs. The food, salad bar was missing almost all the additional toppings and was not clean - main dishes we all ordered were just OK (edible), the sides were another story not edible at all - must have been sitting all day in a warmer. I know SRC can do better and should for the residents. read more

I am a relatively new resident of Stoneridge Creek, and only been here a few months and have not yet had the opportunity to avail myself of all services that are offered, but I do have a few observations. First, all the personnel I have interacted with have been very friendly and most helpful. My apartment is quite adequate for my needs. Particular noteworthy was their response when I discovered a couple of problems just after I moved in. I contacted the maintenance department and they had the problems fixed the same day. One thing that bothered me about moving from my home was the fact that I no longer had a place to tinker and no place for all of my tools which I ended up giving away. I was truly surprised and delighted when I discovered there was a well equipped wood shop that would provide me with the space and tools to do any project I may want to do here. Thus far I am quite satisfied with my decision to move here. read more

We moved here almost a year ago. It is time to write down our experience and our thinking process of choosing a retirement community. We lived in Danville for over 32 years. After our four kids left home, we decided to downsize. Where to is the million-dollar question. We really didn't feel like going through the cycle of selling, moving, buying another house then selling and moving again. So we bit the bullet and decided to look for a retirement community and do the last move of our lives, even though we are relatively young - late 60s. We looked around. We knew we wanted a community with large spread of land to walk around and play sports, strong health care facility inside, close to everything we care about - food, ease to go to SF for shows and restaurants, within an hour of driving to any of our four kids in the Bay Area. The choice is very limited for all of these needs. Stoneridge Creek was it. Most other CCRCs  (Continuing Care Retirement Community) in the Bay Area are built around high rises with very little land around it because it is the Bay Area where land is crazily expensive. We just knew we didn't want to ride elevators up and down all day if we move there! After a year here, all of the above have been proven to be the case for us. But the biggest surprise about this place is the amazing people here. Because it is in the middle of the Bay Area, we have the most diverse, interesting, educated, highly accomplished residents here. We have made more good friends in one year here than all of our 32 years in Danville! Practically everyday we engage in deep conversations with some residents where we all learn from each other. Despite various restrictions due to COVID, we have been so busy learning pickleball, making new friends, getting involved in various committees, and even a solo concert. Just has been super fun. Our advice to people in similar position as ours: Don't wait too long. Move while you are still vigorous so you can learn new things and friends. Also you may not pass the mental agility test if you wait too long! Don't worry about your stuff in your big house. Believe me, none of your kids or friends would want your furniture or decoration. Donate them and let some other people enjoy them. Get rid of them and build a new life for the last 20 to 30 years of your life. Don't waste the most important years just because you can't part with your stuff. They are not important. We lived in a 7000-foot house, we thought it was impossible to make the move to Stoneridge. We are so happy now having done that. No gardener, no pool guy, no house cleaning, just spend time having fun. Do we, as residents, have worries about Stoneridge Creek despite the fact that it is just as great a place as any CCRC can be? To be honest, yes. Primarily because of yearly monthly fee increases which many residents worry about because of the uncertain nature of the matter. What makes me feel hopeful that we can reduce the amount of uncertainty is the fact that management and owners here seem to be willing to have more transparency and working relationship with some of our residents with deep background in finance, health care, management, IT, etc. I will come back here in about 9 months to report progress on that front. read more

I have lived in Stoneridge Creek (SRC) for over a year now and feel that now I'm able to write an informed review of the community. I live in a villa, which is a standalone duplex, that is part of the independent living segment. This segment is by far the largest group living at SRC. A co-located facility, Creekview Health Center, is where assisted living, memory care, and skilled nursing units are housed. SRC provides a sweeping range of living units ranging from a studio in an apartment building to a large standalone villa with a 3-car garage. There are 5 large four floor apartment buildings that have the most units available. This is followed by Garden Terrace units which resemble condos in a small structure, and finally duplex villas. Usually, you need to get on a wait list to become eligible for any unit, but the apartments become available much more frequently. The prime motivator for moving here is the continuous range of services as you age. You don't need to worry about finding the next level of care as you grow older and have to relocate. Most of the residents here state that they desire not to impose a burden on their children to care for them. However, the biggest benefit of moving here is the robust community along with a plethora of activities. Previously, we lived in a big house in an East Bay suburb. But a big house ultimately becomes just a big burden with few benefits, to say nothing of having to navigate stairs. I think we had just 5 neighbors that we communicated with frequency. Here at SRC we already have over 50 people we see and communicate with frequently. We see the same people in group exercise classes, cultural excursions, dining, and a bunch of other activities. It's super easy to develop new friendships. Everybody is friendly because there's no reason not to be. I'll just gloss over the other aspects of SRC. The food is good. There are three restaurants. Even though you only get one meal a day, we almost never cook and are inundated with food. The facilities are beautiful and resemble a Marriott resort. For example, there is no need to leave the campus for an invigorating walk. The place is expensive and that rules out a lot of people being able to live here. You are basically a renter of your unit. You pay a hefty entrance fee that is 75% refundable if you leave. You get no interest on the entrance fee money you put in. So, that's an opportunity cost of maybe 8%-10% you might have gotten in the stock market. On the other hand, you are now unburdened with the cost of property taxes, home maintenance, and basic utilities. Check out your alternatives. You may just want independent living such as Rossmoor. However, for a full service "the rest of your life" type of living accommodations, SRC will be hard to beat. read more
