There is No independent living Option available as Web suggests, and really only option is to either do child like activities or stay on room. Living room reserved for residents sleeping all day. No-one and nothing else is allowed. Have tried to use for quietly getting out. of room, but all seats and couches are occupied by sleeping residents. Have no recourse but to stay in approximately 500 sq ft room. this has been a nightmare!!!! If you still want to LIVE and not thru children's lives, this is not the place. Just hope this keeps others from making mistake that I made.

Plenty of activities, a kitchen open to special requests and with a menu that rivals many regular restaurants in the area, walking paths around the building, and a location within an easy walk to a shopping center (esp good for outings). When my dad passed, my mom moved to another beautiful apartment and continued to thrive. She loves to play daily games (bingo and rummikub) and share meals and social gatherings with her close friends. In the rare cases that she needed extra assistance medically, the staff was attentive, kind and caring and they communicated well with me. The activity directors have been wonderful and creative, making everyday life fun and active for the residents. We've also enjoyed and developed relationships with many of the staff members.

During her recovery, it was incredibly convenient and comforting for my mom to simply go downstairs to the gym and attend her routine therapy appointments without having to travel elsewhere. Amy was truly exceptional. She challenged and encouraged my mom every day, pushing her to work hard while always believing in her ability to recover. Her dedication, expertise, and unwavering support played a huge role in helping my mom regain her strength, confidence, and independence. I also want to recognize Lucy, who provided my mom with so much love, encouragement, and support throughout her stay. Lucy's kindness, patience, and genuine care meant the world to our family. She treated my mom with dignity and compassion and was always there with a smile, a helping hand, or words of encouragement when they were needed most. Another standout aspect of Oakmont of Montecito was the incredible activities program. Gianna does an amazing job creating opportunities for residents to stay active, engaged, and connected. From social events and outings to creative and wellness-focused activities, there was always something fun and meaningful happening. I would also like to recognize Arianna and Molly who helped me find an apartment for my mom in a time crunch.  The apartment was so lovely and clean - it helped my mom feel at home during her stay. Oakmont of Montecito was truly a blessing for our family. Not only did my mom receive the care she needed during a challenging recovery, but she also found a vibrant community, renewed confidence, and lifelong friendships. Thanks to the incredible staff and residents who surrounded her with support and encouragement, she is in a much better place today. We will always be grateful for the positive impact Oakmont of Montecito had on her life and our family. It was a nice gathering of former students from Oakland Tech and Oakland High, friends and family of Marvelous Marva Nielsen aka Mrs. E. Although I did not take a tour of this gated community, and it is well-maintained, the area seems to be a peaceful one. Marva was the "longest serving golf marshall, serving about 14 years" in that capacity. She took care of the golfers and the golf courses. I know she will be missed by the people who live in this community.

Tiffany Court is a wonderful place, and it gave our family great peace of mind knowing she was so well cared for. What makes Tiffany Court special is how genuinely the residents are treated like family. Patti does an incredible job staying closely involved with every resident and keeping family members informed and updated. Her dedication and compassion are remarkable. The staff is outstanding. Enrique always went out of his way to accommodate our family member's many special food requests with kindness and patience. Marie, although she works in the business office, consistently went above and beyond to help and support our family member as well.
