TO THE OWNER: When I walk into a business where I'm gonna spend my hard-earned money I expect a friendly greeting, a smile and eye contact. Walked in this morning (12/21/24) with some friends and this bearded dude acted like we were intruding on his meditation session or something. His attitude sucked. I regret not leaving right there and then. My friend said he'd been there before and it was the same ish with the same guy, so this seems to be a pattern. 10 mins later we're sitting at a table thinking we're gonna eat there and they bring us our pizzas in boxes. Well, as anyone who's followed me knows, if there are no pictures to accompany the food it was DAMN GOOD. I only managed to get a picture of the breadsticks because we'd just picked up our order and I was on the way home. Once I got home, though, it was on like Donkey Kong! The breadsticks were perfectly chewy and cheesy and the pepperoni pizza was delish! It's been a month now since I last ordered so you can bet that there'll be some Stoner's on my dinner plate tonight! Don't forget to check their specials section. While driving through town on a road trip my husband and I wanted a quick bite to eat before traveling back home. Stoner's Pizza Joint was one of the higher rated restaurants in the area so I figured it would be a safe bet. The restaurant Is located in a strip mall next to a gas station. We parked in front of the restaurant. Upon walking in we were greeted by the friendly staff which looked like it was family owned. There are a few tables on the side but the restaurant is quaint. My husband decided on a small Pepperoni Pizza and I ordered a small cheese pizza, both with thin crust. We were told our order would take 20 minutes so we sat in our car and waited. The young lady whom took our order brought our food out to the car when it was done, to give you an idea of the great service this restaurant provides. We both liked our pizza. It was not the best I've had but certainly not the worst. For the area my expectations were not too high and Stoner's exceeded my expectations. Pizza is great. The operation stinks. Very belittling when I called to check on the status of my order placed via yelp. (When you google "Stoners pizza joint," you can order through yelp.). When I called to check the status, I gave my last name as I have a common first name. Nothing.... And that was the end of that. I kept prying and ended up determining that it's my first name last initial. But the young lady who answered the phone seemed like I was inconveniencing her by inquiring. I got to the store and same thing... she asked if I wanted to speak to them manager and I said I did. She came back and said he did not have time. I was quite furious over this as I wanted a minute of his time, which I ended up getting once he came from the back. (Probably not by his choice). He stated again that they didn't take orders through yelp.... Again, I placed my order through yelp. It was just so abrasive and he said he would handle it. I don't know what he's gonna handle cause he's part of the problem. He said they were so busy and that is why he didn't want to talk to me. I told hi that was great and good for them. I don't even care if people mess up.... Things happen. Heck, I messed up thinking I got delivery (hence the 20% tip; which the manager said went to yelp/grub hub). But don't belittle me. This is my favorite dive pizza joint in town. But I won't be back. Good pizza though. read more

If i could give 0 stars i would. The only ones who were considerate to me were the front desk people. The person who looked like the owner (sad middle aged guy) was belittling and screaming at the poor girls up front for no reason. Cursing and being disrespectful. The pretty girl with the tattoos seemed so defeated. If this is how you treat your employees, count your days on being open. If you want hot fresh cardboard stop by and try a slice of the chicken with white sauce. Everything about this pizza screamed boring. Also tried the combination with equal dissatisfaction. The doughy pizza crust was in fact the best part of the meal. We ordered pizza from the store on hwy 96 for delivery. The pizza is great! They had a delivery person not show up for work so our pizza was very late getting to us. The owner, Matthew called US and credited us for the entire order. Super sweet, even the young lady who answers the phone (which we all know these days, most phone people act like Judge Judy gave them their job) was polite and professional. Definitely will be back! Hands down the best pizza, cheese sticks, garlic knots, Greek salads, in all of Georgia! It's a little hole in the wall, trashy, not very clean, supplies all over the place, I cringed when I walked in and had a sense of dread about what the food was going to be like........... But I've eaten food all over the world that was absolutely fabulous, but I'd never dine in many of those places with my family or grandma. Welcome to Stoners! The pizza is hand tossed, all fresh toppings, they air roll the fabulous dough so although they are super generous with toppings and all milk mozzarella, NO SOGGY MIDDLE OF PIZZA DOUGH! Toppings are large enough and plentiful enough so that you can actually taste and identify each topping. We had a large hand tossed with chicken and jalapeños, perfectly cooked, piping hot, and the kids had a large pepperoni, (they loved it). We also had a Greek salad, large garlic butter breadsticks. They were very kind coming out to the table and bringing us plates, napkins etc. I'll never get pizza anywhere else, and I feel cheated not to have tried them sooner in the four years we've lived here!! Take out if you're on a first date. They should open Stoners #2 in Bonaire in the Publix shopping center. We'll definitely be back. read more

Wow! As a Grubhub delivery driver, I had an order to pick up from this restaurant where the customer noted that the pizza was for their friends who were having a bad day. The staff took ownership of the situation, wrote a very nice note on the pizza box and even included a free fresh baked, heart shaped chocolate chip cookie.This was Above and beyond. I have not had their food yet but they have earned a customer for life. Any business that understands customer services in 2020, takes it seriously, and does a good job deserves a freaking parade. The thin crust pizza was well made and a welcomed changed from the ordinary fair in the area. We ate there and the area was a little cramped, but not terrible. We had a large pizza with pepperoni and sausage, which was taste and the sausage was a little spicy in a great way. The garlic knots were on par and the cheese sticks were a little lopsided with the cheese distribution. Overall, a good place to go in a pinch and a good place to have on rotation for pizza. read more

Came here because the daughter wanted pizza and I didn't want to head to Dominoes or the Hut. First time ever ordering from here.... Won't EVER AGAIN. Ordered over the phone and when I arrived the establishment smelt like straight cigarette smoke. Inside the establishment, not outside. There were a few young ladies just "leaning" up against the checkout station. Not sure if they were employees or just fiends, but it was not a good look. Also, the establishment was very messy. I have had this pizza twice in a week. Oops. Too delicious, couldn't help myself! The hand tossed crust is fluffy and chewy and slightly sweet. Reminds me of a yeast roll. Have done delivery and take out. Delivery was so fast and the delivery gentleman even insisted on bringing me a package that was sitting on my porch. He was so sweet and set it inside for me. We got a super fast delivery from them last night. It was delicious but we didn't get the cookies. Should have gotten the cookies. The Pep-N-Rollie are so very good. The hand tossed crust is well baked but still has that chewiness to it. The online coupons let us get 2 large specialty pizzas for the price of 2 smalls. We had to wait 40 mins for a "large" pizza that looks like an overpriced medium, and didn't even taste worth it. We also ordered wings, and they tasted baked - not what I was expecting. Subpar dinner and a show. We ordered our food and showed before it was ready. We waited outside only find we were going to get free entertainment. The teenagers working are the furthest from professional. A young man took his hat off and slammed it on the floor while the rest of the employees laughed and egged it on. This same young man then went to the door and flipped off everyone inside, while he was exiting the building he remained with fingers in the air. Enough time had passed, we went in to get our food and were greeted by the same young man with, "Sup?" Another girl popped up and asked for the name and gave us our food. After we paid and we're walking out the door, we asked if the extra sauces we had ordered were in the box. She then told us, after we paid for these items, that they were all out. The wings were cold, with almost nothing on them. I have to say the pizza was pretty good, but the customer service was appalling. Disappointing is an understatement. read more
