We started with the crispy shrimp rolls and pork shumai, and both appetizers were fresh, flavorful, and the perfect way to begin our meal. For our entrées, my wife ordered the sesame chicken with fried rice and mixed vegetables, while I had the lemon chicken with the double noodle salad. Everything was cooked fresh, tasted amazing, and came out incredibly fast. The customer service was excellent. Everyone was friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome throughout our visit. We started with the crispy shrimp roll appetizer, which was a hit. The sauce it came with tasted house made and paired beautifully. For our entrées, we both went with the stir fried veggies with shrimp in garlic sauce. I got mine with noodles and fried rice, while my husband went all in with double rice. The portions were generous, and the veggies were fresh and cooked just right. The garlic sauce, it didn't quite hit the flavor note I was hoping for. And the fried rice? A bit on the bland side. However, the cold noodles that came with my dish was surprisingly tasty (think angel hair pasta tossed in a creamy sauce that somehow just works). Unexpected star of the show. I usually order the Teriyaki Chicken and they cook the chicken raw and fresh on the grill right in front of you. They cook the vegetables fresh on the grill as well. The Teriyaki sauce that they pour on top of the chicken is sweet and savory. The chicken is tender and had the right amount of charred marks from the grill that made it extra tasty. These new owners definitely know what Japanese Teppanyaki cooking is all about. I've become a regular again - eating here about once a week.
