So we ordered for the first time (take out) when we had friends over visiting our new home. We got an assortment of things a pepperoni pizza, wings, garlic knots, and a salad. Pizza: Was mediocre 3 out of 5 stars nothing special could get a papa John's pizza cheaper and tastier. The garlic knots: 1 out of 5 stars. They were dry and burnt Now the wings....I'm kind of a wing snob. These were why I'm assuming they call themselves "Fattys" they were riddled with fat no flavor and burnt to a crisp..ZERO stars we should have ordered from Holy Pie.... Salad: 5 out of 5 stars for the salad. It was crisp and fresh. All and all skip the $70+ bill and order from holy pie get the flavor and save your dollars. Never again. While spending a night in Macon, I couldn't resist going inside and checking out Fatty's Pizza. This is clearly a very popular place, because they do a lot of takeout business on Fridays and Saturdays. I wanted to try their pizza, so I took advantage of their daily special of two slices of pizza with one topping each and a soft drink for only $5. You can add additional toppings for only $.25 each, but both slices must be identical. The only downside was the long wait times. Being that I walked in and ordered on a Friday night, there were tons of takeout orders called in before my order. Therefore, it would definitely be better to call your order in ahead of time. The interior is very cool with an old-school Italian pizza vibe. While you're waiting for your order, take the time to walk around and read many of the funny sayings posted on the walls. Finally, the pizza itself was good. It wasn't the best I've ever had, but it was great for getting two slices and the beverage for only $5. I would definitely recommend this place and consider returning to Fatty's Pizza the next time I visit Macon. Cheers read more

Did take out husband loves fatty's I find it on the dry side. We got the personal pan pizzas husband got the meat lovers and I did the lousy hunters. Also I'd like to see some kind of dipping sauce (garlic butter) on their take out menu (if they do have it and I missed it oops my bad). However, the customer service and urgency to get orders out has been lacking for several months. This is even on a none busy day. If you're in the area and have time to wait, Fatty's is your go to. Fatty's has two locations. One downtown and one on Tom Hill. The picture is for the Tom Hill location. I dined at the downtown location once. It was not good. The Tom Hill location has better chefs. A cheese slice is two dollars. It was decent. I have to go back and try more items to determine whether or not I will add stars. Went to the Tom Hill store recently. We placed a large order online the day before. Also called the day of the order about two hours before we were going to pick it up (and confirmed with them they had our order). When we got there they didn't have our order and were so confused. It wasn't a busy time either. We asked for the manager to call us and we were told that the manager would call us in 10 minutes. She never did. We went by the store again the next day to speak to the manager and was told again that the manager would call us. The manager never did. Food was good but the service was poor and not worth the hassle. And if the manager won't call back either the manager doesn't care or is too scared to call. Either way I have other places I can spend my money. Not worth going here again. read more

I had been craving pizza for the past few nights, and had just travelled 4.5 hours, checked into my hotel, and strolled downtown for food - I was STARVING. At this point, I'm frustrated & HANGRY. I asked the lady who took my order how much longer until I'm served and she was rudely dismissive. "Oh we gotcha. It's coming up right now." So I asked to speak with a mgr & she identified HERSELF as the shift mgr. Typical. When I asked her whether or not she saw anything wrong with my situation, she said "well maybe your ticket got lost among the other orders." WHAT OTHER ORDERS MA'AM?!
