Great atmosphere and delicious food! It's as if a I walked into a small town business where everyone knew each other. The bartender knew all the local customers coming in, there was a woman in the back hand shaping burger patties. At one point, one of the waitress brought in 3 big bags of tortillas. You can tell this establishment is a small, local business. The food was SO GOOD too. Honestly some of the best nachos I have ever had. They hand fry their own tortillas which meant the chips didn't get soggy. The clam chowder and mac n cheese tasted gourmet. And my partner said it was one of the best burgers he's ever had. Definitely a must go to spot if you are ever in Gloucester.

Good spot- year round which is nice. Casual spot- loved the popcorn machine that u can just grab ur own. Also the seasonings were fun. The Mac & cheese was yummy- satisfactory, good The wings were fine but I was a little disappointed when they were all drumsticks and no wings Not a crazy place but casual and reliable

What an awesome gem I happened to be staying right down the street from. I went to Boston to visit family and to get out of Texas for a bit to enjoy some vacation time. It was a last-minute trip and found this little town an hour away from Boston. This place was walking distance right down main street from my airbnb. This place felt pretty welcoming and had a great list of different items on their menu. I was disappointed to find they didn't have their lobster roll anymore, but ended up going with their BLT and fries accompanied with a nice cold beer. Great first night getting settled in. Highly recommended. Great staff and very friendly.

My wife and I really like to eat at the places where the local folks eat. We found Stone's Pub and we were really glad we did! As we were waiting for the pub to open a local fellow told us that they have great burgers...and he was right! I got Eric's Back Bay Burger which comes with a fried egg on top and it was so good! The egg yolk was perfectly oozy! My wife had the fig and prosciutto panini and she loved it. I washed it all down with a couple of Smithwick's Irish Ales. The atmosphere is very relaxed.

Waited for 15 minutes for a host to take our name and ended up leaving. This was at 2 in the afternoon. Not a staff member to be seen.

Grimy little bar, very Gloucester. It's almost like they are trying, but just hard enough.

Even the coleslaw and tartar sauce were made with care. The servers hustle like crazy. They treat you like good friends. Some diners may have frowned on service. Those girls never stopped, and they smiled and laughed. (Who doesn't need that these days?) It's sea scallop season, so even those scallops are expensive I had to do it. The scallop dinner w/fries and onion strings was a bit over $35, but there were 14 huge, right off the boat succulent scallops. The burgers also looked great. Get on over there.

We visited on Friday night and sat at a table as the bar seating was pretty packed. Crowd was pretty chill - a mixture of people in their 20's having drinks & apps, and then older couples/families enjoying dinner. We were happy to see Smithwicks on the draft menu, and we also got a Downeast cider with a caramel/cinnamon rim. We ordered the house made mozzarella sticks, which were ginormous, crispy on the outside, creamy on the inside, and all around delicious. We all opted with different types of burgers - sliders, fried chicken, and a pub burger. All were served with fries and were perfectly cooked. The coating on my fried chicken was crispy and flavorful. Service was awesome - our glasses were never left empty! Best of all, Dwyers has a free jukebox packed with favorites. Looking forward to coming back on our next visit to Portsmouth - we'll definitely be trying the deviled eggs, wings, and fried oreos!
