This branch and supply house is definitely where I prefer to get my parts. Chris, Sawyer, Geremy, Joe, and Don are always on point with getting me the correct parts and ordering in parts that aren't in stock so they are ready for me the next day. Efficiency is a big thing when I'm always on a time crunch trying to finish multiple jobs in a day and these guys and the rest of the Stoneway team help me get my parts and get on my way quickly each morning. This review is for Stoneway Electric in the Wallingford area. My boss owns 3 older gas stations. Every now and then we need some long fluorescent bulbs. I went in on thursday morning october 15 and i got the impression that the short guy in the middle of the counter had better things to do than try to help me get a bulb. Last year when i got the same bulb i needed from this business, a lady working there ordered it for me from a warehouse and it arrived after a couple days. This guy did not offer me that option. These guys are great. Even bailed us out in the middle of the night on an emergency outage call. Used them since 1979.

I needed a special tubing 1-1/2" smurf tubing, Platt did not have in stock, yet Stoneway did have it instock and they where very helpful. I am glad I didn't have to wait a week to get it. read more

These people suck. I'm serious. You go in there for some help and all the sales guys act like they hate their jobs. They act like they're pissed off cause you came in for something. They are not friendly nor very helpful. I would avoid going there altogether, and I usually do but they are a Juno light supplier and unfortunately I install a lot of Juno track/track heads. Every time I order something it's 3-4 weeks out. It's ridiculous. Juno is based in California... anyway I would highly recommend going elsewhere. Like platt. Platt rocks. All the guys from Stoneway should go learn from the pros at the sales counter there. read more

Was in a hurry and needed cable ties for a job. They have a great selection but Chris set me straight when I grabbed one of the more expensive bags. I only needed a couple (not 500, this is an electrician's supply store and less a retail for homeowners sort of spot) and they helped me get to on time and under budget for my client. Chris, the salesperson, understands what is great customer service. I know some electrical work and I am not an electrical contractor and he treated me like other frequent customers. The circuit breaker I got was cheaper than Platt by at least $20. Because of Chris, I would recommend this business. read more
