Empty flights because they were sooooo good

Really great meads and ciders! Friendly staff talked us through and figured out the drinks we would want to try on our flights. Would be a regular spot if we lived in t

We were visiting from CA and were looking for somewhere to kill time and have a drink. This place is so welcoming, has great decor and very friendly owners. We told them what we typically liked to drink and they made us 2 flights based on that info. All of the ciders and meads were AT LEAST drinkable. Some of them were absolutely delicious. I highly recommend this place and will definitely be back neck time we're in town.

This place was seriously so good! Not sure what's going on in Pahrump but all of their craft alcohol is fantastic. The husband and wife owners/brewing team is fantastic. So fun to chat with and quick with a recommendation we truly enjoyed our time here. Plus, this is a cute, comfortable and laid back place to hang out with a good drink. We split two flights so that we could try as much as possible and we settled on the Pineapple Express to take home to Reno. It was seriously good with fantastic Dole Whip vibes (IYKYK). We also loved the Battle Born and all of the Ciders as well, especially the cherry and cranberry ones. Yet another, must stop place on the way to Vegas or Death Valley. Looking forward to round two!

    Also a beer list!

Always a favorite go to spot in Pahrump. Wife and husband owners, both knowledgeable and super friendly. Unique and unforgettable.

    Tasty ciders!!

What a great cider & mead place!! We live in Summerlin, but came to Pahrump to visit friends; and decided to drop in for some flights. All of the staffs were down to earth & FRIENDLY. What stood out was that a female server remembered my hubby from over a year ago. When we went to Ash Meadows in 2022 & I was super preggo, so I waited inside the A/C truck w/ our dog, while my hubby went inside SW to grab a few growlers. And he told the server that his pregnant wife was waiting inside the truck for him. And voila, she REMEMBERED my husband from 17-months ago!!! I know my husband is very charismatic, BUT impressive memory of that server! I LOVED all the ciders on my flight; especially the lemon head cider. We'll def return the next time we are in Pahrump.

    Trick or treat (experimental mead)

Wow! I was thoroughly impressed when we stopped in to visit. This place is a little tucked away, but there's a decent amount of parking and it wasn't hard to find. When we sat at the bar, we were immediately greeted by one of the owners and were told about their menu and how the flights worked. Their menu is rotating with the exception of some meads that are regular staples (always on the menu). They have a wide variety of different flavors of mead, so they truly have something for everyone. Our favorites were #8 - which is a regular menu item - and Trick or Treat. Trick or Treat is an experimental mead, meaning it won't have a permanent place on the menu, but if it's there, TRY IT! It tasted similar to a green candy apple lollipop, but perfectly balanced and not too sweet at all. Aside from their selection on tap, they have bottles you can purchase to go and they have some mead cocktails (you just have to ask what's available). Overall, we loved our experience here. The owners were so friendly and the mead was delicious! We will definitely be back!

"The works", flight of all the house made drafts! 4, 5, and 8 were my favorites. Hubby loved 7, 8, and 12!

What a hidden gem! A family member gifted us a bottle of their holiday cranberry mead so we came to check it out during a day trip in Pahrump. We had the dogs with us and although they are not allowed indoors they got a whole set up ready for us on their patio. The husband and wife, who I believe are the owners?, they brought out a table, chairs, a water bowl for the doggies, and a HUGE outdoor heater just for us! They were so sweet. We tried a flight with one of each house mead, she called it "The works". I had a hard time deciding my favorite but ending up taking home a bottle of Merlin's beard because that's actually my dog's name lol! Super cute spot, we'll definitely be stopping by again if we're in the area!

We love Stonewise meadery! We've been a few times and their mead & cider never disappoint. They'll even turn any mead or cider into a float with vanilla ice cream; yum! Yesterday I had their 3.14 (Apple Pie) cider as a float and it was insanely delicious. Lil Margaret remains my favorite mead, with hints of lime and even some floral notes, perfect for the warm weather. I love that this little spot is family owned with husband and wife working together. They're also family friendly as they always have their own kids enjoying the tap room too. Their hospitality is always refreshing. My only teeny tiny complaint is the chairs. If you're average size or bigger, the chairs are quite uncomfortable, but that's easy to overcome when you're enjoying great drinks and friendly folks.

    10/2021 constantly changing menu!

Locally made cider & mead. YOWZAH! It may not be open many hours, but it commands you to arrive and enjoy their myriad of flavors and abv levels. It is a small family sized brewery and it can get filled up quick! Friendly folks! P.S. get the samplers,.,...good stuff!

    Thanks for the birthday mead!

I don't think I've ever been to a Meadery & Cider location before. Went for the flight of a variety of mead and cider and allllll of them were Delicious! My partner and I ended up buying more afterwards! Will definitely come back. Worth the drive from Vegas! Super awesome owners, Chris and Shana made us feel right at home.

Really great place in pahrump to check out for nevada made mead and hard cider. The husband and wife team are amazing. They answered all the questions i had as i was new to the establishment. I had the tasting of 4 tasters and then added some more. Really fun flavors of mead and cider. If you like beer, try the battle born. If you like hazy fruity ipa's try the pineapple express. If you like sweet meads the mojave chiller and Lil'Margaret are delicious. If you like wine, the coders are amazing. This place only serves mead, cider, and root beer for the kids. It is kid and family friendly. Food is welcome to snack or eat on location. Love the idea! Thank you guys for your hospitality!

We met several times over a 7 month period to prepare our wine. We'd make a party out of it each time. We each brought a bottle of wine and an appetizer to share. The staff is so knowledgeable about wine production and they did a great job explaining the process to us on each visit. On this particular visit, our wine was complete, so we were all part of the assembly line that got to bottle it up. We each took a case of wine home. Last night was my first time visiting in over two years and it was such a nice treat. My friend and I showed up around 5 and sat at the bar to grab a tasting. There is a really comfy cozy vibe inside. We picked which option we wanted and started from there. About three tastings in (we don't really drink) we needed to add some carbs to the party so we checked out the food menu. $10 for a small pizza, not bad at all. The pizza is made in the oven right there and smells so good! I think we spent two or more hours at Vegas Valley Winery and enjoyed every minute. I can't wait to come back and bring one of our other friends too. I highly recommend you check out VVW if you haven't yet!

They actually took a class here a few years ago where they made their own mead. This was my first time here and my first time trying out mead, so I wasn't sure what to expect. We walked in and were greeted by the bartender, with the TV show Hot Ones playing on a giant TV directly above us, and another smaller TV hanging above the bar playing a series of rock music videos from the 2000's, which brought out the nostalgia in me. Once we sat down, we were given a menu of what they had available. I told the bartender that this was my first time here, and he suggested that I try a flight of everything that they had available. We ended up sharing the flight and we also got two glasses of slushie meads (flavors rotate from time to time). The slushie flavors that they had available were Mead-A-Colada and Le Frappe Espresso Mead. The Le Frappe was so amazing, but I think the Mead-A-Colada was a little too sweet for my taste. I tried one drink on the flight, which was called the Umbria I believe. The Umbria had that sweet apple-like flavor to it and it was pretty good! Not too bad for a first timer, to be fair. I'll have to come back again and try the rest of the meads that they have and see if they'll bring out new slushie flavors. Great place! I'll definitely be here again in the future.

I was here from beginning to end not as a participant but as a volunteer. My parents live on the way at Flamingo and Boulder, east by the mountains, and so I figure I can visit them then work a little bit before going off and hanging out friends afterwards. Ended up at YelpHQ instead but that was even more fun. As a volunteer, time working the booth really flew by. Then again, time flies by when you're having fun. I thought our team leader was gonna be late so I wanted to run the show but she was there. There were tons of volunteers as well, Yelp was given two booths out of the twenty to man and one of those booths had a photo booth for memories. I hope you readers that attended took advantage of that! The start of the event was at 7pm, each wine glass was to be filled with 1 oz of wine. Our booth (#3) had a.. wait for it.. let me get a hell yea for the Thorny Rose a Pinot Grigio, a refreshing white wine with melon, lemon, and other perfect fruity combinations. We were given a sheet to display what this wine was but as a group we memorized it in case people asked. I told some people it was a Horny Rose, but they must have been toasted since they didn't catch on. It was so good that we weren't even allowed to taste it but people wanted us to stamp another booth's number so they can have seconds. Nope, sorry! I do believe other tables were pouring over 1 oz of wine though. Portion control is important because by 9PM the wine was running low and we were completely out soon after. Some of the wine tables were hidden from the main pathway also so I kept having people come up to me asking where whatever table number was where. Maybe the tables could be placed in numerical order so they can backtrack if they caught themselves skipping one by accident? But hey vino fans, next time do come early so you can sample the wines and after you're done and have gotten your good fix you can sit around on the grass and enjoy the entertainment provided or eat at a restaurant. It was sad to see the pizza place closed though! Wine goes perfect with pizza, didn't you know that? In the end just know that you participated in a fundraiser for a good cause and hope you checked in and received your free wine glass charm. Shout outs to my fellow volunteers Pam, Ron, Robin and her dude, Vanessa, Tony, Nathan, Christina, Arvin, Anthony, Shirley, and Teri who had to leave early cause of a stomach bug. If I missed anyone else I apologize! And to everyone who stopped by the Yelp booth to say hi and chit chat about Yelp, you guys are awesome. And the "unofficial" line that was formed with people checking in or downloading the app, signing up, then checking in, we didn't mean for it to happen but thank you to those people as well. A votre sante!
