Stonewise was recommended to us by the team at Desert Cane as a place to stop on our trip. We rushed over there to try and get a sip before they closed and they truly welcomed us in and did not rush us as we did our tasting flight. The place had a modern look and a very comfortable atmosphere. They were helpful and willing to chat about the mead and cider processes which is something I enjoy very much. It is also nice that they have snacks like popcorn and cereal available as a snack or pallet cleanser. We tried all of their mead offerings, my personal favorite being their seasonal specialty blueberry one. All of them were quite good, flavorful without being cloyingly sweet as some meads can be. As for the ciders, my favorite being the Extra Cranky which was crisp and refreshing. This was the perfect way to end our day after hiking around Death Valley. read more

We were visiting from CA and were looking for somewhere to kill time and have a drink. This place is so welcoming, has great decor and very friendly owners. We told them what we typically liked to drink and they made us 2 flights based on that info. All of the ciders and meads were AT LEAST drinkable. Some of them were absolutely delicious. This place was seriously so good! Not sure what's going on in Pahrump but all of their craft alcohol is fantastic. The husband and wife owners/brewing team is fantastic. So fun to chat with and quick with a recommendation we truly enjoyed our time here. Plus, this is a cute, comfortable and laid back place to hang out with a good drink. We split two flights so that we could try as much as possible and we settled on the Pineapple Express to take home to Reno. It was seriously good with fantastic Dole Whip vibes (IYKYK). We also loved the Battle Born and all of the Ciders as well, especially the cherry and cranberry ones. Yet another, must stop place on the way to Vegas or Death Valley. What a great cider & mead place!! We live in Summerlin, but came to Pahrump to visit friends; and decided to drop in for some flights. All of the staffs were down to earth & FRIENDLY. What stood out was that a female server remembered my hubby from over a year ago. When we went to Ash Meadows in 2022 & I was super preggo, so I waited inside the A/C truck w/ our dog, while my hubby went inside SW to grab a few growlers. And he told the server that his pregnant wife was waiting inside the truck for him. And voila, she REMEMBERED my husband from 17-months ago!!! I know my husband is very charismatic, BUT impressive memory of that server! I LOVED all the ciders on my flight; especially the lemon head cider. We'll def return the next time we are in Pahrump. read more

Wow! I was thoroughly impressed when we stopped in to visit. This place is a little tucked away, but there's a decent amount of parking and it wasn't hard to find. When we sat at the bar, we were immediately greeted by one of the owners and were told about their menu and how the flights worked. Their menu is rotating with the exception of some meads that are regular staples (always on the menu). They have a wide variety of different flavors of mead, so they truly have something for everyone. Our favorites were #8 - which is a regular menu item - and Trick or Treat. Trick or Treat is an experimental mead, meaning it won't have a permanent place on the menu, but if it's there, TRY IT! It tasted similar to a green candy apple lollipop, but perfectly balanced and not too sweet at all. Aside from their selection on tap, they have bottles you can purchase to go and they have some mead cocktails (you just have to ask what's available). Overall, we loved our experience here. The owners were so friendly and the mead was delicious! We will definitely be back! read more

What a hidden gem! A family member gifted us a bottle of their holiday cranberry mead so we came to check it out during a day trip in Pahrump. We had the dogs with us and although they are not allowed indoors they got a whole set up ready for us on their patio. The husband and wife, who I believe are the owners?, they brought out a table, chairs, a water bowl for the doggies, and a HUGE outdoor heater just for us! They were so sweet. We tried a flight with one of each house mead, she called it "The works". I had a hard time deciding my favorite but ending up taking home a bottle of Merlin's beard because that's actually my dog's name lol! We love Stonewise meadery! We've been a few times and their mead & cider never disappoint. They'll even turn any mead or cider into a float with vanilla ice cream; yum! Yesterday I had their 3.14 (Apple Pie) cider as a float and it was insanely delicious. Lil Margaret remains my favorite mead, with hints of lime and even some floral notes, perfect for the warm weather. I love that this little spot is family owned with husband and wife working together. They're also family friendly as they always have their own kids enjoying the tap room too. Their hospitality is always refreshing. My only teeny tiny complaint is the chairs. If you're average size or bigger, the chairs are quite uncomfortable, but that's easy to overcome when you're enjoying great drinks and friendly folks. read more

I fell in love with this place as soon as I walked in. It's not what I was expecting at all, especially compared to other breweries/cider houses I've been to. You can tell this is a young, family-run business immediately. There are doll houses and children's toys everywhere and the owners are walking around/playing with their young children as they serve you/take your order; it was honestly very sweet and welcoming compared to the usual industrial, cold atmosphere of similar establishments. I came in with four friends and I believe all but one of us got two flights of four samples each. The flights were cheap and the flavors of both the beer and the ciders were familiar but also quite unique and we knew we wanted to try them all. If you pay attention, the main flavor in many of their brews is orange honey blossom and that really comes through. I will say that these were not the best ciders or beers I have ever had but they were quite good and not off-putting at all! In fact, I bought a bunch of freshly sealed cans to go! If you are in Pahrump, I whole-heartedly recommend stopping by this charming establishment. read more

This was my first visit to Stonewise. I was immediately greeted by one of the owners, who was extremely helpful in explaining the various options. They have many mead/cider options to choose from, as well as beer. I got 2 different flights and ended up leaving with a growler of the Doom City cider. The 3.14 Apple Pi was also fantastic. Is it a childcare center, or is it a craft brewery? Hmmm... it's sort of hard to tell. I think someone might need to find a new job or perhaps find a babysitter. It's like going to a dentist who has a donut shop in the back room. Sure! The drinks are good, but do you remember the way your elementary school smelled? And how it felt to be surrounded by screaming children? Somehow, I think this place should just decide to be a brewery! Maybe the mother-in-law should watch the kiddies while mom and dad are running their business? All of this said, their ciders and meads are 100% delicious! I'd love to go there more often... The prices are fair, craftsmanship is excellent. What a very cool concept. Good thing children grow up! Hopefully soon, these folks will find something else to do with their kids besides bringing them to the bar! read more

Second time at Stonewise. The owners are so sweet and a joy to converse with. The hubby and I came in for a quick drink but ended up staying over an hour talking with Shawna and Chris (owners). They are both great company. As far as the drinks; Sucker punch was a family favorite from their new line-up. Overall favorite is Battle Born. I recommend getting a flight so you can experience the variety of taste they offer. Each drink is uniquely made and the flavors really shine through. Best part about this place is how family friendly they are. There is an adorable kid corner with a kiddie sized kitchen for the youngings to enjoy while you drink in peace. read more

This is the greatest place ever! I'm a craft beer guy but I'd rather go here than any microbrewery ever, the owners alone are worth it! Chris and Shawna are so welcoming and are great conversation!!! But that's not even the best part, the mead and cider are better than anything you can find at any local grocery store or liquor store and it's all brewed local!
