Came here for wine Wednesdays and it was a real good time. They offer good specials on wine and pizza every Wednesday. Arrived around 6pm it was already kind of full but we were lucky enough to get a table with no wait time. Molly our server was great, constantly checked in on us and made sure our glasses were full. I opted in to get a flight of reds which came with 5 wines to taste for $15. Each wine was delicious. Parking wasn't a hassle as they have lots of it. By about 7:30pm the place was full and everyone seemed to be having a good time. We also ordered a 9 inch pizza which was just a tad bit undercooked.

Great price for the city, about $50 for a double (10 1oz) tasting with charcuterie for one with tax and 20% tip. Charcuterie was average but good, wine varieties for tasting was nice compared to some others in the area with their add on options and $2 off tastings on Tuesdays ($23 for a double tasting was a nice surprise). Service was good but it would be nice if with the tasting came with some information from the server/bartender while pouring during tasting but the paper menu itself has generalized notes. Ambiance is nice and casual

Peach Wine Slushies are the perfect sweet cool off for this HOT summer weather.

I love the welcoming atmosphere and great wine and cider selections. The pizza is yummy, and the charcuterie is a great, sharable choice. Don't be intimidated by asking questions of the sommelier and wine hosts. They have a wealth of knowledge and will be glad to make suggestions and tell you about the wine. I joined the Co-Op program so I get free wine every month and will be making wine with them this fall. Super excited about that. I'm also going to a Hat Burning Workshop soon. They host a lot of workshops and wine-enhanced events. Best way to find out what's happening is their website or social media.

The Vegas Valley Winery is located in the Artisan Booze District in Henderson. Yes, you read that correctly... Henderson has a thriving booze district, complete with various craft brewers, a vineyard, a wine school, and a distillery. Keep in mind that this place was a bit hard to find amongst all the industrial buildings. We went to Vegas Valley Winery for the wine (and live music) as well as the Wine Comedy Tour. The event took place in their tasting room. Back there, the ambiance was spectacular, as were the wines. Besides the wines, they had very good pizzas and charcuterie boards. I can't wait to return.

Pizza and Wine! A Tasty Combo!

How have I not written a review for this place?! Shame on me! Truly a hidden gem. (Yea... kinda not lying... it is sort of hidden.. in an industrial park ... which has been recently coined the Henderson Booze District.... just a hop, skip and a jump from Astronomy Aleworks which is just a short jaunt down from Bad Beat and Crafthaus.) Now... let's not compare it to a high end winery in Napa. Seriously folks! You're in the desert! But what I can say is this place likes to make every day, very 'user friendly' drinking wines! That's a WIN in my book. They are not over the top in any direction and they are not uber expensive...every batch is small batch... bottles are in the $20ish-30ish range. Oh and they make a cider too. I didn't try it this time, but I have in the past and it was very tasty.... the one I had a while back was not too sweet and not too effervescent-eeeee. (I realize that's not a word... but I'm trying to convey a mouth feel for y'all.) I dragged my husband here on a Sunday afternoon. We lucked out (or maybe not so lucky for VVW), and the place was basically empty... just us, another couple and the wine-tender. She had the VGK game on for us and we enjoyed some pizza and wine. Note... during the game... if you order 2 glasses of wine, the pizza (cheese or pepperoni) is Free! #Score So, we hung out for a bit and enjoyed a couple glasses of wine and a small pepperoni pizza. And I don't know if it's cuz I had not had a pizza in like 4 months or what! But this pizza was so damn tasty! And it went GREAT with the Rose I was drinking. In fact, as I write this... I think I need to go back and get a few bottles of that Rose before it sells out. They also have Yoga and Wine events in the back on occasion. Follow their FB page for updates on that. (Side note: the yoga classes are usually led by Tas, and she's a riot. Love her so much! Her classes are all about fun and to try new poses... no judgement... take a sip of wine and just go for it.) They also have other events like paint and wine or craft and wine. One time I stopped by, they were doing a speed dating thing. I think that has been put on hold for the time being .... since ... ya know.. pandemic. OH! And if you want to make your own wine ... you can do that too! I can't remember how much it was, but you can get a group of friends and split the cost of the barrel or just do it your own self if you are a baller. VVW will walk you step by step... through the whole process to help you make your own wine. This is a seasonal thing so contact them for when the next wine-making session will start. Net, Net.... I love this place and recommend it to anyone looking for something a bit out of the ordinary to grab a glass of wine.

Located in an industrial type area called the booze district of Henderson. I would have never noticed the entire area without the help of Yelp. It's pretty small inside but very nice. Tastings are free if you buy 2 bottles of wine otherwise they range from $12-$15. The wine was much better than I expected. I think it's worth stopping by.

If I was able to give this place 100 stars I would. What a wonderful team! And winery that makes their own wines. Where else in Vegas would you find it?! I visited this place multiple times, one of our first dates with my husband was there. Every time- it feels like we are part of the family. They invite us over for a private tour, and explained everything about winemaking (KJ is something out of this world! So funny! And loves what he does). I definitely want to be a part of their social barrel. September is coming :-) Also want to acknowledge Patty (hope spelled it right), owner of this wonderful place, and sommelier Dave. They truly went above and beyond to feel us welcome and special. I know I will be back many times! And bring many friends. Highly recommend for a nice date night. Maybe with your girlfriends or boyfriends. I love it!! Thank you Vegas Valley Winery!

Found this little Vegas gem randomly in the magazine in my hotel and figured it was worth the 30min trip to try it out. I know a good amount about distilling whiskey, but they talked about their specific processes and the unique attributes of distilling in the hot desert. After the tour, I spent some time in the awesome tap room. Old School vibe to it, with food that rivals the restaurants on the strip, bartenders who are friendly and make a killer cocktail, and just a great place to chat with folks at the bar and hang out for a quiet evening. I was here from beginning to end not as a participant but as a volunteer. My parents live on the way at Flamingo and Boulder, east by the mountains, and so I figure I can visit them then work a little bit before going off and hanging out friends afterwards. Ended up at YelpHQ instead but that was even more fun. As a volunteer, time working the booth really flew by. Then again, time flies by when you're having fun. I thought our team leader was gonna be late so I wanted to run the show but she was there. There were tons of volunteers as well, Yelp was given two booths out of the twenty to man and one of those booths had a photo booth for memories. I hope you readers that attended took advantage of that! The start of the event was at 7pm, each wine glass was to be filled with 1 oz of wine. Our booth (#3) had a.. wait for it.. let me get a hell yea for the Thorny Rose a Pinot Grigio, a refreshing white wine with melon, lemon, and other perfect fruity combinations. We were given a sheet to display what this wine was but as a group we memorized it in case people asked. I told some people it was a Horny Rose, but they must have been toasted since they didn't catch on. It was so good that we weren't even allowed to taste it but people wanted us to stamp another booth's number so they can have seconds. Nope, sorry! I do believe other tables were pouring over 1 oz of wine though. Portion control is important because by 9PM the wine was running low and we were completely out soon after. Some of the wine tables were hidden from the main pathway also so I kept having people come up to me asking where whatever table number was where. Maybe the tables could be placed in numerical order so they can backtrack if they caught themselves skipping one by accident? But hey vino fans, next time do come early so you can sample the wines and after you're done and have gotten your good fix you can sit around on the grass and enjoy the entertainment provided or eat at a restaurant. It was sad to see the pizza place closed though! Wine goes perfect with pizza, didn't you know that? In the end just know that you participated in a fundraiser for a good cause and hope you checked in and received your free wine glass charm. Shout outs to my fellow volunteers Pam, Ron, Robin and her dude, Vanessa, Tony, Nathan, Christina, Arvin, Anthony, Shirley, and Teri who had to leave early cause of a stomach bug. If I missed anyone else I apologize! And to everyone who stopped by the Yelp booth to say hi and chit chat about Yelp, you guys are awesome. And the "unofficial" line that was formed with people checking in or downloading the app, signing up, then checking in, we didn't mean for it to happen but thank you to those people as well. I had just sold my old car at CarMax located down the road and my dad requested that we stop by Total Wine & More before I took him home. I decided to go inside with him because I was curious what they had here. He had his eye on a specific type of white wine and thanks to someone here that helped him out, he ended up clearing out all of its' inventory, buying at least six bottles of this specific brand. It was a Riesling white wine but I don't remember the full name of it. He and my mom now have plenty of wine to go through over the next couple of months lol. Here, I thought to myself, I should buy myself a bottle of wine as well. At my dad's suggestion and since I'm a big fan of Chardonnay and other types of white wine, I picked up a Nobilis white wine straight out of Portugal. When I traveled to Europe a couple of years ago, I did a lot of white wine tastings and this is pretty much how my white wine palate peaked. I've yet to visit Portugal, though. I haven't opened this bottle yet, but I already know that I'll like it. Although I don't really frequent Total Wine & More, they have a wide variety of wine and alcohol choices to choose from.
