I'll start with the con, as there is only one, and this would be a four star review otherwise. THIS PLACE IS LOUD. I'm talking uncomfortable, yell to have a conversation, assault on the eardrums LOUD. The high ceilings, hard surfaces floor to ceiling, speakers on full volume, and multiple TVs all contribute. Service was good Margaritas were good, I always appreciate a margarita that isn't super sweet from mass produced sweet/sour mix Beer was good (though the bartender should take note of pouring beer into hot glasses, it warms the beer up) Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich was terrific - the heat comes from dry spices in the breading, which is different from other NHC we've had that use a hot sauce, yet was a welcome delight. Football - plenty of games on plenty of TVs, you're sure to find your team. read more

So impressed. We came in when it was absolutely packed, and the host found a place for us. The bartender (Jessie) was slammed but was so efficient and somehow found a way to be attentive. She got us refills, straws, boxes, etc. like it was no problem. It was standing room only, and our food still came out quickly. Our drinks were never empty. Once it was a little less busy, she was so personable and fun. I felt like she was just genuinely nice, going even beyond customer service politeness. Even when she was busy, we could tell Jessie was a pro. Our food runner was also carrying multiple orders for other customers and still put ours in the right place. Prices and portion sizes are good for the area. We live close, and I wish we lived closer. Great experience here. read more

This place is great! Owners Will and Stony are super people, staff is always accommodating. We usually come here to watch NFL games and bring our contingent of Packers and Bears fans (we get along with one another outside of when these team play one another). Courtney, Jackie, Nick and Lindsey are super - fun, outgoing, attentive and simply good people. Good food, large selection of beers and a great atmosphere. Crowd is generally diverse and all good people. if you don't like this place, then go somewhere else or stay in your Mom's basement, because clearly you are not easily pleased. read more

I never have felt the need to write a a negative review, but the service at Stoney's tonight (12/13) was horrible. While the food was great, the server only had 2 tables and only 1 couple came in for a To-go order, yet the server was no where to be found. We didn't even receive napkins or silverware until we were finished watin. As a fellow food service worker, i still left a $12 tip on a $38 check on the table for him. My friends and I left the restaurant and were talking about that being some of the worst service we've experienced, when the server followed us 3 blocks down the street and accused us of not paying the bill. We were even more dumbfounded that he had the time to chase us down the street, yet was too busy(?) to provide even minimally adequate service. read more

We felt very uncomfortable asking simple requests (next round of drinks, extra ranch, waters) as the waitress made sure everyone else felt the bad mood she was in. I work nearby and this is a great place to stop and have a bite. I order the Philly cheesesteak and it's delicious every time. The order of fries is always huge and my favorite is the shoe string fries. Their drink specials are good and I never have to wait for a refill. Great service and a good ass burger. My bf wings were good and so was his huge drink. Honestly, what blew me away was the pos system they use. Yikes! I recently ate here with a couple of friends and we kept seeing a mouse running around inside the main dining area. We told not 1 but 2 servers about this and they both acted very nonchalant about the issue. We weren't looking for free food or drinks (they didn't offer anyway), just some acknowledgement. Came to have a beer and get a wing special. Sat quickly at a high top table near the window. The waitress came over: "you guys know what you're drinking?" I ask if there's anything on special "it's happy hour until 6 the menus on the napkin holder" and she immediately walks off. Ok fine I guess you're too in a rush to tell me the two beers on special, or the wing special, or even say Hello... I pick my beer and wait for my moment to order. Waitress comes back "k you guys ready?". I look at my date to give her the chance to order first, turn my head, waitress has already walked off again. Rudest server I've ever had in my life including famously rude servers in Europe. We got up and walked out. The only other time I've walked out without ordering food was at a packed Applebees with nobody working during rush. Came here with a party of 8 after a long 3 day bachelor party. Had some time to kill and looked up places around our rental house and saw good reviews here to check it out. The food was probably the most satisfying breakfast meal I have had in a couple years, sober or hungover, would recommend this to anyone. I got the "Party Biscuits" which should really be called "Party in your mouth Biscuits" with the perfect amount of spices and flavor. Went into this establishment it seemed a bit too serious of an atmosphere at first until the bartender came out to talk to us. We sat outside in the fenced area with the fire going to keep us warm. It was a very welcoming experience. The food was also very good. I had the veggie burger and sweet potato fries. Very good and loved the texture of the patty. I've been a patron of Stoney's on Lincoln for a few years and a huge fan of Wing Wed (I've accepted and gotten used to the changes) so when I heard Stoney's was opening in Uptown, which is walking distance, I was excited. I visited for the first time during the World Cup two weeks ago for lunch and was impressed with the space and layout. Check out the original ceiling which they kept. It's a great place for viewing sporting events, very viewer friendly with TVs placed well. Check out The Stacks. I had the Pass the 'Rami and it was so fat I could barely get my mouth around it. I found it delightfully gluttonous and saved 1/2 for leftovers. My two complaints are about beer selection: unoriginal with too many beers from In Bev and too warm. For my second beer I had the server chill a mug in ice water for ten mins before serving it to me. They should either chill the kegs more or serve the beer in frosty mugs. I was happy to learn that they're doing Wing Wed and look forward to returning as Stoney's wings are some of my fav in Denver. read more

Just started going here as a friend of mine moved nearby. Service was very poor tonight. Waitress took drink order, but didn't ask if we wanted food. She brought the drinks and still didn't ask. Then we flagged her down. My friend's burger came, but mine never did. He was almost done eating his, and we had to flag her down again. When she brought it she didn't even apologize or anything, she just dumped it on the table. And the burger wasn't even how I ordered it, even though I was very clear. A seat yourself place that always you to put 3 tables and take all the chairs for 2 people and the staff will watch you walk around looking at all the open seats but can't help you .. wasted 30 min in traffic driving 10 min finding parking to see people not think of anyone We couldn't show up to the bar at a time when everyone else is there it's really disrespectful to see 5 or 10 table folding seats like legitimately they're taking up one table and have another table or tea table saved for people who are not there read more

Went here for the first time last night and a huge snow storm came in while my friend and I were there! They were very kind and scrapped and sanded the sidewalks mid storm so we could get to our cars safely. I'm so bummed to write this review, because we've been coming here happily for years, but today's events make it our last. We came in today for some football Sunday brunch. We ordered the bottomless Mamosa's and at the waitresses suggestion the breakfast burrito. The food came out in a very reasonable amount of time considering how busy they were. The food tasted delicious until about a third of the way through the burrito when I discovered garbage, yes literally garbage in my burrito. There was a very large piece of a plastic bag in my food. I pointed it out to the waitress she took the food quickly back to the kitchen and apologized profusely. The manager then came over and said that she "heard my meal was not so good" to which I replied yes there was literally garbage in my food. She offered to pay for our entire meal, however I am a firm believer that you should pay for what you get I asked her to please just waive the cost of my burrito and we would pay for my wife's food and our drinks as that was only right. She asked us to compromise and said that she would pay for both burritos we agreed. I pulled up yelp to begin writing this review, the manager came over after we paid our bill and I was on my phone and said that she spoke with her chef and that it was only part of a cheese bag and they threw all that cheese away. And that she would hope that I would not write a one star review and since we had been coming to the restaurant since it opened we were coming back for a reason, and that if I wrote a one star review her boss would come and talk to her and it would be a big deal. That they were taking it seriously, but she would hoped that we would give them a second chance rather than "giving a one star review and bashing us online". To which I replied "me explaining and telling my experience is not bashing you ma'am" It's very disappointing to have one of our very favorite spots completely ruined for us, As well as the less than professional comments of the manager. read more
