My first impression the place is loud and crowded... of course it's game day!!!! Go Broncos.... We got a great spot, close to the TVs and the bar!!!! So we set down the table is clean, menus ready to go and silverware on deck. Our waiter Jane quickly came over and took our drink order... we ordered water with lemon, Pepsi, Arnold Palmer, and sprite. She came back and took our orders. The onion rings and cheese curds came out hot fresh and quickly.. they look good, golden brown and hot!!! The cheese curds were soft and very tasty. I've stopped by Brooklyn's before games a few times. Great atmosphere, cold drinks, and solid food.

The place looks like it hasn't ever been cleaned. You can see stuff dripping down the walls and everything has a greasy sticky coating. This is more of a place to grab a quick drink before an event-unless you want food poisoning from eating their food. I'm guessing the veggies were unwashed? I've never been so sick off of something without meat in it. read more

We went to a meeting there last night for "Project Healing Waters" and the upstairs was absolutely packed. This is an organization that takes disabled veterans out and teaches them how to fly fish. They teach them everything, they are taught how to tie flies all the way up to building their own rod. The room upstairs was large enough to house the gathering. Food seemed To come out fast and warm. I ordered the spicy smothered burrito with beef and beans and it was very tasty. This is a great place to go hang out before the games because it is a great location to the stadium. I WOULD go back. read more

Last week, when the weather was actually nice, we decided to go to Brooklyn's for a work lunch and sat out on the patio. Located as close as possible to the Bronco's field, most people have at least driven by this place. They have a large parking lot, but the striping is a little hit or miss. The interoir decor is "old school hole in the wall bar", but the patio has a more fresh atmosphere. I ordered the cobb salad. It was pretty good. It didn't come with much dressing, so I had to ask for a second. I feel that their pub fare, burgers, and sandwiches would be something that they're more known for. I first came here almost 20 years ago for the Montana State University versus University of Montana (Cat - Griz) Alumni Satellite Football Game. I remember drinking several beers and scarfing down some bar food. I would return, on occasion, to have a random drinks and eats over the years. Now that I work nearby, I come here for lunch fairly often. The beer is always cold (that beverage is consumed outside of working hours), the burgers are pretty darn good, and the service tends to be great. Sitting on the shady patio, enjoying a hearty lunch, on a summer day, is a nice way to spend 45 to 50 minutes. My favorite burgers are the Zephyr (Jack cheese and green chiles) and the Bronco (with jalapeno cream cheese). For a change of pace, sometimes I will get a grilled cheese sandwich with avocado and bacon. Regardless, the fries are always pretty good and a generous portion. I tried this place right before a Nuggets game. The service was terrible. We got sat at the way end of the restaurant. I knew it wasn't going to be good. The wings were cold. It took forever to get a Pepsi. Our server said he would give me a discount because I barely ate anything. Guess what I got no discount. It was really loud in there. Cheap dive bar with character. Excellent patios, old cozy bar, great sports memorabilia. Nice specials. Burgers were very good, fries were excellent. Chips and salsa worked, skip the guacamole. Have been twice now during a Broncos game. Not before the game, and not after the game, but during the game. Wasn't very crowded but the service is terrible! Had to flag down the waitress several times for the basics, silverware, napkins, ketchup, check, etc. Food took awhile and was a bit cold, meh. Hate writing poor reviews but the management needs to step it up. This place has potential. I want to like this place, because the back patio is awesome, and it's a prime Broncos location, but every time we regret it. Won't be going back. read more

Friends and I have been here a few times over the past few months and always had a great time. On non-game days, there is tons of space to bring your group. I've never had to wait for a table. The food is solid. Good burgers, onion rings and apps. Diane, the manager, is friendly and great to work with when setting up an event. MeetInDenver had their Holiday Party here, took over the elevated portion of the dining room and still had plenty of space for their White Elephant Gift Exchange. They have a private parking lot behind the restaurant and there is plenty of street parking in the area. The patio is awesome. We will definitely have to drop in for some burgers and brews once the sun comes out. read more

"Rita" so she said her name was but it is probably a lie, treated us like shit. I waited for 5-10 minutes at the bar and she served every man who walked up but not me. When I finally said something she yelled at me and said I was rude for asking for a drink and that she was too busy. Even other guests said we were waiting there. I ordered then sausage sandwich. It was fairly decent and pretty creative. However, my girlfriend got the club and it was a different story. She might as well have eaten some lunchables. To Brooklyn's fairness, it's not pretentious and aiming for something more than it really is, but since there are so many good places in Denver - it's kind of a letdown when you go out and leave feeling underwhelmed. Ended up here during a Bronco's game on a Sunday. We walked in as the game started and there were a few open tables upstairs which was nice. We were greeted about 15 minutes after sitting down by a server that had seemingly zero interest in serving us. We asked if there were drink specials and she replied with a quick and snappy "no"....well, sorry for asking haha. Ended up ordering Coors out of the bottle for $4.50 each. Ouch. We had very little interaction with our server the entire time. I'm assuming they were understaffed, in which case the blatant lack of attention still wasn't justified. The menu was that of a typical sports bar...nachos, wings, ect.. but with a hefty price tag on it ($10ish for bar food). The quality of food wasn't anything to be desired...especially for the price. It was a snowy November afternoon that we dined here, but the strange thing is that it was FREEZING COLD INSIDE. My whole table had to keep our jackets/beanies on the entire time that we were there. I feel like this place has a lot of potential if they offered discounted drinks on football Sunday, improved the wait staff, and uhm... have the heat on while it's snowing outside haha. Fantastic patio, private parking lot, decent food, average staff ... it across the parking lot to the south from Mile High ... This is a great place, and the location is both a positive and a drawback ... the neighborhood is sketchy and it is basically in/under the Colfax viaduct ... Great for groups on the patio or upstairs (not on game or event day!!) Service has been hit or miss when I have been there, but I give the benefit of the doubt with an average description ... the patio, drink specials, space/location, & easy parking are what make this place better than just average. read more

There were so many people here - this place was packed...in a good way. Loud in a great way. There was so much going on and so many people to chill with that it didn't really matter that it was standing room only. Way to pre-party for the Broncos! The staff was on top of the crowd. First place to think of when going to a game, when my Patriots come to town. Love the old nostalgic building and their back yard patio. The food is very good and quick for how busy they are. Great pre-game hang out IMO. The patio is always packed before a Bronco's game. They usually have a grill set up in the back so if you can't get a table in the restaurant, you can grab a burger or hot dog if the need arises (or if you don't want to pay stadium prices for the same thing....) They have a couple of beer tubs set out as well so you don't have to stand in line at the bar and these little tubs have bombers of certain beers. I have been meeting people here before the game for a few years now and I don't plan on stopping any time soon. I went to Brooklyn's before last week's broncos/browns game. I wanted to catch the early games before I went to the game. I definitely needed to get there earlier if I wanted a table. There were no tables available inside, so we sat outside. The problem is outside there are only two small tvs...and you can only see one tv at a time. They had a grill where you could buy food, but it was pretty expensive for what it is ($7 for a burger). read more

Service was absolutely horrible. Waitress didn't seem to want to be there. No smile just stared at us holding her pad. I ordered a grilled cheese with ham, pretty simple. Came without the ham. Looked at check and was charged for regular grilled cheese so she never even wrote down ham. I would have sent it back but she was no where to be seen until we were almost done. Fries were warm but not hot and good that makes you not care about the calories. I didn't eat them. Food otherwise was good. Just can't get over the sour attitude of the waitress. This place has a great location and great look but I was terribly disappointed with a number of things. But without going on and on about why i hated my time there, i will make my points short. I am an ads season ticket holder, and i refuse to go to this restaurant. I will also advise my friends with tickets to steer clear of this restaurant. 1. Bad service - slow food service - had to hunt down someone for a knife and fork to eat my food - They refused to cut up a bill so our large party wouldn't have to calculate who owed what. This is ver unprofessional and many places are very easy going and good at this. not sure why it was such a big deal to them 2. No accommodation for families (i get it... its a bar. but it isn't a crazy party bar. its a sports bar beside the pepsi center... it should be family friendly) - We had our 10 month old with us, was directed around the restaurant, upstairs and down stairs to get to a baby changing station. THEY DID NOT HAVE ONE. it was not only annoying to have to walk all around getting false information from the waitresses but no change table in any of the 4 restrooms? Its not expensive to have one. I had to change my child on the cold, hard counter as he screamed of being very uncomfortable. Even the pepsi center has changing tables, even in the mens room! - Took us about 20 mins to get one highchair to put our son in. and after 3 requests with answers being "of course ill go get one" I had to track down one. Over all this was a bad experience. Its not that hard to do what is expected of a good restaurant. This place has potential but will not improve until someone takes some action. read more

If I could give this place a negative number I would. The customer service by the MANAGER was awful. She would not even listen to a request to change the game on a tv even though there were two tv's 3 feet apart playing the same game. Their defense was it was what the owner wanted to watch. Running a restaurant based on what makes the owner happy and not the customers seems a bit backwards. They are lucky they are one of the only options by the stadium. I would never go back and I recommend you don't either. read more

First time we were there our waitress was not wearing any shoes just toe socks, totally gross. We ended staying and eating and having a few beers the food was not to bad and the patio was heated and very big. It seems every time we go back they are always closed so I started calling to see if they would be open. They don't have set hours so they staff come and go as they please even at 7 o clock on a friday. During Broncos games its mainly the RTD employees hanging out and not a lot of drinking or anything probably because its 5 dollars for beer in a plastic party cup.
