My wife ordered flowers online through an online company. I guess they contracted Stony Point Florist to do the four centerpieces for a shower. The owner delivers the flowers and they were not even close to what we ordered. They were horrible. My wife tried to tell him that they weren't the flowers that were ordered and they had to match with the decor and he was like this is it, That's what the order said! Horrible customer service skills. He said he didn't have any more flowers to fix them. He basically did whatever he wanted with what he had. Didn't give a crap what was ordered. I truly believe he just went to ShopRite bought some mums and a dozen roses and did the Centerpieces. It was embarrassing. My wife had to redo all four centerpieces. Paid over $300 and got Garbage. I would give this less than a one in the rating. This Florist is a joke!!! This is a tough review because the Florist owner basically left us high and dry. Stay away from this place. read more

If possible I would give zero stars. So disappointed. I ordered these for my mother for Mother's Day. The first pic is what I ordered and the second is what she received. I called to complain because I was extremely disappointed having paid $75 for this arrangement. He explained that they didn't have half the flowers that were in the picture and they do their best to duplicate what is ordered. I explained that it doesn't even come close to what I ordered. He refunded my money however went to my mother's house and picked up the arrangement. Such bad business!!!!! read more

I needed flowers for a special occasion and called around asking for a few price quotes and if the bouquet could be made on super short notice (I'm talking 30-45 minutes) the rest of the competition gave me ridiculous prices and over an hour of wait time. I called Stony Point Flowers and got a beautiful, fresh handheld bouquet made within 30 minutes and exactly the way I imagined it! The flowers were fresh, nicely arranged and reasonably priced! I normally order through an online store like 1-800 flowers. I looked for a local place this time close to the funeral home and came across this flower shop and figured would be a great experience. I should've read the reviews! I ordered online and wrote a message in English. My mom wanted to add a small message in Spanish as well and we called to see if they could add it. We were told no because he did not speak Spanish. We offered to email the message and he said he doesn't have an email which sounded like he just didn't want to bother. To top it off the arrangement is nothing like the picture. Different color and way less flowers. Guess next time we'll stick to the well known online flower shop. I have ordered flowers from Joe at Stony Point Florists for years now, and I am finally taking the time to write a review and I have nothing good to say about this establishment! Before I go on, I have to say that I am completely at fault because I have gone back to them because they are a local florist and I always try to support the small town guy - DO NOT BE DUPED!! I ordered my wife flowers today and they were absolutely TRASH! The roses looked like they were dying and indeed they were as the petals fell off continuously as my wife tried to put them in a vase. I have given Joe thousands of dollars worth of business over the years and it continues to be disappointing - the lack of respect and professionalism should not be something that anyone should have to deal with!! Shame on this place! Worst customer service I've experienced since the camp counselors at Auschwitz. We ordered the picture on the right and recieved the one on the left. That's not so bad except they charged us for the full 2 dozen. After calling them and trying to explain the problem I was verbally accosted and hung up on. After a couple more calls with no results we made a trip down there to at least get some money back and were told they would come get them but we weren't getting a refund. They could have at least done the bow nice, I thought that was flower arrangement 101. Mothers day was tough this year with quarantine and I was trying to help out a local business but this is just unacceptable. I would not recommend this florist. I wish I had read the reviews. I went into the shop for a Mothers Day Arrangement. I saw a very nice arrangement on the floor that I would have taken ($65) but my mom doesn't care for lilies. (There were three of them in this particular arrangement) I asked if they could be changed out for something else. I was told they would duplicate it and I could pick up tomorrow. However I had to pay today. Okay. Its a holiday sale. I get it. What I picked up however was totally different and probably worth $25 at holiday prices. No baby's breath, no greenery, not even a bow! I questioned if this was a $65 arrangement and I was grunted at. I ended up going 10 miles away to another florist for carnations and babysbreath and doctored up the arrangement myself. I was too embarrassed to give it the way it was. Lesson learned. How is this place still operating as the reviews have been consistent regarding the outcome of orders over the years. read more

I think it's about to be shut down. I stopped in and the sign on the door said they were open. The guy inside quickly said they were closed. Then he asked why i was there. I said i wanted a bouquet for my wife to celebrate our 5th wedding anniversary. Then he said, ok, I'll make it. Really? You're gonna do me that favor??? No thanks! There were barely any flowers in the refrigerators and the floor was just as bare. I don't want a crappy bouquet made up of left-over dying flowers. Stony Point Florist Owner, Joseph Pehush, goes above and beyond to DELIVER not only a beautiful birthday flower arrangement to Helen Hayes Hospital for my mother-in-law, but Lobster Tail as well. My mother-in-law has been in-and-out of the hospital for the last few months (spending more time at the hospital than at home) and talked about missing one of her favorite meals - Lobster Tail ! Despite many calls to restaurants in the area, we were unable to find one that would deliver her favorite meal. When I called Stony Point Flowers to order her a flower arrangement and spoke to the owner, Joseph, he offered to place the order at a local restaurant and pick up on their way to delivering the flowers to Helen Hayes Hospital.
