I was not impressed! I was told that the height of the plant would be 3 feet by Tammy; it was not! I expected the stalks for potential bloom , and I didn't see any! They did deliver with respect to the ribbon and the writing on the ribbon! It wasn't a nice plant. I expected better! I should have expected this because I had wanted it delivered a day before the Service , and she insisted on the day of the service.. "l/we know what we doing " was what I was told . I went here for the first time last week looking to get an arrangement for my girlfriend that got a new job - not entirely sure what to get. They were incredibly helpful and friendly guiding me to get something that she would love. Tammy was so kind and funny. we got to meet with her twice in person to discuss the flowers. She was so knowledgeable and honest about what we were actually going to need for the wedding day. I don't know anything about flowers and we had no color scheme for our wedding (cross-cultural wedding, led to many traditional aspects being put aside) but Tammy knew exactly how to approach everything and made the most gorgeous arrangements. What a rude interaction. Ordering my boutonnière and corsage, I had no idea what to order or what it should look like. After asking for some help from the lady running the business, I was more confused than I was going into the shop. Upon picking up the items, my family was yelled at and told that we were "too early" even though it was past the pick up time. When we went back to ask about the boutonnière, only rude, nasty, and frankly snarky comments were yelled at us. What a terrible experience when looking for some help. Do not recommend. The items were not worth the money and barely matched the color scheme. read more

Tappan Zee Florist made 8 centerpiece arrangements for the Rehearsal Dinner we gave for our son and his fiancée this past weekend (4/21/17) and they were absolutely gorgeous!! We live out-of-town, and chose this florist based on reviews and their proximity to the dinner venue. It was a leap of faith since I had no personal reviews from friend or family to go on, but Tappan Zee Florist was great! We discussed the colors and what I was basically looking for in terms of styles, size and flowers. They made suggestions and made me feel very comfortable with what they would be doing.
