Hi, I have a 2004 GMC Yukon Denali for 3 years now. As my truck is not new, I have always taken the cheap rout when it comes to parts and service (my buy here, pay here dealer's mechanic). I cannot complain about my dealer. My regular mechanic has always helped me with payment plans and he does a great work. I had never before tried what I call (a Fancy Dealers Mechanic) because I thought the price was always high. This time my car had a problem that my regular mechanic could not help me with. He recommended me to go to a GMC directly. Immediately I thought... "Here goes my Vacation Money" I checked on Google and got the address for Stoops Buick GMC. I got to the sales office (very nice place) and immediately after opening the door, one of the sales persons came to me and asked me how he could help me. I explained the situation and he immediately directed me to the service area. When I got to the Service area, I met Mike Gill (my Service Consultant) ... What a service! He explained all the services and time required. I was very impressed. The area was very clean and everyone knew what they where doing. Still... I was concerned about my "Vacation Fund", but I had no choice, I had to fix my car, so I left the car. Since I did not have an appointment and It may take a few hours before he could know exactly what was wrong with my truck, Mike asked if I needed a ride home. I was a little confused. What do you mean? I asked. He told me that they have a shuttle service or something like that. Even though my sister came to pick me up, the very nice lady was there ready to take me back to my place if I needed her to... Once again, I thought... "My Vacation Money". After a few hours, Mike called me with the big news. It was the Yaw Rate Sensor. He explained what it was and gave me the Grand Total... Not Bad At ALL... Mike worked with me on the price and I gave him the Go Ahead... Next Day (Today) I went to get my truck. Mike was expecting me with all the paperwork in one hand and my keys on the other. He took me to the cashier. I did not had to wait even a minute. He made me feel like I was a VIP customer. When I got to my truck, it was washed. My Truck Looks and Works GREAT. So, in my opinion the price was fair. I expected to pay FAR MORE than what I paid. In terms of service, Stoops Buick GMC provided a Supper Customer Service Experience for me. I have to say, with Service Consultants like Mike Gill, it is very easy to achieve that level of customer satisfaction. I will be back again. read more

Went to Stoops Buick & GMC to look at a Buick Envision. I have owned Infiniti vehicles for the past 20 years and really wasn't sure if I wanted to switch. Within minutes of meeting our sales person Matt, I was test driving an Envision Preferred. Nice ride, plush interior and very little road noise. Compared to my Infiniti, I thought the steering was a bit more loose on the Envision. After sharing that with Matt he suggested that I try the Envision Sport. The steering was a bit tighter and I loved the garnet interior but really didn't like the black wheels. I knew I wanted white exterior and the wheels that came on the Preferred. Long story short, Matt did everything he could to figure out a way get what I wanted. When it came to pricing, Matt and everyone else involved was extremely willing to work with me to get the best deal. And oh....I brought my husband along but I did the dealing. And everyone at Stoops treated me with respect and listened to my concerns and I never felt like I was being talked down to because I was a woman. Hands down I would recommend Stoops dealership. My husband and I worked with Steve Green by chance. We called Stoops with interest about a GMC Yukon that was on the lot and luckily Steve was the one who we were transferred to and then became the person who showed us the car. From the moment we met Steve, we could tell that he was one of a kind. Prior to us test driving the car, Steve walked my husband and I thru every single button in the Yukon--I have bought many of cars but have never had a salesmen take time to walk me thru the whole car and the features. Initially, we had intended on buying the car that day but with the vehicle itself and the way we were treated by Steve, we knew we couldn't pass it up. I have had our vehicles serviced at Stoops since my wife and I moved to the area in 2014. They have always been nothing short of fantastic with their service and honesty! Eric Davis is the one I work with - he is the best service department person I have ever worked with! Super nice and friendly and knowledgeable, but doesn't "lord" that over you as many service connections I've had in the past. I highly recommend you contact Eric at Stoops if you want everything to flow and to be taken care of in a manner that all patrons deserve! After my wife had an accident on the black Indy ice in January, we had our vehicle repaired in their body shop. Oh my! Absolutely unbelievable!!! Their shop repairmen is second to none! I bought a used 2001 jeep wranger from stoops buick in plainfield on 07-11-2012.... the jeep has been back in their shop 3x 1 ac leaking, brakes, 2, ac leaking smell bad, check engine on, 3 still smell rraditor fluid This people dont know their ass from a hole in the ground... Dont buy a used vehilce from them unless its a buick they are some dumb ass.. as of today Im filling a complaint with the attorney general. Im out for blood. There is some kind of internal problem with the engine when u have raditor fluid coming out of your tail pipe? ( u think) those dumb ASSES look at me like a dumb when I show them that. Then they ask me what Im I suppost to do... Fix my damn jeep u dumb ass. duh read more

What a great car-buying experience! Our van finally died, and we needed a reliable road-trip vehicle. Richard Santomassino has to be my favorite car salesman of all time! Our family had loaded up our Acadia and we're heading to Erie, Pa from Plainfield for Christmas. We had a code and reduced engine power almost to Richmond, We called several dealers as we limped the vehicle home and Stoops was the only dealer willing to even look at it same day. Mike Gill was our Service Consultant and he worked us in to their already busy schedule. The Technician, Brian Olson, scanned our codes and made the replacement of the throttle body. Your dealership staff does a great job! I was in Plainfield on another appointment the day my service was performed. I didn't have a previous appointment set for my oil change on that day. I noticed my appointment was within a mile of your dealership. As I got off the interstate I called your service dept to see if it was possible to get my oil changed in about 30-45 minutes. Your server adviser made it happen for me and got me quickly in and out so I could make my next appointment on the northeast side of Indianapolis, Thanks again for providing me a great experience! read more

Sorry to see some poor reviews when I had such a positive experience Maybe attitude is a factor. I had my 2012 Enclave in for tires, and oil change. Cristie Stocking was very helpful in assessing my service needs at 55,000 and the mechanical inspection found some additional items that needed attention. I found the price for tires to be less than a price I had found from a dealer in Tennessee. Had a loaner car for a day and a half, a really nice 2017 Enclave. All of the staff I came in contact with were very nice. read more

Specifically at 7:15PM on a Thursday night considering I was traveling from Michigan to Jasper for a job interview when I had significant engine trouble. Brian was able to get my vehicle into service as a morning priority to be completed by mid day Friday when I was traveling back.
