RE: 1328 Beekman Road Store. A while ago I updated my original bad review to good as I did see some changes for the better. I started to shop back in the store. I did notice some price errors on my receipt from time to time, but they amounted to less than $1. I continue to pay attention to the advertised ticket and confirm I have the right product. WELL, today, 2 of my items, that were on sale (and I DID use my price savings card) were rung up incorrectly. I am so annoyed. It amounted to $2.75. I know you must be rolling your eyes for this amount, but if I came in this store because I wanted the sale items and was NOT charged the sale price, it literally ticks me off. AND IT ADDS UP! I am not going to drive back for this and what about the seniors? C'mon Stop n Shop...GET IT TOGETHER!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I gave this store TOO many chances and now I KNOW why this store has a VERY LOW RATING!!!! Not spending another PENNY here and I am spreading this negative review around!!!!! read more

Never too crowded and always find everything okay. Whenever I need help there is always someone to help with whatever no problem. Prices are okay a little inflated like everywhere else now a days. read more

For the past 15 years this store has consistently given poor customer service. Additionally it is a dirty store that stop n shop clearly has no interest in maintaining. I consistently experience: Rotten produce Poor quality produce Sewer smell Expired products I have been having a poor experience with their self checkout process. Every time the clerks say they will pass it on. When it occurred for the 5th time I asked to speak with a manager. She stated that this was a corporate problem and could do nothing about it. Did not offer to contact someone, did not take my name or number. Really expressed that they have no desire to improve customer service. This store has a negative reputation in our community. Very sad seeing how much money is spent and how much more would be spent if they cleaned up the store and started treating customers like they matter. It is worth your whole to travel to their competitors. read more

I was coming to this location maybe once a week. The store is clean and the scanners are always fully charged. I like that and it keeps me coming back. The cons: The Deli section is good but one of the female employees at the deli counter is so awkward. On more than one occasion I have given her my order and she stood there staring at me. The last time it happen I just told her I didn't want anything and I walked off. The meat section- ugh, don't get me started. Way too many times have I bought meat only to get home and see that it's rotten before the sale by date. I also notice all the time that the store has sale by dates the day off or the next day. Super wasteful. I still come here for things but I'll never buy deli meat or any meat here. I always use the scanner and then the self checkout. The employees are not friendly. read more

Great supermarket! Fresh produce, friendly staff, nice layout, and a good atmosphere! Two things to improve on, however, would be the outdoor cleanliness and the flower selection. The outside seems to need a fresh coat of paint to modernize the store and the flowers always seem to be old and/or dying. Overall good service, I would recommend it. read more

Up until yesterday when I was coming back from a longer Uber trip which led me to Poughquag, I knew I had to use the bathroom, but I also was looking for certain items, and although the bathroom was closed (Out of Order sign on the door) with only one bathroom on the premises, I felt it only necessary to get the stuff, pay and get out to get to the next place to use a bathroom. I needed baby wipes (I was surprised they sold Honest brand baby wipes), but knowing the toilet paper and disinfectant shortage, I wasn't very pleased that they weren't prepared for my visit (I was looking for disinfectant spray too). I had to vouch for smoother napkins for toilet paper, but the fact that I'll have to spend tons more shopping on Amazon for disinfectant spray really isn't thrilling me! I paid without a hassle, got my receipt and headed out to my car. I heard something from one of the other register clerks about how they were going to close early (or something nearby was closing early, I couldn't really tell because she rattled it off so fast, talking to another customer they apparently knew). I got lost in the small parking lot with trying to find my car but found it a few moments later. It's not in the greatest location - besides just off the Taconic by about 3-4 miles. It's got Poughkeepsie and Fishkill to deal with nearby (20-minute driving distance to Poughkeepsie given US Route 55 traffic and roundabouts), but it's too small for me (I guess it works for some people). I got a few things, but not much besides mentioned above. Maybe in better times (when the shelves are stocked, I might decide to try again and hope for better conditions. read more

This is where I grew up shopping and - while spoiled me says it's no Wegmans - I have to say how impressed I am with how much this store has done while I was gone. I love that the organic section is right by the front. It's great to put some of the healthier options front and center instead of burying them on some random aisle. The produce section also seems very nice with a good selection and good quality. The store is relatively easy to navigate and seems to have a good selection of items. The service is pleasant and my mom will get special orders from the butcher for holidays. On the whole, a nice place to shop when I'm in town. read more

After living in this town for over 25 years I have never seen a supermarket as bad as Stop & Shop on Beekman Rd. 1st their shelves are always 1/2 empty while every other store chain in the area has full shelves constantly. Their produce section is horrendous, no sooner do I get home with it it turns bad. Whoever orders for this store should be fired. Their prices have soared while other stores stay the same or are lower. Don't blame covid or supply shortages because that is bull. Selection in every dept. is minimal at best. They say to buy local when this store obviously doesn't care about it's customers. Needless to say I only go in this dump for basics like a container of milk. This store should sell or go out of business because it is constantly terrible. read more

Great supermarket with fresh food and awesome helpful staff! I love that no matter what time I go I rarely have to spend that much time waiting in line they have the least wait in all grocery stores in the area. I have frequently been helped by special needs individuals which also pleases me that they actively employee older and special needs individuals. read more

Absolutely disgusted. So the first time I had a bad experience at stop &shop, I bit my tongue and didn't say anything. I had purchased about $20 worth of spoiled scallops. But today I was just blown away. I had purchased a pork shoulder that stated on the package it was just packaged today. Shortly after I got home I opened the pork only to be gagged by the smell of rotten meat. It not only had me gagging but my boyfriend as well. Anyway, I immediately drove back to stop & shop to return the meat. Not only did I wait at customer service for over 10 minutes while one woman wearing a black stop & shop uniform played on her phone. But when I was finally helped, the man that helped me was incredibly uncaring of the situation. I figured I would in the very least get a simple apology for the store selling me rotten meat, thst had I fed to my family would have made everyone very sick. Instead I got a nasty attitide. When my boyfriend told the man he should check the rest of the meat back there, the guy just shrugged it off and said "yeah I'll let them know" So all in all, I more than likely won't purchase any meat, fish or even produce for that matter from this store any longer. And I also think the department of health should get a call too. Spoiled meat is no joke. And to sell it is just down right unacceptable. read more
