I applaud the A&P in Mt. Kisco for attempting to carry most the products needed by Jews to celebrate Passover. I especially need to thank Alex for helping me navigate the otherwise crazy layout of items. If they at least labeled the aisles and shelves better, my shop might have gone faster and more effectively, but he was great. There are still products that are not available like dairy, (cream cheese and whipped butter and Mother's margarine, for example). Prices were too high for some of the products that are usually much more affordable. Can't end without mentioning that the check out crew was great! read more

OMG!!!!! AMAZING!!!! UNBELIEVABLE!!!!! WOW!!!! So I just moved to Greenwich from Avon, CT but shoped at a Simsbury, CT Stop & Shop. Where do I begin???? Well, I thought our Stop & Shop in Simsbury, CT was nice, so I wanted to have similar experience shopping here. I went to the S&S in Greenwich and thought the place was ok but it was simply too small for me. I need a one stop shop with variety and larger selection. This Stop& Shop IS UNBELIEVABLE!!!!! They have things that my store had but better, the sandwiches are delicious, and pizza looks great (next time). Great selection of ready food for those lazy days, or to feed guys when we have projects being done. There are so many international products, wide and long isles making it easy to get around. I had to keep my shopping small as we are waiting for the new fridge to arrive 11/23 but I told my daughter, wait to see this store it will blow your mind! I have been a loyal customer of Stop and Shop for years now. I have placed numerous home delivery orders. However the last two home delivery orders that I placed never arrived! I was never informed that there was any problem or the driver was running late. The first time the delivery never arrived, I had to be transferred to so many people and departments to find out that instacart was given my order to handle. instacart said the driver called them and said he couldn't find my address!! Instacart proceeded to cancel the order without telling anyone!! The second time when my order wasn't delivered within the time slot. I called Stop and Shop. I was placed on hold for long time. when a representative finally answered the phone. I was told once again Instacart had the order and the driver was still running late. They wanted to know if I could reschedule my order for the next day!! I had placed the order for today's deliver and wasn't going to get another rib around. I cancelled the order and this time insisted on proof of a credit which they ignored from the previous cancellation! I would never recommend them anymore. This is my favorite grocery store! Staff is very kind and and helpful. My favorite thing about this specific location is how fresh the produce always is. Recently at a lot of other grocery stores it has been a hassle to find fresh produce and I often leave empty handed but here, that is never the case. Baked goods are always fresh and they have a large selection of fresh seafood and meat. Best store around by far! read more

This is a very big stop and shop. I really like the parking area and the fact is close to target and other shopping areas in mount kisco. Also the employees are nice and helpful. I always find what I am looking for and the lines are usually fast. The staff knows where to find what you are looking for and they are always so nice. read more

This store has the worst customer service (not the desk) but the managers are beyond rude. I have never been so humiliated in life in front of customers. They didn't even what to try to work out the problem.... it was "just leave" from them. **edited, I called customer service on June 7th and was told that a district manager would be calling..... Great place to shop at a good price for quality groceries, seafood, and meats. Place is clean and much better then shop wrong up the road. This joint has better deli and a hot bar wings etc. plus a better beer selection. Not a fan of the scan and pay aption. This by far is the cleanest of grocers! read more

Cero starts. I can't believe it , in this pandemic stop and shops never has a person desinfecting the shopping cars. don't even have wipers to clean the baskets or shopping cars. If you go to whole foods or target they always have a person cleaning or special stand for wipers. What's wrong with this company it really cost thousands or millions dollars to pay someone or to buy wipers? Please do something about it. read more

I moved to Mount Kisco two years ago and I loved this stop and shop. Over the pass couple of months I noticed every weekend no matter what time I had gone there have been no meat choices. This makes me frustrated and now have to find a new supermarket to buy meats making it inconvenient for myself. read more

This grocery store wants you to scan and bag your own groceries as you shop, to "save time" by not having to wait at the cashier line. This is ok in concept, but not in implementation. They are often out of bags where you get your scanner so you need to remember your own. The produce has to be weighed, and the code you need to make sure you have the right produce is often no on the item in question or its sign, and the scales are often broken. So you have to go in search of people to help you - which is no easy task, and often the employee you find doesn't know how to work the scanner or the scales. Twice so far the scanner has failed on me mid-way through my shopping trip. They "randomly" sample customers to spot-check at the end to make sure you have scanned everything in your bags. I have gotten "randomly" selected quite often, and they take forever to get to you as you are standing there with your full bags and credit card in hand waiting at the self checkout. Then they several more minutes to check your bags. This always on the days when I am most in a hurry, and makes me regret not going to a regular cashier. Which I have tried as well, to find another slow process and unfriendly cashiers. The butcher has some nice meats -- but there is often no one there to serve you, and no bell or anything to reach the people in the back. The floor manager is a nice guy who doesn't particularly seem to care if things are running smoothly or not. It's rather odd, and leaves me frustrated so often that I avoid it whenever I can and really miss the A&P that used to be there. read more
