This grocery store is the Disney World of all grocery stores. Thank God I don't live closer or I would be one broke lady! Came in here with a colleague for lunch. She needed to return or get credit for something and customer service was so patient and helpful and ended up giving her credit even though details couldn't be confirmed at the time. The hot bars are insane! Every flavor chicken wing, Asian bar with lo mein, fried rice, fresh stir fried veggies. The soup bar was clean, everything was clean, and had multiple options to choose from. So many many options. The desserts looked like 5-star restaurant options. Excellent! I first discovered Wegmans from my daughter who lives in Nyack. There is one not far from her in Montvale, NJ. Very affordable! Way better than Whole Foods & cheaper! Wegmans rules. I used to be a patron of the chain when we lived in Pennsylvania. It's such a great store, I absolutely loved their prepared foods, their quality produce and their extensive selection. I stopped by this branch on a recent trip to Westchester. I was glad to see things are just as good as I remembered. We got a bunch of different items, some fresh cut fruit, sushi, salads etc. Everything was great. The store was very clean too, so it was a pleasure to walk around and browse. Finally, the staff was very friendly and helpful in the interactions we had. Overall 4 stars from me. I'd probably give them 5 stars if they weren't so overpriced, but that aside it's definitely one of the best supermarkets around. read more

I love wegmans ! As a home chef I love a good grocery where I can find new and exotic ingredients to explore and wegmans is just that place. Kind of like Whole Foods without the Whole Foods price tag. I use to drive all the way to Maryland to shop here so I'm glad they've opened this location now. read more

I stopped by this Wegmans location while driving back south from upstate and was quite impressed. This was my first time ever shopping at a Wegman's and I was blown away. Are they all like this?! The store was seriously massive, prices seemed reasonable compared to the competition and their organic options were in abundance! I bought some organic bacon and eggs to have for breakfast for the next few days and some fruits for the road. I just heard that they're opening a store in Lake Grove come early '25 and I can't wait to see it! read more

Outstanding selection of meats and Seafood. Very surprised to find 1 lb New York strip steaks for about $11 each, that's like pricing from 10 years ago. The wild caught raw shrimp from North Carolina is the best I've ever had. The employees have all been super helpful when I needed anything. Plenty of parking and easy to get in and out of the lot. And they have banned nutty people from bringing dogs into the store, which I appreciate because that is unsanitary and illegal, so thank you for that too! read more

My first time at Wegmans because I had no idea a Whole Foods/Publix existed lol From the burger bar, to the subs, wing bar and sushi , shawarma bowls and Asian bar , there is something for everyone. Hot and ready to eat food, desserts galore and a dining area to enjoy your food at. What more can I ask for. Been to this location twice. Once during the week. Once on a Saturday. During the week it was a nice experience. Aisles are accessible. Shelves are organized. One a Saturday- horrible. The store is crowded. Aisles are cramped with shoppers. Employees are stocking midday with pallets and carts out. Parking lot is packed. Last but not least the crowd (ie shoppers) is a very entitled bunch with zero common courtesy. Not a place for me. People stopping mid aisle (not pulling over) to browse a shelf. Kids are all over the place: my main take away- shop during the week. In the weekend- I'm avoiding this location like the plague and sticking to Whole Foods White Plains. read more

Actually, zero stars. I ordered food online, early in the morning, to be delivered later in the evening. The night before a snowstorm, which was to arrive later the next day.They canceled my order for no reason and then made me wait 3 to 5 days for a refund for funds held from my bank account. I could speak to no one on the phone and no one would assist. They referred me to Instacart, who then referred me back to Wegmans, who were ultimately at fault. I was here on business. I went to familiar territory. Wegmans. Who doesn't like Wegmans? Surely not me. Wegmans has their formula down to a science. I ordered at the burger bar. I am currently doing the CARNIVORE diet and ordered just cheeseburgers patties. They were used to dealing with peculiar requests. The burgers were made, but they forgot the cheese. When I went low key upset (but always respectful) they promptly fixed it by handing me 3 slices of cheese and patting me on the head. Anywho, there are the regular tables and booths where you can have a seat and eat your food. There was plenty of space. I went during dinner and there were maybe 5 or 6 people sitting in the dining area designed for 60. After eating, I went to buy some essentials in the grocery store section. I literally bought bacon and cooked it in the hotel room the next day. lol. read more

Hey all I'm back! I know you missed my descriptive reviews so here's another. Well actually its an update. So the last time I reviewed Wegman's in Harrison it was a 3 star. What changed? Funny you ask. Slicing cold cuts should be a fairly easy task. Take the hunk of processed meats or cheese, place ever so carefully on slicer, turn the knob to the desired thickness and start slicing. Well the past few visits when I have asked for thin sliced, I would either get shredded or ham steak. My luck has changed. I have found 2 people yes 2 from the same store that understand the term "thin sliced". To make it better they actually slice and show for approval. Talk about a novel approach to customer satisfaction! Now if the seafood department had the same concept of cutting to order. That might get them the all elusive 5th star! read more

I haven't been to a Wegmans in a very long time. I think the only location I've ever been to is in Binghamton. I forgot that several have opened up in the "downstate" area, including Westchester County. I believe this store is fairly new and it's overwhelming. I could go crazy in this place. I'm traveling for work and had a meeting in the area that ended just before dinner time. I decided to stroll around and see what might catch my fancy instead of going to a restaurant. The sushi won. It was hard to choose...so I picked three different packages. Grabbed a bottle of water at sat down in the café to enjoy my single meal of the day. I wish we had Wegmans near us. read more

Wegmans is a very useful store. They have a huge parking lot with easy parking. They have tons of hair and skin care products. They have good cooked chickens, some decent prepared foods, a good selection of raw poultry and meat, tons of snacks, pet items, and basically anything else you can think of that supermarkets usually have . The store is huge and usually not too crowded. The lines usually aren't bad. Their return policy is good; if something turns out not to be good, you can return it. read more

I was waiting in the store for my order to be ready so I kind of saw the whole process. the one female employee working the area worked SLOWLY. my order was not ready on time and to top it all off, the kids meals I ordered were missing two items each! Solid 5 star for me. Moved to Connecticut this summer and haven't been able to find a grocery store thats up to par - I'm not a fan of Whole Foods. Made it to this Wegmans a few nights back and it was love at first sight. The store is huge, it was super clean and very well stocked. A ton of prepared foods, an excellent cheese selection, bakery, fresh veg and fruit, and so much more. I was expecting to pay premium prices, however, they weren't. I no longer have to "brave" the stores in my neighborhood. I'll gladly cross the CT/NY state line to do my grocery shopping, until the Wegmans opens in Norwalk next year! I fell in love with Wegman's in college and am thrilled they are in NYC now! The bakery is reliably delicious (pumpkin bars, pies, cakes, cookies - try them all!). They carry Grillo's pickles and if you like pickles you have to get their Pickle de Gallo and put it on everything. The cheese section is incredible. Their store brand of most things is really good (pasta & simmer sauces especially). Plus they have both red and white hots and Country Sweet BBQ sauce so all the important tastes of Rochester! You can't beat the variety and the prices aren't crazy. Great checkout experience too. read more

Wegmans Harrison was a great find when they first opened last summer, unfortunately after visiting numerous times since then we sadly find them lacking in many ways. Many items are never restocked, limited, or completely gone. Fresh seafood choices have diminished. Take-away options are now neglected. We also noticed fewer shoppers in the store. Hmmm Interesting. I got Wegged in the wedge! We all have our local supermarket that we can grab some milk or bread from- on the way home from work, But I'll be honest though- even with Stop & Shop's new and updated modernish design in North White Plains, my weekly shopping is boring. So in comes Wegmans in Westchester! We'd driven by Brooklyn's Wegmans about a year ago and all I thought was, "what's the big deal???". Well...I'll tell you. First of all, this Wegmans is practically the size of a damn football field. Then you get the full food sensory experience inside. Everything is in plain sight. And everything is fresh. So fresh- I actually purchased 1/2lb of cooked garlicky string beans and another 1/2lb of prepared Cauliflower 'Risotto'. Mind you- I NEVER buy deli prepared foods because they rarely look fresh and grosses the hell outta me. Yet selecting some fish from the Seafood Dept and picking out a few prepared veggies at the Deli Counter(?)- were treasure troves of deliciousness. Handy? Hell yeah-especially since I've been back in the classroom and the last thing on my mind when I'm home is make dinner from scratch. A bit out there in price? Y...e...a...h- just a bit. But you do get what you pay for- and that's quality. Clearly defined marked aisles? Absolutely! And by the way Wegmans- way to go for calling it 'Latino' aisle and not 'Spanish'!!! We don't have Wegmans in Connecticut, so this was my very first experience. Upon entry, I was greeted by the sound of a rooster crowing and spotted to my left an animatronic rooster underneath a faux portico as part of a barn tableau. Like many have noted, my thoughts immediately went to Stew Leonard's. I like to think of Wegmans as a kind of Stew Leonard's meets Big Y meets food court and marketplace with a wide range of offerings. Actually, the more I think of it, the more it reminds me of Gelson's in California. The store was well-organized. The Wegmans brand was sensibly priced. Great selection of NY craft beers. Good pre-made sandwich, which was why I stopped in the first place. I was driving home from NYC after an afternoon appointment and asked Siri to find me the closest supermarket as I needed a grab-and-go lunch and a few other items. I'm so glad she brought me to Wegmans. If we had one in Connecticut, I would go. read more

This review is for curbside pickup at the new Wegmans in Harrison NY. First time here. I placed my order online via instacart. I only ordered a few items. Next, I received several texts from instacart, detailing the order status. I was very impressed by the prompt service & information. I received a text informing me that the order was ready. A link was provided - click on the link & it notifies the store that you've arrived at the parking lot. No need to call. Clever. The order was completed early; I drove to the store. Located off the 287 on Corporate drive, it's a long winding road - Wegmans is at the very end. I found the signs helpful but locating the curbside pickup was a little challenging. It's actually a designated section of the parking lot. I parked the car at a designated numbered spot & sent the text link to notify the store. A few minutes later, a Wegmans employee emerged, groceries in hand. They were very polite & placed the groceries into the car trunk. Contact free. When I checked the bags, I realized that part of my order was missing - they were out of stock of the item. I felt disappointed since I ordered it within an hour of the pickup time. Wonder why the website cannot reflect the true inventory for online orders? MaxDelivery in the city can do it. Other than that, I recommend the Challah from the bakery - large and delicious but a little over baked. Fresh & warmed up nicely. Everyone enjoyed. read more

The much-anticipated Wegmans has finally opened in Westchester County. This has been a long time coming - I remember hearing about the announcement for this location a couple of years ago, and since then my college friends from Upstate New York have really been pumping me up with anticipation. While its original June 2020 opening was delayed due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, they opened their doors yesterday so I figured now was as a good a time as ever to check it out. Downstate New York first got a taste of Wegmans when their Brooklyn location opened last year; my visit to that location was my first real Wegmans experience and I'll admit I was impressed with the quality of their food and the variety. This location is nestled in West Harrison, right off I-287 just east of White Plains. When I arrived there was a line (as I expected) but it moved swiftly - I didn't wait longer than 10 minutes to get in. The store is huge - much larger than their BK spot. They provided maps upon entry which helped since there's a risk of sensory overload. Overall though, the store was laid out very nicely - sections were clearly marked and employees were everywhere to help you out. In addition to traditional groceries, they have special sections for cheese, meats, fish, deli, floral, and a large variety of prepared meals. I've seen this model adopted in a number of other grocery chains but I feel Wegman's has really perfected the model, and the selection beats their competitors. I couldn't get over the variety - so much selection and everything looked super fresh. The store is open from 6am to Midnight seven days a week, so if you're an off-hours shopper like me this really makes it convenient. Also, I gotta give it up for the employees - everyone I encountered was super nice, eager to help, and overall seemed happy to be there. I've read that Wegmans is one of the best companies to work for, and I could really tell that employee engagement was high. Overall, I was super impressed with this newest Wegmans. Now that they're here in Westchester, I'm looking forward to getting to know the brand better and incorporating them into my grocery shopping rotation. read more

Potentially I'm a tad biased, however, this family owned grocery chain is arguably the best retailer in the USA. The employees are trained to offer services with pride and courtesy. The prices are reasonable compared to similar competitors (ie Whole Foods or Publix). Wegmans offers some touches of western NY that is welcomed in this area. Definitely my place to shop even though it's several communities over. You will have a hard time justifying shopping elsewhere. Only knock is the wegmans brand is prevalent on the shelves which may not be a bad thing but choices are nice to have either way. Happy shopping. read more

I primarily went to the Wegman's in Harrison, NY to charge my car at their bank of new Tesla superchargers. That was the highlight of the trip. So I ventured into the store, it was overwhelming and just huge. Seem to have everything you wanted. Some impressions: Flower Dept - things looked fresh and really nice. I may come back to buy flowers for my wife. Burger Bar - I had a cheeseburger to go, a little over salted but very tasty. Challah - I like a good sweet challah bread, not this one, tasted like cardboard, they need to check their recipe. Shrimp cocktail - the shrimp was tasteless and the cocktail sauce was a weird texture and tasteless. Cookies - bought a few, they were OK, a little greasy. Coffee - they have a coffee bar, I had the light roast, very tasty. read more

I was a first timer. I heard all about Wegmans so I had to see it for myself. It was pretty in store, lots of wood, reminded me of stew Leonard's but larger. It also has a train like Stew Leonard's has going around the ceiling. The aisles had fabulous selections of specialty cheeses and deli. The produce department was large and very organized. The meat department had great sales for bulk orders of 3 pounds or more. I tried the prime rib sandwich, "the Love it", which was prime rib on a Portuguese roll. The sandwich was tender and outstanding! The bread was just perfect and I craved it the next day! I also stopped by the hamburger bar and ordered a burger. The burger was delicious, perfectly cooked, and extremely tasty. The fries were crispy and also quite good. All in all it was a great experience. I will be back. The quality is there! read more
