And to make matters worse, I found out a day before I was set to go out of state! I was in a jam. I needed a car carrier. I went to UHaul in Cuyahoga Falls and spoke to the General Manager, Gabby. I walked in wearing my company logo Hoodia. Oops. Gabby and I had a laugh about it. Anyway, I told her about my situation and she happily was able to reserve for me a car hauler. I picked it up the next day and towed my collector car to Pigeon Forge TN for the big car show, the Rod Run. I just wanted to say that Gabby was wonderful and made my situation a lot better! She made my whole rental experience a pleasurable one and highly recommend anyone who is in need of towing equipment to go see Gabby at the Cuyahoga Falls location! And the Area Service Manager Mike was also very helpful to show me how their equipment (vs how ours is) works. Great job by all! ​

It is away from densely populated areas, though close to Ravenna and Streetsboro and I-80, I-480. It is a very secure facility; high fences and sturdy separated buildings, secured gated entry after hours. Easy access to facility and your unit. Office is on the premises, so they also keep an eye on things. Everything here is clean and well maintained. The office sells locks and related items in case you need them and, as mentioned earlier, the owner and staff are happy to be helpful. It is hard to imagine how a storage facility could be better. I am confident my stuff is safe from both weather and people, so that why I keep it here :)

Uniform/Embroidery/silk screen: This place is miss named. Route 14 Storage is a great storage facility, but, the embroidery, silk screen, uniform aspect is unbelievably diverse. Uniforms, logos, t-shirts, jerseys, security uniforms, novelty items, hats, pens, etc. all available at this facility. A graphic designer is on staff to help you design anything you need from hats to pants to pens to whatever you need (even shoes?). I love this place and the people who staff it! She then transferred the reservation to a store in another town without asking if that was something I wanted, then relentlessly refusing to discuss the matter further. Needless to say, her attitude and demeanor were unbecoming, going so far as to say during our interaction, "I know people like you." Clearly not. Terrible service.

I rented a van loaded everything into it, drove it to New Bern and then back up to Akron. The woman who worked there was very helpful and kind! The second time I came here, I needed a hitch installed so that I could rent a small U-Haul trailer and take my belongings to South Carolina. I had received the runaround from other U-Haul locations (even though I made appointments and prepaid!), and finally this location could get me in. I'm giving them only 3-stars because they did stop in the middle of my hitch installation to do another installation, then finished mine. I had to wait for several hours at this store because of the delay. This wasted a lot of my packing time, and I was under a strict time constraint due to my children starting school. I couldn't leave because they were installing the hitch on my vehicle, so I would've had to Uber home, and I wasn't sure how long they were going to take on the other guy's hitch installation. What if I Ubered home and then immediately called me to tell me it was ready? That was a risk of money and time wasting that I wasn't willing to take. Additionally, I had to come back the next day and get the ball for the hitch, because even though I paid for it, the installer did not put it on for me nor give it to me. It was a hassle that I did not have time for nor need in the middle of an out-of-state move!

When brought it up to the manager, Ross, he claimed the employee was new but refused to refund the additional charges. He was also bragging about how much his property was worth. Laughed (literally) at my disappointment over the unjustified charges. His head was so big and full of air I'm surprised it didn't float away! Honestly the kind of person that others avoid. Staff was also rude. Never had a bad experience with UHaul before but will certainly NEVER visit this location again.
