guy is really helpful. lady that works there not so much. when I called because my price went up she said an email was sent I said I never received it, she said it probably went to spam so I asked why wasn't I reminded when I called she's the one that took my payment she didn't even for courtesy mentioned it? and their elevator has not been working for months and they expect you to drag your stuff to another building to use thait elevator but they have the odassity to raise the price!!! read more

Very disappointed. I called the manager prior to driving to sign the contract if the unit I was interested qualified for the 50% discount. Over the phone they confirmed yes. They asked me to register online and come down to the office. When I showed up to their office and were signing contracts, I again asked if my unit qualified for the discount and again they said yes. I got my bill and was for the full amount without the 50% discount. They said I must have not registered correctly online, and they will not honor the agreed pricing. This is a scam. read more

The company has had my email on file for years. I was under the assumption that my payments were being debited automatically. Apparently the company wont notify you via email until all of your fees have added up to astronomical levels and your unit has already been auctioned off. Thieves and conmen. Not a fan. I chose the place because I was being deployed and needed a place to keep all my stuff, and this place came up as the cheapest. They charge an extra $9 if you don't prove you have renters insurance. I had renters insurance and had proof sent to them, although I guess it never made it to them. Could have been their fault, could have been my insurance guys fault, I don't know, so I won't rate them on that. After two to three months, they finally got the proof they needed and brought my rate down to the normal price, although they wouldn't refund the money that they had been charging me for renters insurance, even though the proof I had showed that I had had insurance throughout that entire time. I showed up to the place with my lock ready to go, but they said my lock was no good. There is a specific lock you have to use there, so I had to either find another store that sold that specific one, or just buy one from them. Don't remember the cost, but that set me back around another $15. You can only get into your unit from 7am to 7 pm, which sucks pretty bad. This is the only storage unit I have had in San Diego, so maybe a lot of places are like that, but I have had 3 other storage units in my life and all of those were open until around 10 pm, or were 24 hours. My credit card info got stolen while I was deployed, and when my wife called to update our credit card info with them, they said that she couldn't do it over the phone or email. They said that they had to send a letter to me (even though she had full power of attorney for me), so it could be updated that way. Snail mail to the ship take 2-3 weeks each way, so that was going to suck. After a couple weeks, I had not received the letter yet, so she called back and spoke to another employee. That employee gave a completely different answer. They said that she could do it over the phone and it was completely easy and quick.....ummm what? So was the first employee just making stuff up because they weren't trained right or something? Then finally on moving day, the lift was broken. Oh yeah, they do have lifts to the second floor, so I guess that's pretty cool. And as someone else mentioned, the ventilation must be bad because one of my small book shelved had mold on it. All in all, I would not be a repeat customer and am definitely not a fan. The guy who worked the front desk when I was checking out (he was new), actually told me to write a review on yelp. I thought that was kind of funny. Never had a company with so many bad experiences suggest that I write about them on yelp. Lol, poor guy. I was going to leave them a 1 star review, although with the price being low and the fact that they had a lift (even though it was broken at one point), I guess I'll give them 2. read more

Do not even consider going to this storage place! I'm am warning you. They steal here! I had my things in a storage here for 8 months while my husband was overseas on deployment. I was out of town at my parents house the whole time he was gone and when we came back to empty out our storage we notice our 60" Tv was not in the box. read more

I just got off the phone with Adam from corporate and he says I can authorize the manager to cut off the lock with a signed authorization. Lety who I spoke with over a month ago told me nothing about this when I told her I no longer had the keys to the unit. She pretty much said o well your screwed, let's keep charging you! I reported her to corporate and hope she gets fired for purposely trying to screw me over!! If she can do this to me, she will do this to any one. Please stay away from this company. My girlfriend just got taken by these scammers. She canceled a month ago and confirmed it with two employees that where on site and they confirmed her cancelation. She received a bill in the mail and was told that she never canceled and that she had to pay it otherwise it was going to go to collections. What started out as a temporary storage facility between residences has turned out to been a safe and secure storage facility for almost 2.5 years. Marisela and Jose are very professional and took time to introduce themselves rather than just accepting storage payment. Great place. Though you can only access your unit from 0700-1900. But the manager, Letty, let me see the unit and asked me about the size of the items I was putting in storage. Only real minus is that you can only use round locks in their facility. So you can purchase one there for $13.00 or try to find one else where. They offer insurance for $9.00 a month if you don't have insurance. But if you provide proof of insurance you are good to go. All in all not a bad storage facility. read more

No one ever likes getting a storage but if you are in need of one, I definitely give this place a look, I had an 10x10 here and got a great monthly rate and they gave me a 50% off discount for 2 months. Jose was the biggest help through this process and made it quick and painless. Stored some furniture here for about six months. I had an easy time getting signed up and moved in after a quick explanation of their policies and security system. I recently moved out and they were even kind enough to waive my next months rent even though I was technically past the cutoff for giving my move-out notice. So I told her I would only need it until the end of July when I came in to talk to her on July 9th. She only charged me for the admin fee and something else which came out to 28 bucks. BeAware!!! My experience was not a good one. I had things stolen from my storage unit. The units are not as secure as one may think. No cameras in the G unit and also there is a space large enough to get in/out of the units. Adam from corporate informed me that the insurance denied my claim due to no forcible entry. Dah why would there be forcible entry if one can climb over the top. Not rocket science. He informed me to send copies of the pictures I had taken of the openings to resubmit. Still pending. My thing were stolen and this was reported in Dec.2014. As far as the staff good luck the owner when told about this, basically blew me off........really? I called around to 6 different places. Every one else wanted over $100 for a 8x10 space. With insurance and my military discount it's only $81 a month for that same size. It's even on the ground level. By far the cheapest in town. It's clean. The people that work there are awesome. They went over the rules and clearly explain EVERYTHING. (Including the stuff the bad reviews are bitching about!) I bought the lock there. It's just like a lock from Wal-Mart. So YOU'RE the only one that has a key. Don't lose them! They warn you that you'll have to pay to have it cut off. The staff is awesome. I talked to Chris over the phone. Once I pulled up to the office, he showed me the unit. We spent maybe 5 minutes on paper work. He Cleary explained all their policies & regulations. The normal hours are 7-1900. Chris extended them til 2100 for the first week so I could get everything moved in. The manager walked in while we were wrapping things up. She's really nice. She was even kind enough to give me her cell phone number incase I had a problem. Oh, something really cool about this place. They have a donation room. They take sofas, furniture & other goodies! (No beds!) Then they auction it off and give it to charity! read more
