The place is very dirty when we got our storage the first thing we saw was rat poop everywhere!!! And to our surprise we found a dead mice inside the storage!!! Very disappointed! This world would be a better place if it had more Carmen's in it. We rented a storage unit from "A Storage Place" for one year. Today was our last day of renting a unit but it wasn't my last visit with Carmen. We read the same genre of books so I will use this common interest as an excuse to visit her and share books with each other in the future. Aside from Carmen being one of the most welcoming, warm, and friendliest person I have ever met, the facility is immaculate- super clean, with no pest or insect issues Nice landscaping. This was my favorite storage place that I ever had while I lived in CA. I liked the easy access to my storage 7 days a week. I was able to access it early and I believe till 9pm. I loved that they had dumpsters upfront that we could use to get rid of stuff we didn't want anymore. Many of the other storage renters did too by the fact they filled up very quickly! The areas around the storage spaces where always kept clean. You could almost guarantee that someone from the staff would be cleaning, sweeping or driving by while I was there. Carlos and Carmen made it very easy to keep my stuff at their storage space. They were very accommodating if we needed to upsize or downsize or just needed an extra space for awhile. They were always looking to see what they could do for me when I needed their help. read more

After looking around CV for a storage place, I came across this one. Some of the storage places in northern and/or eastern CV are a lot more expensive. This one was clean, had plenty of drive up units and at a fraction of the cost. Their hours are also better then some of the cheaper places. The staff here are all very friendly. I called around and did my homework-this place has the best rates in Chula Vista hands down. That alone would have made me give this a good rating. Two days after renting and paying for 2 months of storage, our house we were buying fell through and we no longer needed storage. We assumed we'd have to pay at least one month, and hoping we wouldn't have to pay the entire thing. Carmen was SO nice! They refunded it all (except admin fee-totally fair), was quick and easy.
