The Facility Manager Jadarius Thomas "JD" called me immediately to confirm my reservation. Today, I actually visited the store and "JD" and Anthony were very professional and welcoming. I was given a complete tour of the facility and I was extremely impressed, mainly because the facility is brand new. They have storage units in all sizes to meet your needs. JD explained the monthly storage rates to me and he also explained the affordable insurance options to protect my furniture from flooding and damages that might occur. I elected to take the coverage because I'd rather be safe than sorry. If your looking for a new and clean storage facility, I'd definitely recommend this location.

The gate to get in and out of the elevator is also a huge PITA. If someone is on the elevator and you put in your code on the first floor, the gate will time out and you have to wait for the other person to get on or off. There are signs everywhere telling ppl to drop off the carts in the LOCKED space inside the building - yet the manager still chooses to lock them in the admin building. If security and/or theft is that rampant, hire a security guard. Otherwise you're making it extremely inconvenient for the customer.

A rep from the location I was using called me to make sure I had what I needed to move stuff in less than an hour after I started the process but by then I already had access codes and locks and didn't need her at all. She didn't listen to the recording of Jontā the area manager promising me a discount. She didn't read the actual notes on my account that prove he has lied several times. She just believed what he said recently to defend himself, without proof. She admitted they made a mistake, but is forcing me to literally pay for it. She takes NO ownership of Jontā's lies & mistakes. I have proof of the mistakes, but she said it didn't matter.  She said that she could make more $$ off the street value of my unit. **The truth finally comes out.** It's a sleazy landlord raising the rent to force a longterm tenant to move so they can charge more to a new renter. She basically admitted as much. Then made a snarky remark insinuating that I couldn't pay for the unit, as if that's why I wanted the discount. NOT the case at all. How dare she even suggest that? I never ONCE said it was that i couldn't afford it. It's always been about fraudulent business practices. I have proof the discount was put into play for January, not December. THEIR  RECEIPTS SHOW THIS! That same receipt shows I'm paid in full. No late fees. But February's receipt suddenly includes a late fee for January & Feb. They also charge a late fee for 20% of the FULL amount of the rental fee. Not on the $19 discount that wasn't honored! I paid over $300, and they deposited it,  and STILL charge me a late fee on what I paid. Isn't that fraud? I owe $19, & the late fees make it almost $200! That sounds very sketchy. Check the reviews on Pissed Consumer and Yelp. He didn't honor the agreement, & there's been an upheaval in the local property mgmt. So the fact he didn't honor the agreement, causing me to have a past due amt. w/ongoing late fees, wasn't brought to my attention in a timely fashion. He's now denying he ever said anything to me about the discount. His notes in the system say he never spoke to me, but I have proof that he did. He claims there's a recording to back him up. IF it had been, why hasn't anyone listened to it to verify what was said? Why didn't Antonio,the new area mgr., listen to it instead of just blowing me off without even looking at all of the proof I've provided? An employee said, "Why would you just pick that specific amount when you've BEEN paying $30 less this whole time?" An employee, who knows the former acting area mgr., said when I relayed what was said to me by him that I sounded just like him. Helpful on the phone (would promptly call back if they missed my call), and nice in person. Anyway, I did a bunch of price comparison before hand, and no one could beat what they had to offer. Plus, the friendly neighborhood vibe is great. I live in Buckhead and it was well worth the drive to Decatur.

I never received it and when I called I was told by the gentleman on the phone that I was misinformed and that they don't pro-rate and refund would only be $15. Not so angry about the money as I am that this seems shady and that I was misinformed. Not a good way to do business!
