This is our second time using this facility. The first time was a great experience. This second go around has been a bit less great. I booked online which had glitches but it worked out. I needed to change my move in date (which was supposed to be the 30th) by two days and when I called the facility they said since I did it online I couldn't change it. That was frustrating and not very client friendly, especially when I got a call two days later telling me my move in day was the 27th and not the 30th... see the issue? Whatever, only cost me $400 to change the movers drop off day. Irritating to both me and my pocketbook. This facility is super clean, climate controlled and feels very safe. I would recommend them based on my two experiences, but wouldn't if it was solely based on this second go round. read more

One of the worse experience I had with a storage unit. They advertise that everything could be completed online. It let me schedule my moving for Sunday. It asked me to complete the forms, my ID, took my payment let me sign the contract, and it assigned me the Unit B404. I then get the confirmation email that ask me to see the manager for the gate code. The manager doesn't come until Tuesday. I ended up getting a different storage location that Sunday. I call on Tues to get my $126 back, the manager said they do not provide any refund. This is 2026, If you do not provide full online check-in Say so stop STEALING people's money. Save yourself from headaches go get another storage. read more

I don't usually write bad reviews but let me tell you, do not use stor America here in Sun Lakes I had paid for a storage unit for a client, the client needed to store some things while the home was listed. I always offer two free months of storage. After the home sold I transferred my storage unit to the client's name. Because the client decided to leave her storage there. We went there in person to the storage office and sign documents She gave them her card and they charged her that month for the unit. Over the next 2 months I have been getting charged and I just found out yesterday. When I went to talk to the person at the storage unit they said that I never told them to take my card off file and that's why they kept charging me. "And that I needed to get the money from the client." She refuses to give me a refund and told me "I will have to work it out with the other person." I asked her if I could speak to her manager, she looked at me and "said I'm sorry you cannot." I said why can't I speak with your manager. She said "because it doesn't work that way." I said can you give her my number and have her call me and she said "No I cannot." I said why not she said "well I can email her and have her email you." I looked your dead in the eye and said What if you had an emergency and she said "if I had an emergency I would call 911." With a smirk on her face.... So they want me to go back to my client and tell my client that they need to pay me back for the money that stor America took out of my account erroneously. I mean technically my client does owe me the money because they've been getting free storage but that is an uncomfortable conversation don't you think? Had to wait for the promised refund.. used StorAmerica for a move in January-February 2023. Sergio was friendly and as part of the initial tour, indicated that StorAmerica offered a Free Moving Truck usage, where we would only pay for gas. What a deal! Well, what a disappointment. Onthe day of the move into storage, upon turning the ignition of the truck, the check engine light was on. "No problem," says Sergio when he and his district manager (driving by) indicated that we would be remimbursed $50 if we showed a receipt from U-Haul or other moving coming. We did this by the end of the day. No refund occurred but they would check. Three weeks later and it's time to move out of storage. Great - by now the free truck is available. Then new attendant (not Sergio) then says the truck is still out of commission and offers the same $50 reimbursing. I ask what happened to the last one. They have no record of it. So I get the U-haul receipt again, bring it in and provide it to the attendant. The next say, there is a $1.75 reimbursement in an email. "Where's the $50?", I email back. No reply in 3 weeks. No phone calls are returned either. ---------- Follow-up: Sara, the district manager followed up with me immediately. After apologizing for the confusion, the $50 is being reimbursed. A+ for the follow-up and good attitude, bumping this review up to a 3-star. read more

Shopped around my area for a storage unit and found StorAmerica for a very reasonable cost. Visited on Saturday morning and Heather showed me an available unit, set up the storage agreement and was extremely helpful. I really liked that there are cameras at each door, making me feel that entry would be safe. I was able to complete my move in same day! read more

RE: Unit RV57 Auto Pay We set up automatic payments to be sure payments were received promptly on the first of the month. Although they deducted our payment for the month of Dec on the 1st in full, we were not advised whether or not we would receive the pro-rated rent back, when we moved our motor home on 12/7/22. Their contract indicates they MAY reimburse you for the unused days if you vacate prior to the 10th. From our recollection, this was not discussed at the time we rented our space in August of 2022. Additionally, there has never been a response to our follow up call, about their decision on the refund, on 12/8/22. Unfortunately, we were forced to move on 12/7/22, rather than the morning of 12/6/22, when we drove to the office to terminate. Their office was unmanned for a staff meeting for the entire day, and although they indicated they would re-open at 5:00, they were not back to the office by then. The purpose of my complaint is that since we never received the courtesy of a return call from their Corp office (promised when they returned the following week from our 12/7 move date), we are assuming we won't be receiving any refund. Whatever you do, we would recommend you DON'T set up automatic deduction for the rent through their office. This was set up in the first place, for their benefit, to be sure they were paid promptly. We are just moving into the area, and Tanisha was very helpful in serving our needs. We had a small sports car to store for a period, and about 50 cubic feet of possessions to stow, requiring secure accommodations. She worked to find the best compromise to meet this requirement. On Thursday, March 24, 2022, some criminals entered the secured storage facility and cut off 22 catalytic converters from Motor Homes and our work van. Our damage is over $3,150. We addressed this issue with store manager Diana P. and who said her district manager Sarah (last name unknown) is refusing to take any responsibility for the damage. We asked to get a phone call from the mysterious district manager, however, she never called us. Today, March 30 we talked to Diana P. again and asked for the phone number and number of her district manager and she said " I am very sorry, we can't give you this information " We expected to step in and help your tenants who pay $450 monthly for a " secured " parking space. The management of this facility will not honor your business relationship. It seems like a picture from the old west. We terminated our lease and asked our attorney to start litigation against this company. BE AWARE, these peoples are not considered trusthworty. Thank you Mike read more
