Took him to the periodontist that did the implant and all it was, was a piece of tooth that had been a remnant from an extraction working its way out and not an infection at all. His implant was perfectly fine the Dr. simply plucked the piece of tooth out and all is well. They were either idiots or they wanted us to pay thousands more for another implant. After many years of dental problems, I sought out a periodontist who would be near me, near where…read moremy mother was living, and be reasonably priced. It was a HUGE MISTAKE when I chose Concord Lexington Periodontics! Under their (non-existent) care I was subject to pain, infection, and lack of response to messages. It started with four teeth needing to be removed. I was told it would take an hour. It took nearly four! The 4 teeth were wrongly broken up into tiny pieces which had to be extracted 1 by 1. I complained at the time about all the debris going down my throat. 5 days later I was in the ED @ Brigham and Women's Hospital with severe bacterial pneumonia. They kept me there for 5 days! I didn't put it together, but 4 days after she pulled out the remaining teeth, I was back in the hospital again with bacterial pneumonia. They have no emergency phone number, and yet the doctor thought nothing of taking a three-week vacation. She refused to give me painkillers. I was living on amoxicillin, tylenol, and Motrin throughout the 6 week process. I couldn't go back there to finish & get the implants. After the pain and infection she put me through, the bone grafts leaked and it was clear I had to fire her. I went to my dentist who was agast by what he saw and immediately sent me to an oral surgeon to undo the damage that they had done. $2,000 later and I'm still healing from the surgery. NO ONE should go to this practice! It's butchery at its best. The pain, the sloppy work, and the fact that the periodontist herself showed no mercy & rarely returned phone calls and texts is reason enough to STAY AWAY!

There is a new owner, Dr. Verdier. I had been going to this practice for over 35 years (to see Drs…read more Bader and Freedman, who are now are retired) and been pleased about the care. Dr. Verdier's practice will not tell you if their staff has been vaccinated.They say it's government regulations; it's up to the individual workers to say if they are vaccinated; they are not mandated to be vaccinated. The dental assistant (not the hygienist) that was to work on me wore only a surgical mask and we were in a small room. She admitted when asked that she was not vaccinated. I was upset that she was defensive and this put me on the defensive. I refused the procedure which involved pictures of my gums. On a later call to resolve this matter, I was told that the assistant would not even wear an N95 mask, more protective than the surgical mask. The Dr. was also defensive as was the receptionist the front desk, all blaming government regulations. Dr. Verdier told me that maybe his practice is not the right one for me. I found another periodontist, recommended, whose front desk assured me that those working in their office were all vaccinated. Oddly the workers in that office were also not required to say one way or another whether they were vaccinated but at least the practice gave me an assurance they were and welcomed me.

My baby had to undergo extreme torture to correct all the cavities they told me didn't exist for 5 yrs. I took her there from gums to 5yrs old. When she started grinding her teeth. We then found out they were NOT a pediatric dentist office. They lied to me for 5 yrs!! The new dentist was amazing, but all in the room holding back tears as they had to address the negligence from the previous dentist office. As for me, they filled my cavities and when I told them my bite was not matching up she just randomly started drilling teeth, rolling her eyes to just shut me up . Obviously this did not fix the problem and seven years later. I finally have been able to find a Dentist who was willing to try after the disaster she had made.. for seven years. I've been grinding my teeth in order to eat to chew! The Icon Dentist made me get a mouthguard which only aggravated my TMJ and put me out hundreds of dollars. I honestly should sue them and M thinking about it since it's been about seven years and my daughter and I are still struggling from the negligence and lies that these so-called dentists dished out!

The staff member counted the cash in front of me and confirmed the amount I provided, and I gave permission to charge the remaining balance to my card. However, the staff member then took the cash to a back room for another individual to recount it. When he returned, he charged my card an additional amount that was not previously discussed or authorized. This appeared to be due to a mistake on their end, but I was not informed beforehand, nor was my consent obtained before the extra charge was processed. I am very concerned about the lack of communication and authorization regarding this transaction. Additionally, the staff member repeatedly spoke over me, even after I calmly asked several times to be allowed to finish my statements. This made communication difficult and added to the overall frustration of the situation. At no point did he acknowledge the interruptions or offer an apology, which felt dismissive and unprofessional. There were also issues with the prescription. It was initially sent to the wrong pharmacy, and when I called to have it redirected, I was told this could not be done because the original pharmacy had already packaged the medication. After speaking with multiple staff members and spending approximately three hours trying to resolve the issue, the prescription was eventually sent to the correct pharmacy. While the surgeon performed excellent work, the administrative and front office experience was frustrating, disorganized, and unprofessional. Due to these issues, I would not choose to use this practice again.
