At first we thought it was closed because all of the lights were off. But the main door was unlocked and we entered. There was 3 people sitting at the table in the middle of the store - they stared us down but didn't say a word. We wondered the entire store which was primarily books, movies/dvds/VHS & furniture, with a few odds and ends. I think my definition of "gift store" is different than theirs because I didn't see much that I would categorize in that department. The odor in this store was the usual thrift store aroma, with a splash of...something very unpleasant. We saw what looked like a music venue in the back with a few guys talking really loudly from that area. After wondering the store, we started to work our way to the front when one of the gentleman practically ran to follow us out. When we looked back at him, he pulled out his key and dangled it indicating he was locking the door behind us, still not saying a single word to us. Out of probably 5 people in that store, not a single one said anything to us. If they were closed, they should have locked the door behind them - it was Saturday late morning.... I would label this more as a used book/music/movie store. I definitely won't waste my time here again. Such a weird experience!

The lady at the register said "they are on the board". There were atleast 10 different "sales" listed on the board. I stated that is a lot to read. She was not interested. Thankfully, a kind gentleman shouted "red tags half off, yellow tags $1". Thank you. That works for me. Then while we were shopping another lady who I assumed was in charge yelled at 2 teen volunteers to stay on task or she would clock them out. It was uncomfortable for me and another shopper and we even talked to each other about it. They should not have been reprimanded in front of customers. Other than that this was a worthy stop.

Her customer service was pure excellence, and she was efficient and quick. We observed her with the customer ahead of us, who was elderly, and she was very accommodating to him. It didn't stop there, as she was very friendly with us as well. The aisles were pretty clear and even the restroom was clean. It is very rare to find all these qualities at once. Walked into the store and greeted by a stench that could only be described of wet dog and oh yeah…read moredog. There were 3 dogs in the store just lounging around. No respect for people who might be allergic to dogs. Dogs don't belong in an att store anyway it a professional place of business or at least it used to be. Secondly I walked in everyone was busy so I waited for 15 minutes. A couple walked right in and towards the back to the kiosk and when an employee finally became available they ignore me and went to help the couple at the kiosk. This is not good customer service. I won't even talk about the issues I have with att itself because that's even worse but hoping to get some local help well I guess not. Their local customer service needs a lot of work and don't use your store as a doggy daycare.
