My only suggestion would be to add a CNM as well to help with the OB patient load, since Stacey is a fabulous nurse practitioner but she can't do OB. I don't know that we will have more children, but if we do decide to, I know I'll be in good hands.

My daughter got an IUD placed here that lead to a diagnosis of IIH. It isn't the offices fault but…read morewhat I do have issue with is the fact that they wouldn't let me back with her for the IUD removal. She just turned 18 and was told that a they had to have it removed quickly. The poor thing was already anxious and the rude receptionist says to us as we arrive, "Do you know there's a balance? You have to pay it first." I pay it then she says, "you do know you can't go back with her, right? You can't even wait in the waiting room." I asked to speak to her provider and she refused. My daughter at this point is in tears. I said "can i at least request something for anxiety?" The receptionist said, "not today. If she wants something for anxiety she will have to reschedule." We can't reschedule because the IUD is literally causing swelling in and around her brain! The state of women's health is ridiculous as it is but then having this rude receptionist and crazy policies are making it ten times worse. I have been a loyal customer of this location for years and even started bringing my daughters here. I will not be returning.

I went to her in May for severe pain from ovarian cysts. I asked if I could get a hysterectomy because everyone on my mom's side of the family has had to have one. She did an ultrasound and found a fibroid tumor in my uterus as well an agreed to do the surgery. We set the date for July 24th. On the 23rd I got sick and called her office at 3 pm to cancel the surgery and had it rescheduled for September 11, 2019. Two weeks before my September surgery she had someone in her office call to tell me that they were canceling the surgery because she spoke with my nephrologist and they preferred to do it at a university hospital. What? After 5 months you're changing your mind. So I got to work. I called my nephrologists and she hadn't spoken with them at all and said they already given permission. So I wrote her a MyChart letter asking for an explanation. She told me she spoke with a urologist at the hospital and they were uncomfortable being in the surgery with a kidney transplant patient. My question is this. Why had she not asked this question back in May before agreeing to do the hysterectomy.? Why didn't she ask before the July 24th surgery date? Why did she wait 5 months to ask this question? Ovarian cysts cause severe pain which I've been having for 6 months. Now I have to find a new doctor affiliated with a different hospital. Have another consultation and then set a new date. All this could have started 5 months ago if she had asked the urologist at the time instead of waiting five months. What if I didn't get sick on the 23rd?. Would I have gone to surgery on the 24th and then been told nevermind I can't get someone to come in with me? This kind of negligence is ridiculous. I'm getting a new Dr.

The receptionist at the Crestview hills location insulted my husband due to his hair color the moment we walked in the door. She continued to be rude for the rest of our encounter. She called the APRN and PA "extenders" rather than medical providers, refused to use their names and acted as if they don't count as providers. The surgery scheduler doesn't return phone calls. The office staff makes this location extremely unprofessional and unpleasant. The medical providers are excellent.
