YUM! We stopped in for dessert yesterday and the choices were so many!! It was so hard to choose! I asked for a sample of caramocha- something, I can't recall, and thumbs up in that! Got that baby in a dish. Coffee flavored ice cream with a caramel ribbon and pieces of something chocolate swirled throughout. Don't know, don't care, want more! DH had apple pie ice cream and loved it. Friends had strawberry cheesecake and raspberry sorbet which are their favorites. My gut feeling is that if I lived in that town, I'd be there very often! They have very creative names for their sundaes -and one is the "Hank Scorpio" which I presume involves a blowtorch for at least one of the ingredients as other items involved torching marshmallows. Positives are that the shop is decorated in an adorable way and that there are plenty of flavors to choose from. Negative is that this is just overpriced Hersheys ice cream and it's definitely not homemade. I can get Hershey's ice cream anywhere Afro a fraction of the price. Only good things to say about this local spot! The staff was very friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Gave a lot of good recommendations and did not seemed bothered by us wanting to try a lot of samples. There were SO many flavors to choose from and so many super tasty sounding ones. Love that a flight was an option so we could try more flavors (flight came with 5 flavor choices). Super generous portions in the flight, which came in a waffle bowl as a bonus (for nothing extra)! Price was super reasonable as well. Would 100% go back and 110% recommend! Ice cream was super creamy and flavorful. We chose peppermint bark, key lime, oatmeal cookie crumble, brown butter bourbon truffle, and graham central station. All of the flavors has little chunks of extra in them for added taste. I was literally finishing the ice cream I got at another local shop (also delicious) when I saw the sign for this delightfully named place. So with my mouth still full of a competitor's product I strolled in, planning to get a small cup of something. Wondering around Delaware and Maryland and stopped in this small ice cream shop on the way back from St Michaels. Plenty of flavors, friendly works and good ice cream. I attempted to buy my 3 granddaughters ice cream from this establishment today, however, we were ignored upon arrival. Another customer, of another race who arrived after us, was greeted and his order was taken while we were still waiting. We were the only customers in line prior to the other customer. We left and drove to the Scottish Highland Creamery located in Oxford, where we were greeted upon arrival, order promptly taken and treated like customers should be. Oh baby is this a great place. First off I want to say how friendly and helpful the staff were. I really enjoyed this place and it is a MUST GO. The prices are also extremely fair for the amount of ice cream you get. I'd rather spend my money here than any chain ice cream parlor. So they have a ton of flavors and they're really delicious. You can get a flight of ice cream which is a great way to try a bunch of ice creams, however I wish the design was a little better. They scoop 5 ice cream flavors into one waffle bowl. It would be cooler if it was like a true flight of little ice cream cups. But I can't fault them for the idea because it's great! You get a generous amount of ice cream. This parlor is in the heart of downtown and a great location for walking and eating afterwards. They do waffle Wednesday's with ice cream and waffles which is a cute and unique idea. We went one evening, four of us, to get some ice cream and all the seats were full. Okay, so we ordered and got our ice cream and thought people would be done. Oh, they were, but apparently it's cool to sit and chat and hang out and take up space even if you didn't even order ice cream- and take seats while you make your children sit on the floor. I just don't understand this town- why are people so entitled?! Not to let you down, this ice cream is not homemade- it's Hershey's. But they do have a lot of flavors to choose from. I love local business, especially in downtown areas. I think it's important for the local economy. I always try to suppose local business when I come into a town. I unfortunately had a bad experience. They were open until 10pm. It was 9pm. After looking over all of their flavors while no one else was there, I ordered a small milkshake. My boyfriend noticed the girl waiting on us have an attitude because I guess they had just cleaned up everything and would have to re-wash the equipment. Not to mention, when she dipped my ice cream, her hair was hanging down in the tub of ice cream. Then, the other girl after 10 minutes asked my boyfriend what she could get him. While serving him, the other girl handed me my shake and I said "thank you". She didn't say a word. Now we are about to be rung up, the girl serving my boyfriend added gummies on top of his cup. While she was putting them on, not kidding... she ate one then rang us up. I'm not sure if she took one out of the container or one off of his ice cream? It was appalling. We paid. Then of course got in the car, and could not believe what just happened in the whole 15 minutes with no line to get ice cream. Why don't your workers greet customers and wear gloves.
