My husband and I came here with friends and their two four year old sons to pick out some pumpkins while enjoying our last day in Delaware. Parking was easy and they have tons of different pumpkins to choose from. I have to admit, we definitely found some nasty looking suckers, but there were also plenty of beauties to bring home. The kids loved hunting around for the best pumpkin, so it was a win regardless. You can walk through the patch to pick one you like, or they have some smaller pumpkins and super large ones already set aside in bins. Wheel barrows are there to use for your convenience. This was definitely a no frills pumpkin patch, but if pumpkins are what you're looking for than you've came to the right place! I was shocked at how inexpensive all the pumpkins were too. If you're bringing the kiddos along they also have a hay ride that runs every so many minutes. I want to say it cost somewhere between $2-5 to ride it. Ended up having to purchase tickets a week in advance. There is lots of parking on site. There is a lot to do outside of the corn maze itself. There were pony rides, zip lines, slides, swings, a hayride and more. Tons of fun! But, it was clear that we were not going anywhere without at least a pump for our tire, which we had just left at home (sure we wouldn't have needed it). We saw a few gentleman working hard on the upkeep of their beautiful farm, getting the land ready for some fall fun including a maze, slides, and so much more. When one of our troop went to find help, the most generous gentleman came to our rescue and offered to help immediately. He took on the car while offering us a stay with the many sweet animals of the farm: baby bunnies, loving pigs, and joyous chickens. He even brought in another gentleman, and another. They informed us that the car would need a change of tire, and completed the process for us. They stopped , what I'm sure was a grieving workday in the sun, to help us get safely back on the road, even giving us directions to the nearest tire shop to pick up some more tires.
