They took about an hour, unlike others who took 2-3 hours. We got 3 bids. Although Legacy was a little higher than another company, we chose Legacy because they said they'd move anything that needed to be moved to install the windows. Garry Sorrell kept me informed about the progress of my windows and always returned my texts. On the day of installation, The crew did an excellent job of moving furniture, removing blinds, and taking down curtains. Legacy also replaced old rotting wood around the windows where needed. When they finished, they put everything back as it was and cleaned up all the mess from the installation inside and out. They hauled away our old windows. I have had several new roofs on my house and it wasn't until I employed Maxim that I realize the previous roofers took shortcuts at my expense. The previous roofers failed to remove the old felt. Instead they improperly put a new felt over the old felt. When Maxim came, they discovered 4 layers of felt on the roof when it should have been a single layer of felt. These excess felt layers overly heated the shingles shortening their life span. Once the tiles are on the roof, most home owners are unaware their roofer short-changed them by leaving the old felt on the roof. Also Alex installed Class-4 shingles which I understand to be the toughest shingles available which can result up to a 22% insurance discount. Alex is one of the "good guy" roofers in an industry that doesn't have the best reputation. I trust Alex. Fun Fact: Alex is a strong man who can bend metal bars with just his hands...
