This 24 year old had the experience and knowledge like no other. Being that he knew the things he knew and could explain it, you no longer have to sale to me. I'll take it. Lol. This company got me financed fast and had a crew of 4 guys out here days later to put my roof on. These four gentlemen got my roof on in one day. Not only that, they also made it look as if they were never here. I am impressed by the professionalism and price these guys have. Yes, they are a bit more than some, but they do the best job in the best time I've seen. Thanks to you all here that took care of me and my family and made us feel better. I also paid for their best warranty called the GOLD WARRANTY, which is good for 50 years. This job was done six years ago, so the faulty installation of the drip edge should have been covered. They did not install the drip edge correctly, and they will not pay for the repairs that I had to have done, which came to $2,242.02. They nailed the drip edge into the molding and the facia, but it should have been nailed into what they call the decking or the underlayment. I watched a GAF video that showed that the nailing should have been other than what they did, but they would not pay for the repairs that I had ti have done and paid for already. I sent them several pictures of their faulty work and the repairs that are under way. They refused to give me any satisfaction. They said that they didn't do anything wrong, so I sent them a GAF video on how to install the drip edge, which showed that they installed it wrong. I spoke to GAF several times, but they assured me that it was not their fault, which I totally agree with. It was the installers - Coastal Carolina Roofing Experts. I will be contacting the Better Business Bureau of North Carolina to file a complaint with them. We paid good money for their GOLD WARRANTY, but it was a waste of money, because they would not honor it, even after they told me that THE WARRANTY DID COVER "MATERIAL AND INSTALLATION." I paid $16,638 for this roofing job back in 2019. I AM TOTALLY DISGUSTED WITH THIS COMPANY. I tried to call the telephone numbers at the top of our contract with them; two of them were disconnected and the other one was a car dealer in Toronto, Canada! GOOD LUCK!

Dakota showed me pics of the problems with the flashing on my chimney and other serious issues with my failing shingles. I've never heard of them before but I liked that they were quick to respond, showed me pics of previous shoddy work with my chimney flashing causing the leak, and other concerning roof issues. Dakota explained how they would repair my roof with illustrations so I could understand what I was paying for. We decide to have a full roof repair/replacement. They did my roof in just one day (2 story, the garage and wrap around porch. They are "head and shoulders above the rest" because they not only care about the construction, they care about the client. I worked with one main person, Dakota, from inspection to onsite construction to completion.a report built and continued from beginning to end. One person to talk to face to face/text/voice through all stages of the job. That is an amazing business model! What makes them "head and shoulders above the rest" was not only the fast and exemplary work and clean up they did, but also they cared that my medium to large dogs needed to go out midway during the construction. I was trying to figure out how to let my dogs out to relieve themselves, when Alex and Lucas offered to walk my dogs for me (I'm 60 and have a difficult time walking one--my husband walks them.) Alex and Lucas actually carried my 3 dogs out past the debris areas so my dogs wouldn't be in danger of stepping on nails and then walked them for me because I'm 60 and the dogs are strong and pull too hard. I didn't want to impose or take up their valuable time, but they cared and wanted to help being dog lovers themselves. Life Construction is the best experience and best results I have ever had in the 21 years of home ownership (built in 1981) doing repairs/upgrades/remodels with private contractors and known companies. I found out that Life Construction does it all because they build houses from the ground up. To quote Dakota "We're like one stop shopping, and no job is too small." The last part was in response to me asking if they could put a floor in with base boards on a bonus room. Life Construction are amazingly good people with excellent work ethic.

Immediate triage revealed a long term slow leak in my attic in which my decking was rotting and soft. Considering my house is only three years old you can imagine my displeasure. Started calling roofing companies immediately and with the rain still falling take a guess how many answered or called me back. Out of at least nine only one answered. Jennifer was one of the nicest people and actually followed through with calling me back within ten minutes to let me know Mr. Romero would be out within an hour. He showed up in 45 minutes and got right to it, sealing off the leak with an anchored GAF tarp. He even cleaned out my gutter downspouts while up there. Who does that these days? He wouldn't accept payment and said he could come out within a few days to replace the decking and shingles. I received an estimate via email within the hour and was taken back by his more than fair pricing. True to his word he was back within the week and my roof is like new again. During this process I learned Mr. Owen Romero owns the company, has a little over a dozen roofers working for him, is an honest family man and cares about his customers. The entire process was one of the most positive experiences I've ever had with a contractor. From Jennifer in the office, the communication, quality of work, price and the fact he provided pictures of everything he did spoke volumes to me.
