I had to make a service appointment for an oil change more than a month in advance. I arrived at 8 am and told them I would be waiting. They said they had others waiting and I would need to pick it up at the end of the day. I saw no one waiting and was a little insistent but they stuck to their story. I had to leave so I took my explorer around the block to my regular auto shop who did it for me on the spot. I've had only negative experiences at this dealer who's services are not customer friendly . All other dealers I've been to are 5 star but not this one. They lack in customer service and just everything. This dealer should look at what their competition is doing and either up their game or get out of the business. I won't ever go there again. I have tried to reach these guys on more than one occasion for service or parts. No one ever answers the phone, so I leave messages. No one ever returns my calls. Inexcusable. I am forced to go to Otis Ford, much further away for me, but at least they are competent. read more

Good luck getting the service department to answer the phone. Don't bother leaving a message, because they won't return the call. I left three messages over three days and then reached out to the Ford dealerships in Quogue and in Riverhead. Both answered their phones quickly and were able to offer service appointments in a timely fashion. read more

Service Department treated me very badly. I had an appointment for my new Edge because sound system was not working. Manager said that they would diagnose the problem and give me the estimate before they fixed it. I said I would wait never thinking it would be all day. At 3 pm they began to work on car. At 4 pm they told me that a wire was eaten by a mouse and was not covered by warranty. Since they close at 4:30, I would have to leave car there. I said I needed car for weekend and was presented with a bill for 2 hours of service work. Today I took my car to another dealer and learned there were no broken wires and that a part was defective. All covered by warranty. Do you think this has anything to do with the fact I am a Female Senior citizen?? read more

Car broke down on Friday. Towed into service on Friday night. Did diddly squat on Saturday (1/2 service crew). Diagnosed on Monday, but needed part (again 1/2 service crew). Got part and I get the car back at 1:30 on Tuesday. Not like anyone broke their butt to get this done as would have been done "up the island". Car works fine...thank you. Love Storms Motors !!! Been buying and or leasing cars from this well established dealership since 1997. The best of the best service department carries through in all of their brands. I recently brought in my 1984 911 Porsche "Turbo Look" Carrera for new tires and a four corner balance and alignment , oh yeah an oil change as well. When I picked up my car it was washed and ready for the road. It drove better than ever before, and they gave me a loaner car too ! The general manager/owner is very knowledgable and professional when it comes to running an outstanding car dealership. Terribly rude front desk girl. They told us they were too busy to guarantee they would even look at the car, then their partner dealership called asking if they needs help and they said no. Service reps didn't try to look up our warranty or rental until we asked three times and tried to say that if there was a leak it was probably because we hit something while driving. Not sure they've ever heard of customer service out here. read more

I called to inquire about fixing my antenna on my car. The antenna was fine but the base part came loose and broke on my jeep and it needed to be replaced (from a car wash). I filled out a form online to schedule an appointment. They emailed me back and scheduled me for the end of the week. When I inquired about how much it would cost to fix such a minor thing on the car they said no matter what is wrong with the car I would be charged a flat fee of 110.00 THEN they would charge me labor and parts. When I told them I would have to shop around the girl was incredibly rude on the phone and said "you do that"! Literally. I said..."GLADLY" I got it fixed without having a $110 flat fee at another Jeep service dealership SOMEWHERE ELSE. read more

Horrible service. Purchased a 2014 jeep from them. Right away the welding under the car was faulty causing a massive oil leak. Something they missed when inspecting it. When I tried to call to get it repaired they tried to trick me into voiding my warranty by insisting it could be taken somewhere else since it would be faster. While there i decided to test their honesty. I had gotten an oil change 300 miles ago and asked if i needed one. They insisted the oil had been very old and charged me $50. Some way to treat someone who gave them over $20000. At 9000 miles the window stopped working. It took a week to get a return phone call from them and then another 3 weeks to get my jeep an appointment. Dropped it off at 8:30am and was told in the afternoon it would take another day to fix. Started asking around after that. I was told by three other customers that they had similar problems, some more disturbing than mine. (Check unrecommended reviews for more issues. Both employees mentioned pulled the same thing with me.) read more

Great customer service! I didn't buy my car from there because I'm from out of town but when I needed a bit of help getting the top of my jeep wrangler up/down, they were more than happy to help. Of course I paid for the service, but I got service with a smile and they were very patient while teaching me! Definitely going back if I ever need help with my car while I'm out east. read more

What a terrible experience. Do not deal with these people. I have leased 4 jeep/Chryslers in the last three years. I have delt with another dealer for 3 of them and I'm sorry that I bought the 4th from Storm motors. The salesman was nice enough. The finance guy Jerry (I think that was his name ) is a giant dishonest sleaze ball. The GM was supposed to call me back on 3 different occasions and never did. I finally had to make a credit card claim. I guess they do not believe in repeat business. There are plenty of other dealerships. Save yourself the headache. read more

Went to look at some explorers and the sales person was sitting behind a desk. I was looking in the car and the salesman did not even get up from behind the desk. He never got up to greet me or welcome me into their business. I asked questions and he just sat there. When I asked for a test drive he did eventually get up and go get the key. He brought the car around and came back into the building and sat back down at his desk. He then told me the car was ready for me to drive. I got in the car and the gas level read 20 miles left. I came back in and he said that it was too inconvenient to get gas at the gulf station down the street. The building looks like it has not been renovated since the 70's when ford was hawking pintos that exploded on impact. The ladies working at the counter were all past middle age in tank tops and looking very leathery. The explorer I was looking at was over $50K. This business lost my sale. With the little gas in the tank, I could not even take the car out on the highway. What a bunch of Putzes! Don't buy a care here. read more
