The multitude of blatant fraud committed by salesman Nelson Resnick is too extensive and complicated. It is imperative that I post this one to provide an urgent warning to potential customers. Nelson Resnick instructed that the multitude of vehicle value website cannot be considered in determining the value of a vehicle trade in. He then insisted that there is a New Yor state mandate that any vehicle that is 10 years or more old, the maximum trade in value cannot exceed $10,000.00 and the vehicle must be sold via auction when the dealership accepts ownership. This is an intentional malicious blatant lie. I did not question him due his long term vehicle sales employment history and relentless repetitive insistence he is correct. The vehicle I traded in was valued at $7,000.00. I accepted that amount based on Mr. Resnick's relentless assurance he is correct and there is no option due to NYS mandate. After accepting my vehicle, the dealership sold it to Cody Stewart, owner Stewart Auto Group North Canton Ohio for the purchase price of $22,000.00. The vehicle was given to the dealership on 1/3/25 and as of 3/25/25 the Title and Registration was not transferred and it remains without completion or transfer to the current owner, Cody Stewart. All attempts to address this most alarming course of events of fraud and breach of dealership responsibility to transfer a Title within 30 days is ignored. I have composed and sent countless e-mails to Buzz Chew owner, Bryon Chew with all the information I exhausted countless relentless hours searching for the status of my vehicle including the NYS DMV Title and Registration and indisputable substantiating evidence of the sale to Cody Stewart for $22,000.00 and am perpetually ignored. On 3/2/25 Alex Stewart, son of Cody Stewart, informed me that Bryon Chew bought the truck back for the full amount of $22K and it is scheduled for transport back to Southampton. The amount of relentless pursuit of information and submitted extensive reports and documents to governing agencies has and continues to be outrageous. I figured I would write this review considering the fact that most people tend to voice their opinions on negative experiences they've had, more than they do with positive experiences. Buzz Chew's service costs are not that great (although they're somewhat close to on par with other GM dealers further west from what I've seen - local shops out here offer slightly better prices), but I do have to say that my most recent experience at Buzz Chew service, particularly with Dan (tall thin guy), was great! I dropped off my car early in the morning to have my car checked for a check engine light code. Several hours later, I get a call from Dan telling me that the car had been repaired (under powertrain warranty apparently), and that they noticed my car's inspection was past due, so they performed it for me. I picked up my car, repaired, inspected and washed. I did read what Nina C. wrote about Dan in her review (I'm assuming it's the same Dan), but the last few times that I've been there, he's been friendly and professional. I'm not defending him, because I don't know what the circumstances were, but he was courteous with me (maybe he was just having a bad day). In any case, my most recent experience was a pleasant one, and I thought I'd share it here. I will say, some of the members in the service department don't seem/sound too friendly, but then again, that's just how they appear. If their prices were better, I'd give them four stars (although I don't think they have much of a choice in that regard). read more

We began our search for a Camero at Buzz Chew in Southampton with Bob White he was straight forward and easy going but they didn't have the type of camero within our budget. So we looked up the nearest location with what we wanted. We called that dealership and over the period of 3 days we worked with 3 different people to just try to get 1 car all of which I would call nothing short of charlatans. After the 3 days of ruining the entire experience of getting a new car. We called Bob to see what he could do and within 2 days he completed the entire process and brought our new car down from upstate New York. He is not only a nice guy but a bit of a miracle worker because he restored that excited feeling you want and can experience when getting a new car. I bought my truck from Buzz Chew and have had it serviced there from day one. I have only had minor issues. Check engine light came on, tune up, oil changes etc. Every time I brought it in I ASKED for Dan. He was always polite and courteous. He gave me an accurate estimate of how long my car would be at the dealership and always had it ready when promised. I read the other reviews and don't believe it. By far the most indifferent, uncaring service department we have ever done business with. Both my Cadillac Escalade and Chevy Tahoe have been serviced there. Had to drive the tahoe 20mph miles to the dealership, transmission issue. To be met with , Dan, by far the rudest service assistant on the planet. Asked me what the problem was after . The transmission was rebuilt by Buzz Chew and was still under warranty. Horrible, long drawn out experience that lasted two weeks. I swore never again. No loner offered. Had to argue every step of the way to not be recharged for service they already claimed they performed. Have had multiple issues when taking in my escalade. Just a horrible place. How there are radio commercials played all over the east end touting the greatness of Buzz Chew is a joke. I don't know how this place stays in business. Brought, our Chevy trail blazer for service, ck engine was on, discovered it blew a valve. Three weeks later they say they fixed it had to send it for machine wrk, one week later the car starts warning of over heating and then it dropped to 100 , turns out it needed antifreeze, was so low it was ridiculous. They never called or offered a loaner car, they had my car for thre weeks! The person I spoke with had the usual who careers attitude. It was unbelievable and now it has more problems. The service personnel Could care less, and considering how long it took for the repair they should of offered a loaner car especially for $2500+.
