Extra space has worded their contract in a way that they accept no responsibility for anything. Do not move your belongings here if you like having them. I would not recommend this location or company. I was unloading my vehicle using the company push…read morecart and when it hit eight, it would no longer let me inside the building. I had a whole car load of stuff on the cart and I called support for help and spoke to Walter and he smugly told me that this happens all the time and I should have done this before 8 PM. The crazy part is the door used to not even lock and you could access it at any time of day so how bizarre of me to think that I could still get in after 8 PM when I previously have been able to. Walter then went on about how this happens all the time and there's nothing that he can do and I posed the question to him of what if my unit is open or what if I left my car keys in there and wasn't able to leave or even what if I left my phone in there there? What in the false imprisonment. To that Walter said you could come back at 6 AM and your code would work. You would think with the remodel that just happened when life storage became extra space, that they could also afford have security or to remotely access the lock devices on the doors. I also told Walter that I was in possession of the company push cart with all of my stuff on it and he told me to make sure that I left it somewhere safe are you joking? That's your concern? I then asked to speak to a supervisor because of Walter's decorum and he let me know that someone would call me back in 48 hours. Highly doubt I'll get a call. Walter also thanked me for being a customer since 2020 at and again told me I can come back at 6 AM. I have work at 6 AM Walter! Okay and not to mention that this place also has a rat problem. I hope the push cart gets stolen since I can't put it back into the building. -1000/10.
