Update to review: The manager reached out to me and and cleared up the issue and gave me the deal that I was promised prior to move in. It's just frustrating that it took a negative review before things were made right. However, This is a great facility and I would absolutely recommend it to. I suggest requesting a email confirmation of any specials that you are to receive if you reserve over the phone.
If ratings were solely based on this facility, I would give it a 5 star. Unfortunately my experience with the staff and the miscommunication between each other and the false information that was given to me multiple times have affected my rating.
Initially when I called to make a reservation, I spoke with a lady that was very helpful giving information about the units, the layout of the facility and an estimated size unit I would need for my belongings. She informed me of the move in special that was going on which led me to inquire about a military discount. She said that I would be able to receive both but that she would have to apply them both at once and would have to apply the military discount after move-in. I didn't think anything of this at the time...
Fast forward to my move-in day about 7 days later... I go to the office and a lady that typically works at their site in Stockton is helping me. She was helpful as well and as I was filling out paperwork, I reminded her about the move in special and military discount that I told I would be given. She then told me that they usually don't do both discounts at her site in Stockton, that it was either one or the other and said she couldn't apply both, (she looked up the name of the lady that made my reservation on my profile) but said if the lady said both could be applied there shouldn't be any issue and that she'd leave a message for the manager to add it and give me a call to update me when it was applied. At this point I was feeling weary if I was going to get the deal I was told I would but I needed a unit as my house hold goods were being delivered and I needed a place to store them.
It's now been 3 weeks no call. I went to the store to ask about my discount being applied and I was told that they wouldn't do it.
I guess StorQuest made out in this one. Typical business tactics to get customers in. Lie to the customer, get their belongings in the unit and tell them the deals you promised aren't possible. I'm pretty sure they recorded the phone conversation, so it was be an easy playback to verify if they wanted to go by their word.
Other than feeling jipped on move in pricing, it's a nice facility. Hope nobody else has the same experience as me.
