Beware of exorbitant rent increases! I rented a 5 x 14 unit in May for $85 per month. In July, I got notice that my rent would increase to $176 the following month. That's right, they more than doubled the rent with a single increase only a few months in. The best part is they're currently advertising the same size unit for a non-promo rent of $114. I would have been a long term renter here but moved out the day before the rent increase. I'll never do business with StorQuest again. read more

Ater several months of paying the agreed-upon price of $140 per month, StorQuest raised my storage space rent $32 for a total of $172 per month. I get that the economy is hammered, interest rates way up, and businesses make the general public pay the difference on profit (thank The Fed for how we're dealing with inflation... don't limit businesses but instead sock it to the general public). But waiting till customers are settled in and then hitting them for a 23% increase? I'm sorry. The place is nice, secure and has nice people working there, but this kind of rate increase is predatory. Check your contract more carefully than I did! read more

I am in with store quest. You can see recent reviews have me in my adventure coming back to California. Putting all my crud somewhere is a part of that and storquest was there to help. I got a 10x13 unit, he had a few options for me as we did the tour around the campus. The room is nice, not a Ritz but for the price it is great. They had two carts for me to bring up to the second story which helped the moving process along. Really easy to pull my uhaul around. The contract was easy to understand. They get the rating because of the combination of location, ease of using the units, kindness/helpfulness, price and availability. read more

Let me first say this is the first time I leave a Yelp review! But I have never experienced customer service like this. Laura is unbelievably amazing!! Today I was hauling a rental truck and car trailer to pick up a motorcycle I was storing there. I was worried because the rental truck wasn't equipment with a ramp. I asked the associate if they had ramps I could rent or something of the sort. She said they didn't have that and then proceed to ask why as she could she I was visible anxious (I'm a 5'1 female who was trying to figure out how she was going to load a 250 lb bike into a truck with out a ramp). I told her the issue I was facing and she offered to help me figure out a way to load the bike but mentioned she would have helped lift it with me if she wasn't pregnant. We ended up finding this makeshift ramp made of scrap wood and somehow where able to get it up into the truck. I would like to mention that I never asked for her to help she just did it out of the kindness of her heart. I don't know a lot of people that would go the extra mile to help someone with a physical favor, while pregnant, in 95 degree weather! She also help me back my trailer and truck safely into the street! I would literally use this facility again just for this amazing experience! Thank you Laura!!! Forever greatfull!! I was provided 30 days notice, but a rate increase only two or three months after I signed up is what I find ridiculous.

I love this place. The managers were very helpful and knowledgeable when we started the whole storage process. Whenever we see them, they are polite and just happy to be at work. The storage facility appears safe and the price is good so far. read more

I recently rented a storage unit here and am still in the process of filling it up. The location is very convenient and the facility appears very secure. The grounds are clean and well-lit, and although I've stopped by at different times of day to drop off items, I've always found a handcart available, which really makes moving easier! Dina K., the manager in training who facilitated my rental, was professional, friendly, knowledgeable, and navigated me through the process in what seemed like no time. I've rented a storage unit here for almost a year now and couldn't be happier with the location, level of security and safety I feel here, ease with billing, payment and, especially Rene and Bob who manage the property. They are not only helpful, professional and friendly, but extremely accommodating. I was able to put my name on a short waiting list to secure the exact size and location of the unit I wanted. Well lit, secure coded gate going in and out, flexible hours and clean units as well as the hallways and parking areas. I would highly suggest for locals, professionals, college students needing to store items during the summer or anyone else who needs a storage unit. Conveniently located close to the Claremont Colleges. I can't say enough about the management team at this location......A+. read more

I rarely yelp, so when I do it is because I love it or am very disappointed. Storquest raised my rate close to 10% in a year. Twice showed up for help and manager was gone. Both times for over 45 minutes. Today I couldn't find the manager, called first 800 number on door and got message that it was after hours. Called second number and was told that manager wasn't answering his cell. I had to insist that they keep calling until he answered. Found out he was at the post office... because the mail man doesn't show up here??? Of course the postal service show up at this location! Find a different storage company in the area if you can! read more

I'm sad to say but when we started storing our items at this location it was EverGreen and they ran the company and the facilities wonderfully. As soon at Storequest took over, the rates go up about every two - three months and once you have your stuff there it's too difficult to move it out. The customer service it terrible as well. It is sad that when Storequest took over they didn't keep up the same quality of customer service. I would NEVER store my items in any Storequest after this experience! read more

Since Storquest took over this place is a nightmare. First there was the contract. I had to come in and sign a new contract, Couldn't do it any other way. Then then the increases. 141 to 151. My auto pay didn't catch up fast enough so the 141 was rejected and I had to go in write a new check for 151 and then deal with the autopay check for a refund. Then it went to 161 - same year, two increases - and again auto pay didn't catch up so again I had to go in but this time I only had to add a check 10$ for 161. Next time we got the autopay done but then it mysteriously went to 162$ the following month. The fee had increased 1 dollar because I was paper billed so again they rejected my payment wanted us to come in and replace the 161 check wih a 162 check. Then they said OK, if you accept paperless billing we'll wave the 1$ fee - so back to 161$. And now they're calling 1 month later looking for their 162 and reminding me that the rent is due - a week from now - on a Sunday morning. Unbelievable. And I forgot to mention that when Storquest took over they demanded an insurance rider that proved I'd insured MY goods or they'd hit me with a 10 per month fee. More hassle. I've been a customer of theirs since 1993 and by my calculation paid them upwards of 40k and we're never been late on payments. Steer clear of this place. The staff is nice enough but Storquest is an evil landlord. read more
