On March 12, 2026, at 8:40 PM, Redmond, WA intruders pried open the front doors (supposedly locked after 6:00 PM) and burglarized only our unit at the far end of a hallway. No security cameras exist in any interior hallways, so the crime went undetected; police report (case #26-007076) confirms the suspect left by 9:10 PM. Management (Jacob Davis) gave minimal help and zero constructive follow-up. When we followed up a week later, Jacob turned hostile and then issued an eviction notice based on a completely fabricated claim of improper conduct in the facility--with no video evidence or proof ever provided. Inadequate security, missing hallway surveillance, indifferent staff, and baseless eviction tactics make StorQuest completely unreliable. I haven't needed to rent a storage unit in many years. StorQuest was offering a really good deal at the time, so I decided to give it a try. Melinda who is the only employee at the Lake Stevens location is A-mazing! Her customer service is the best I've seen in a long time. When I walked in, she was helping a couple, showing units, answering the phone, acknowledging those that were waiting in line, and did it all with a smile on her face! I didn't write a review when I first got my unit and I apologize, The staff made my day just for being the humans they are , thank you Jesse!!! Explained how every thing works , gave examples of unit sizes and showed me around even helped make my account . Months later they still are very kind with friendly reminders about my monthly bill and make paying super easy . Again I can't thank you enough for putting your customers first . Fairly new and well maintained facility. Connie in the office was great and she remembered us over the following weeks as we were moving things into the storage unit and always waived or said Hi. The only draw back is that it's on a state highway and if you're coming from the west side, there's no good place to get across. Study google maps and come in from the back. I needed a unit asap and thankfully Melinda was there and was a lifesaver she got us in really fast and was very helpful which was refreshing to see! She even helped us unload a superheavy item with out asking plus she keeps the place looking very neat and clean inside and out and honest about everything! Beware! They will wait until you move your stuff in and then jack up the price. We rented 2 units and after 90 days they jacked up the price 60 dollars a month! Don't trust this company with your stuff! I called the customer service first and was given en a sorry about your luck response. read more
