I saw an Instagram ad about submitting a story for a senior dog photo session and decided to enter. I was later told I "won," and when I asked about cost, I was told "that was the best part" and that it would be completely free aside from a $50 deposit to secure the appointment. The photo session was very short, about 15 minutes total. We also scheduled a Zoom meeting during the session, but later found out they booked the wrong day, and since our requested time was full, we had to reschedule. During the photo review Zoom call, we reviewed about 8 decent photos and learned that packages start at $2,000-$4,000. Even with a "$500 discount" I supposedly won, the total was still over $1,500. Overall, the experience felt misleading and emotionally driven, with pricing only disclosed afterward. Pricing should be transparent upfront and customers' time should be respected. read more

Hard to believe if they are legit or not. Signed up for a free Mommy and Me shoot for the month of "OCTOBER ONLY", only for them to change it and then delete the post off Facebook so there is no evidence to go back too. Supposedly FREE, but I still had to cough up $50. Messaged to cancel and weeks go by and apparently it was never cancelled and the photographer started texting me. As of today It has since for sure been cancelled and I'm now waiting for my refund, but the business seems very questionable. If I'm wrong, that's fine. We won the entry on IG. The whole photoshoot was very fun and quick. My daughter felt beautiful and supported. They obviously did try to sell pictures and bigger canvas but that's normal for a business to do. Once I told Sierra that we're moving and not in a position to take on anything, she offered to just give us the free one and also $50 deposit went towards digital copy which is fine by me. Overall, we had fun. My husband is a photographer himself so we have a lot of photoshoots already espeically out in nature, but the whole setup is so cute here. If you can afford it I highly recommend. If you want to the free one, you should try out and just be firm yet polite during Zoom consultation you should be fine. After my review yesterday Stephanie called me this morning..I explained everything that happened and to be Completely honest I wish I would have spoken to her from the beginning! I am still not happy how everything happened but Stephanie really made me feel better she apologized for all the misinformation and the way things were handled she did mention I was a clear winner of that $750 certificate and she is sending me the print that I was able to purchase that with and I was happy that even with my deposit she offered to send me two extra digital photos I did mention I loved the studio experience it was great I loved all the photos and I wish I was able to afford more this studio definitely takes pride in what they do and I'm sure with proper training and communication everyone will be on board! My granddaughter had a wonderful experience at the studio. The girls there are super sweet and I love how they interact with the kids coming in for photos. The gal that worked with us was GREAT! To see my granddaughters face light up when she saw her dressing room with the mermaid outfits and the fun accessories, was pure joy. The girls that were working with us during our photo session were so interactive and patient with my granddaughter. Overall it was great. I simply loved the experience I had with this company. They were very patient and compassionate with my girls and I. We won one of their giveaways and drove from out of town to participate. They were patient when I arrived a little late due to a wrong turn and still made sure to make my girls feel special. After the photo shoot, I missed to original zoom call because of work, but they quickly helped me reschedule. During my call they helped put together a small package that I could afford so I could get a few more photos aside from the free print. Normally this luxury service is outside of my budget but I'm so glad they were willing to compensate me. I hope got their names right, but Candace helped with photographing my girls and Sienna helped put my package together! I definitely hope to return in the future. read more

It's amazing that they are in business with their prices what they are. We were selected as the winner of a $750 gift certificate (I'm pretty sure all who enter are "winners") which got us one 8x10 photo with a very poorly photoshopped unicorn in it. The photographers and photo shoot experience were nice enough, especially if your child is into dress up and princesses, but I cannot believe anyone sees the value in paying what they ask for the photos themselves. I also found their initial pitch to be a bit ridiculous- they speak about their work as though they are curing cancer. Maybe the impact of having a picture displayed is as significant as they claim in homes where there were no pictures displayed previously, but those families certainly aren't their target market. The photo we received isn't something I'll display due to the amateur photoshop attempt, so unfortunately it wasn't worth the 2 hour round trip. At least it's not entirely out of focus like the photoshopped butterflies that were an alternative that I made a note to avoid based on the photos displayed in their lobby with this option shown. Just know what you are getting before driving out to the middle of nowhere to do the session. The staff are very nice, but in my opinion they need a reality check when it comes to pricing and a class on how to do realistic looking photoshop additions. read more

As far as the photo session itself, kids loved it! Great experience for them! Unfortunately for me, their grandma, it's been far from great. They could sell snow to an Eskimo, really great sales skills. I agreed to pay $400.00 a month and I am a cancer patient and needed to get this highly recommended protocol which was very expensive! I asked if I could reduce the package size and explained why and was denied. The pictures have not been printed yet so I was shocked when they said no. THE ONLY THING I COULD DO WAS REDUCE THE PAYMENT PER MONTH!! Absolutely no refunds which I didn't want anyways, they just made sure I knew I would lose every dime I've spent thus far, including the free 8×10 . I ended up reducing it to $100.00/mo and had a pretty major vehicle repair to pay for so again, it wiped me out. I have $400.00 left to pay and all I'm getting is emails with links to apply for 3rd party financing! All they care about is the money! So now when I do get the pictures finally, everytime I look at them, memories of greedy vultures that could care less what one is going through financially! To tell me NO to reducing my package size so that I could afford to live and still pay for the pictures so that I could get the pics by Christmas 2024, is terrible business practice in my book. I never asked for a refund, just a smaller package so that I could give to immediate family for Christmas. $400.00 left to pay and Absolutely will not reduce my package size shows that this company is VERY GREEDY! I could understand if the pics have been printed already but they do not print the pics until you're done paying for your package. Unless you have $2,000 to 5,000 dollars available right now, don't even waste your time. Then to top it off, you never get to see the pics with the unicorn or the flying dragon bc it's photo shopped into the picture. What happens if I think it looks cheesy? I'm stuck with it! So long story short, I do not recommend this company. Just google "fairytale potraits" and pick a different place. I did and other places are cheaper too. This place is only cool if you got a lot of money to spend right now which is why there are good reviews. We "won" a free photograph session on facebook with a 500 dollar credit towards framing. I mention not being in a position to spend that kind of money on framing. I was told there were many options that I could work out during the viewing session. So in good faith I agreed to do it. The lack of transparency on upfront pricing should have been red-flag number one. At the viewing they had you select the photo arrangement you wanted and what it might look like in a room. So naturally you pick your favorites and get excited about it. And then they present you with the cost and it was jaw-dropping. Ranging from 1500 to 7700. So quickly we went from five prints to one and there was no other option or work around given to us. They keep touting It's heirloom quality that it's printed on to justify cost but yet you still have to frame it to keep it heirloom quality. Anything could be heirloom quality if you put it in a frame with glass over it. They didn't persay pressure us, but we were unhappy with how much it cost after making it seem they would have a reasonable option. And when we asked to just buy one print since three was not in the cards, it was $1500 minus 500 credit which still seemed completely unreasonable for a board print. But then they psychologically get you because you feel like you owe them something since they gave you free session and "credit" and you have to decide during the viewing in a fixed amount of time. It's hard to think clearly with that pressure on you and limited options. I do think if they cared about our full experience they would have taken into consideration our reluctance to spend so much on a print. what I should've done was ask for just digital prints only if that was even an option. She did include the digital as a " deal" with the one photo we selected for print, but didn't tell me she was then going to charge extra for them. I didn't notice that until we paid and was Emailed the invoice. Of course it says no cancellations or changes. They work hard to sell you the emotional experience of how amazing you and your kids should feel about their photos. Another effective ploy to get you to commit to the price. I would have been happy paying 250 for the photo session and another 100 for digital prints to take elsewhere. So now 1100 dollars later, I am told I still need to frame the one print and have to spend more somewhere else to print the digital copies. Now I will feel like a sucker every time I see those portrait of my kids. Not how I wanted to feel about this experience that I was sold would be "magical" and initially free. 5 stars awarded to them in working their magic in getting you to cough up a grand and making you think it was done by your own volition. The amount paid for the product undid my positive memories from the photoshoot. What a let down:-( read more

I actually never heard of this place before. I was scrolling through FB & saw a give away to 1 lucky winner (daily I think it was for a month. Don't quote me) & I decided to enter my daughter in. Like most 13 year olds we know that time can be difficult. That rained beyond true for my daughter. She fell into a deep depression with anxiety. She is so beautiful inside & out! She is an honor student, does charity, good social skills, & is driven for college already. I took her isolation as a normal teen thing till I saw this light about her dim & it caused her so much anxiety that one day I saw her shaking in her room. After a lot of work on our parts as parents but getting her help too, she finally is back on a healthier path! I thought this would be a great way to welcome her back into her self esteem building. I entered a FB giveaway and was grateful to be selected as a winner. Instructions ahead of time were easy to understand. We had to out a deposit to hold our spot which I understand. Our experience was great. We were greeted and taken back in a timely manner to the fitting rooms. There are several princess wardrobe options. I do wish to see more boy prince costumes, but I'm glad there is at least the option. All staff were so friendly, and the photographer and her assistant did a great job posting my princess and making the shoot go by quickly so it was efficient. I placed an order with 2 prints and 6 digitals. They print their portraits a very special way to ensure long lasting quality.
