A minimum age of 50 is required for membership, and the facility offers meeting rooms, libraries and clubs that interact with the community. Some of their clubs include book clubs, photography clubs and line dancing clubs. There is also the 'Area Agency on Aging' located within the building, and also a 'Community Action Center'. The Burnham Brook Community Center in Battle Creek, Michigan is a sizeable building in downtown, offering approximately 10,000+ square feet of facilities. With membership, one can take advantage of their fitness room, Billiards, evening dance classes, yoga classes and even build something in the wood shop! There is also a sizeable parking lot, and the center makes available its rooms for rent for outside community activities in the area. The rental rates are reasonable, and one is required to rent a room for at least a 3 hour window of time. Located at 200 West Michigan Ave, the facility has gone through several stages of renovations in recent years, making it an important community gathering spot close to downtown. It is located directly across from McCamly Park, and the Federal Center. We bought tickets for opening day of the tulip festival to have a lunch and a show. We were greeted kindly, sat promptly, and provide coffee/ice tea or water. The facility was clean, well lit and smelled great..giant parking lot out front for plenty of parking and parking in the back. We were close to the stage so our view of the Entertainment was stunning. We were served pea soup, pigs in a blanket and yummy almond bar as a sweet treat and Coleslaw. Everything was fresh and prompt. The show was very educational and unique. Highly recommend to bring your older loved ones to enjoy.

If you don't love your family member this is a perfect choice! Woman at the front desk was horribly…read morerude to start! The staff was overloaded so you better not need help with anything! After calling my mother's room several times,I called the nurses station and the young man that answered the phone said well that's not my patient but went to check anyway! My mother was not coherent and couldn't speak and he acted like it was fine. She was not! I rushed over and Hopsice was brought in,I'm not a nurse and o could tell she didn't have long! I demanded she get moved into Rose Arbor that night,Centrica made that happen. I couldn't stand the thought of my mom taking her last breath in such a horrible place!
