We've contacted HP customer service multiple times and have walked in to talk to them. We've sent emails or pictures and measurements to show proof it's a manufacturing problem and not an installation problem. We have YET to hear from HP. It's already been 2 months since HP said they will fix our problem. I'm losing faith with the portage staff of Hp since our experience with the staff is getting worse every time we walk through their doors. Furthermore, we found out the lady we enjoyed working with to order our doors quit her job when we asked for her help. Of the three big corporate home improvement companies in the Kalamazoo area, I vote The Home Depot to be the best one to go for your home improvement needs. Even though I like Lowe's design styles better, HD overall has the best customer service. I've bought my carpet and carpet installation from HP. Both flooring associates and the carpet installers were friendly and professional. Be prepared and expect delays on getting carpet installed. We set a date back in June 2017 and had to reschedule the install twice, and finally got the carpet installed in August 2017. After the carpet installers left, I asked them to leave us the left over carpet. What I found was a large clear bag full of the new carpet with trash and dirt mixed inside. It was disappointing to see all the extra carpet gone to waste. Furthermore, when I was reassessing my furniture, I noticed the installers broke my desk, which cannot stand up on it's own because one of the legs was broken from the moving furniture. Also I've ordered custom made doors. Buyers beware on which associate you work with. Make sure you ask for an associate that KNOWS and understand doors. We first had an associate that knows how to order materials online but didn't have the expertise in doors. This resulted in us returning half of our doors back because they were built wrong. HD customer service was very helpful in fixing our issues. Additionally, I got help from the kitchen design people to help me order two cabinet doors. They were very helpful and even called me at home to confirm sizes and to order online so I didn't have to drive back to the store. I would recommend this place because of the overall quality of the customer service in multiple departments, especially if you are looking to ordering/updating/installing anything in your home. The installers could do a better job in being more careful with customer's property and discuss how to move things around so furniture doesn't get damaged.

Skyler continued to assist as needed throughout my shopping. I narrowed down my choices and Skyler put together 2 carts for me because I was undecided between 2 different sectionals. I went back again with my sister a couple days later so I could get her input, and we were assisted by Braedyn. When we mentioned that we were concerned that the sectionals would look too bulky in my living room, Braedyn showed me how I could separate the sectionals I loved into 2 pieces as a sofa and love seat. Once again I was thrilled with the service I received. I shopped at other furniture stores, but I thought the furniture at Bob's was very reasonably priced (except for the mattresses). I finalized my sale today and was happy that both Skyler and Braedyn were working so that I could tell them both how much I appreciated them. I was paying cash and also the mgr on duty was in training and stated sorry we can't accept cash because I'm in training and don't have access to safe. My experience at my local corner spice store was positively pleasant. While this visit was to pick up a waffle iron (our old one was donezo, and we just made homemade maple syrup from sap from our own trees) and to get some supplies I needed for work, we did take a look at the regular grocery shelves and they seemed well stocked. I did see a grown adult cough without covering her mouth while we were there and couldn't help exclaiming: "You're an adult ... Cover your mouth when you cough!" How on earth are we supposed to get our kids to cover their mouths if adults can't even do it? It's frustrating to see businesses bending over backwards to keep thier customers safe and some people still being so cavalier about protecting others.
