Storyteller is located in downtown Carefree. The store sells unique Indian jewelry, art and crafts. They have a large selection of silver and turquoise jewelry. There are many carved Native American themed sculptures. You will see some carved Hopi kachinas. The kachinas are carved painstakingly from one piece of cottonwood. This is a fantastic retail Indian jewelry store. I met David, the store owner. He's been in the business for over 40-years. His jewelry is authentic Navajo, Zuni and Hopi work. David can tell you, for each piece, where the turquoise was mined. He can describe the needlepoint work on a Zuni earring and explain to you the finer points of each piece.
